The Post About Nothing/everything Thread

i get so bored and lonely at night, that i browse these forums out of boredom and loneliness -
all i can think of is you either fired them up without juice in there, or you take hits off them too often and end up burning the filling, or the wicking material is bad, or the atomizer is bad. My guess is the cartomizers are bad, Ive started with the boge cartomizers and Ive mistreated and vaped heavily on them for a while, and the only metallic tasting one I had was because I put it on my battery and started vaping not knowing I forgot to put juice in it. I even fill it with 50pg/50vg juice and vape it directly after, I dont let them 'set', and they work fine. Same goes for these 1.7ohm single coil cartomizers form smoktech I recently been using, use them the same way and no problems. Then again when I look again, it could be mismatched voltage/cartomizer resistance, could be putting out too much power and melting stuff.

twelveday replied to twelveday's topic in General Vaping Discussion
im kinda looking for more of those interesting one of a kind flavors. I have a bottle of the sweet georgia peach pipe sauce on the way. and am trying to find a menthol and some more fruity mix type flavors. Im thinking of trying vt's mentha. -
so far i know of and tried thevaporroom sweet-vapes avejuice anyone order from other vendors and what did you think of them? thinking of checking out a bunch of diff juices. Not really into the mass production generic stuff, more of the self owned, make their own juice kind of stuff. interesting flavors. what have you tried?

Looking For An Improved Kit/mod.
twelveday replied to sasetrase's topic in General Vaping Discussion
yeah youll notice the vaping is more consistent. i think the kgo stays at 3.7v or higher, whereas with my egos ive noticed they are strong fully charged, but about halfway through the vapor/warmth falls off a bit -
When's Your Favorite Time To Vape?
twelveday replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
i like vaping late night, out in the fresh air where everything is asleep and quiet. Opening a fresh carto, filling it with juice, and relaxing on the back porch. -
What Kind Of Music Are We All Into?

the strange thing ive always wondered is that, the mature fully developed mid twenties actors always play high school age roles. Diana Agron from Glee is hot, and she isnt no high schooler lol, I wish the girls looked like that back when I was in high school. -
maybe its a funky charger?

Dual Coil 1.5 Ohm 3.5 Ml Cartomizers
twelveday replied to willmon22's topic in General Vaping Discussion
yeah the longer you use atomizer/cartomizers, they die out or generate a ton of debris on the coil/atomizer which seem to mask the flavor, you cant really 'dry burn' cartomizers, i cant think of any other way to get the taste like a fresh cartomizer other than getting a new one. The cartomizers still work and produce vapor, but the downside is the loss of flavor. -
Dual Coil 1.5 Ohm 3.5 Ml Cartomizers
twelveday replied to willmon22's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I dont think you will ever get it fully clean after long periods of use, the filler will be discolored even when dry due to particles of the additives being left behind in the filler material. After you think its dry just take off the top and blow some air through it to make sure. Even if its not fully dried, i dont think little bits of water mixed with e-liquid will do anything real bad. -
yeah the bolt is a horn style it protrudes from the tube. The roughstack I never noticed that the button was ontop, that seems strange and uncomfortable. I can see my thumb hurting after a while of using the roughstack depending on how hard the button is to press. I got my SB recently as well and it was worth the money imo, seems like ill be sticking with my SB for a long time heres a picture of the button on the bolt

Depends on what you're looking for I guess. Do you need more battery life or would want to try something new? If you're satisfied go with the bigger battery, if you're curious and want to explore go with the mod

I have a 1100 ego passthrough if anyone is in desperate need of one

Looking For An Improved Kit/mod.
twelveday replied to sasetrase's topic in General Vaping Discussion
yeah 5v boxes are nice and affordable if u want warmer stronger vapes. if u have the cash the reo mini from reosmods is fully mechanical but its a 3.7v. costs a ton of money though. -
i havent tried the others, but i love my silver bullet. simple, clean, and functional, the main difference i see between the silver bullet and the others is the recessed button, which i tend to like more

i cant edit my first post but heres a picture of size comparisons silverbullet is the big white one standing upright with white carto and black driptip, silver one laying sideways is the 1100 ego passthrough with cone+306 atomizer, left of that are 3 stick style batteries, white one is joye 510 with the black manual button, and the two to the right are the automatics from madvapes, above the passthrough are my 2x 650mah egos with a boge cartomizer on it, I misplaced my 5vboxmod but its about the size of your palm -

Its been about 5 months and I've tried several ecigarettes and decided to do some short reviews on some to try to inform or help some new vapers. I started off small then started trying different kinds and am now using several different types of ecigs. Stick Style: Smoke 51 trio - I started off with this e-cigarette which came with one battery, a charger, and 5 pre filled cartridges. I bought it at a local smoke shop. Being new to the vaping world I didn't think much of it, I used it for about a week and it worked decent enough for me til my Joye 510 came in the mail. I bought 10 pre-filled cartridges to go along with the smoke 51 trio as well. Thinking back to it now the vapor was decent to start off with, but there was little to no throat hit at all which made me wonder if the nicotine content was as advertise (18mg). Cartridges would last only a few puffs, which ended up maybe from 2-3 cigarettes for each pre-filled cartridge. It was both a good and bad experience, the price total came out to be about 30$ which I can't complain about. At the time it was enough for me to get my foot in the door of vaping, but I think I would have went back to traditional cigarettes if I didn't continue the journey because the Smoke 51 Trio wasn't satisfying, and would have costed about the same if not more to feed my habit (alot more if I wasn't exposed to more information about vaping, ie e-liquid, cartomizers instead of cartridges, overpricing of mainstream market etc.) Joye 510 - This was my second e-cig, I ordered the 2x manual battery kit, along with some e-liquid to pre-fill cartridges on my own. I was hesistant to go for a manual style battery with a button because I still wanted the feeling of smoking a cigarette without the awkwardness of having to push a button. I used these for about 2-3 weeks but then decided to order the eGo because the battery life on these weren't lasting me the day. I notice I tend to vape a bit and take more drags off my ecig when I took my breaks and the battery life on these weren't cutting it for me. Plus I still didn't like the manual on the stick style batteries. 510 Automatic Batteries (Madvapes) - I've settled on these for my short-term vaping (ie, taking a short drive to the store or going out for a few minutes), The automatic style battery is nice and I havent had a problem with them yet, been using for 2 months. The battery life isn't all that great but they work for what they are which is a small stick style cigarette-like battery, no button to press just inhale and it turns on, no accidental firing. Only thing is you have to take strong thorough drags to keep it firing, it tends to turn off prematurely if you don't follow through. Later on down the road i plan to pick up some 808 automatic batteries from smokeless image to replace these with, I just dont like the fact that I'm going to have to buy a bunch of new cartomizers just to work with them because most of everything I have now are 510 connections. If anyone knows of any good 510 automatic batteries let me know, I'd rather have a 510 auto stick style than an 808. Mid: Joye eGo 1100 Passthrough - Bought a detachable Joye eGo 1100 Passthrough for my computer and vaped this for a long, long time. This connects to your computer via USB cable and lets you vape continuously while also charging, but is also detachable so you can take it on the go. It has an end screwcap that you just put on to cover the USB connection. Its a little bit wider than the stick style batteries and is exactly the same height (with cone on) as a silver bullet (without an atomizer on it). This was my main go to vape for a long long time, and is still getting some use. Joye eGo 650 - Vaportalk was having a christmas special on an eGo kit and I decided to pick it up, came iwth 2x 650mah eGo batteries and atomizers etc. the 650mah batteries are shorter than the 1100 passthrough, I keep them charged and take those out on the go sometimes rather than detaching my passthrough. Good ecig, same performance as my passthrough, but further on down the road I started to notice performance dropping. Don't get me wrong the Joye eGo is a fantastic product, but after research and using it for a while, I noticed that the vapor, heat, overall performance dropped the longer you used the batteries. Later on I find out that the voltage of the battery does not stay consistent throughout and drops lower the weaker the battery gets, which leads to a decline in performance. Also these are not true 3.7v devices. At this point I found what I liked and started using low resistance cartomizers, and the performance of the cartomizers just weren't consistent on my eGo batteries, unless I was using them on my passthrough. Mods: 5V Boxmod (Madvapes) - This mod introduced me to high voltage vaping. The mod itself was 30$. The main thing I could tell was that it put out more power. You don't have to take long drags to get huge amounts of vapor, and the vapor is warm. If you do take long drags on this though, the flavor seems to burn and you tend to burn some filler if you use cartomizers. Higher voltage mods, depending on your setup, is a different type of vaping experience. Shorter drags, same amount of vapor, and much warmer vapor. I use my 5V Boxmod from time to time but I found out it wasn't for me, I like taking long drags on my ecig and with these I just wasn't able to without shortening the lifespan on my cartomizers, or having to direct drip more often than if i vaped on a 3.7 device. Silver Bullet (Altsmoke) - After reading around I decided to get a Silver Bullet whcih is a 3.7v device. So far I love it. I use cartomizers, mainly boge 2.0s or smok tech 1.7 single coils, and the performance throughout is much more consistent than my eGos. It is a big mod, much bigger than the eGo. I was afraid of it being too large but it actually isnt, it fits in your hand perfectly. Most of my time is spent around the house anyways so I dont worry about having to take my SB out and about. I still use my 650 eGo's if I have to go out for a bit, but my Silver Bullet has become my main ecig for long periods of use. The batteries in these last a good 2-3 days before needing to recharge, which completely replaced my 1100 ego passthrough for at home use. I looked at many mods out there, and overall I think the Silver Bullet is a clean, well built mod that was worth the money to invest in. If you're looking for a good 3.7v mod and have the cash, I'd suggest buying one. Current E-Cigarettes in use: Daily Vape, Main - Silver Bullet On the Go - 650mah eGo, 510 Automatic If anyone knows of any good 510 Automatic Batteries let me know, otherwise im switching to smokelessimage 808's for my on the go batts in a month or two (id rather stay with 510 connection though since all my stuff are 510 atm) Future Purchases (Thoughts): 3.7v Reo Mini - I was planning on buying this before my Silver Bullet, but the Reo Mini's cost is what swayed me towards the SB (140$ v 85$). I still plan on buying this in the future, as a more 'portable' and reliable 3.7v mod. Smokelessimage Automatic Style Batteries - Plan on picking up some of these next as well to replace my generic 510 automatic stick styles.

Smok Tech 1.7ohm 510 Single Coil Cartomizer I've been ordering a bunch of different kind of atomizers and cartomizers to try out ever since I got my Silver Bullet and just wanted to make a quick post/review on these cartomizers since they stuck out above the others. These are the single coil cartomizers and I got them in white to match my Silver Bullet =). They are pretty slick and a tiny bit longer than the Boge cartomizers, have the 'plug' top and are easily fillable just like the Boges. I was looking for a decent lower resistance cartomizer than the Boge 2.0's and I've found them in these cartomizers. So far they have been performing on the same par if not better than the other cartomizers I've tried, the vapor production on these are great and the vapor itself seems to stay consistent a bit longer (warm, flavorful vapor for a good period of time before it tends to drop off). I am using the same juice in these as I use in my other cartomizers/atomizers (50/50). The only main difference between these and the Boges that I can tell is the flavor change in the juices, which probably comes from the difference in resistance, its more of a 'change' of flavor rather than a 'burning', but still the same 'taste', ie peaches and cream tastes like peaches in cream just different, if that makes any sense. I got these at $1.59 each which is $7.95 for 5, about the same price as a pack of Boges at $7.99. If anyones looking to try out other cartomizers or anything like that, I suggest you try these out, they are pretty good.
