  1. I'd like to point out, just in case there is a "G" confusion. PG is Propylene Glycol and that is what is in your carts. VG is Vegetable Glycerin and is probably not in your pre-filled carts. The two will mix and vape, you'll just have to make sure that you stir it up well. I just thought I'd clear that up in case it was an issue with the "G", the two are not the same.
  2. From the looks of Ken's got nothing too! Blah, Ha, Ha, Ha!!!!
  3. Merriam-Webster defines it as such: Main Entry: pro·té·gé Pronunciation: \ˈprō-tə-ˌzhā, ˌprō-tə-ˈ\ Function: noun Etymology: French, from past participle of protéger to protect, from Middle French, from Latin protegere Date: 1787 : one who is protected or trained or whose career is furthered by a person of experience, prominence, or influence .................................................................................................................. The Ken doll is his protege!
  4. [sigh} Kids are great, really! My son's grandfather has a theory about kids, he's almost 70, so y'all aren't going to like it. He says; Kids are great, but when they reach about 12, they ought to be placed in a barrel and fed through the bung-hole. At about 16 you plug up the bung-hole! I have had 7 children that I have had a hand in raising. My last child is 8 and he is the last one at home and he is the only child that I have had in my house for his entire life, the rest of the kids were fostered or step-children. I really do not know what I'd actually do if he participated in this kind of non-sense, but my first thought is a good a ss-whipping. He goes to a private school, they have corporal punishment and so do we. If he gets pops or licks at school, your darned right he will get them at home too. It's amazing on how well behaved he is and how many compliments we get on our very courteous little gentleman. I have a 2X2 that has a handle carved in it and holes drilled in it, it was made by his grandfather for applying "The Board of Education to The Seat of Knowledge. I have used it once in the past two years and that was only the third time I have ever used it on him. Amazing, the incentive he has for being where he is supposed to be when he is supposed to be there and acting like we expect him to. I love my son enough to make sure that he has the discipline that he needs and I love him enough to be his Dad and not his buddy.
  5. The methods that I hear that work the best for those that have tried it are Denture Cleaner and just plain boiling water. if you are worried about residue the don't use anything that has sugar in it like Coca Cola or mouthwash. Sugars do not effect heating elements with a vary positive outcome. I'm sure that you have heard of putting sugar in someones gas tank to kill their engine, well it's the heat the locks it up along with the gluing effect of sugar. Propylene Glycol is soluble in water and as long as you atty wasn't crusted with a lot of baked on residue, I would think that the boiling water method would be best if the atty was salvageable at all. If that didn't work and I was sure that it was salvageable then I'd try the Denture Cleaner method and boil it afterward. If that still didn't work, a new atty is only 10 bucks, almost the price of two packs of analogues. I just wouldn't sweat it!
  6. No, the Cold War is not over and the removing of the Berlin wall was just for show, we are moving to a one world government and all of the things in that past, since FDR, have been training us for just that. You can trust the communists...to be communists! When the formal communist government failed they all moved to Greenpeace and the eco organizations and took over, now they are imposing their skewed and fractured line of reasoning on the world in the name of "Saving The Environment"! I do not think that the UN will be the one world government that is coming, it is the fall guy that will be what everyone is watching while a new organization will be created and it will be the "New and Improved" thing that takes over, you hide and watch. Freedom and Liberty must be defended everyday!
  7. I am not a cynic, and yes this is for fun, but Keenan wanted to know what "real" things and "living" people that others would do and select to effect real positive change in our government. Things like giving everyone a million dollars would just devaluate the dollar and inflation would go thru the roof and it would do more damage than the stimulus plan/package. And things like nuking our enemies would cause global retaliation and effective wipe out life on this planet. But if we are just being silly, I'd like to buy the world a Coke and teach it perfect harmony!
  8. I can see and understand how an eCig or rather a particular model, can be a matter of personal preference. When I researched eCigs before I bought my first one, I was inundated by the many different models and all of the information out there. My first purchases, yes plural, were a DSE901 and a DSE801 from AwesomeVapor.com and a Titan 510 and a "Super-E" (4081) from Totally Wicked. I ordered these four models all on the same night and they all arrived the same day. So, here I was with all of this stuff spread out on my desk. I tried the DSE901, it was small, easy to use and it could very well take the place of an analogue. But after actively using it in the field, I found that I have to leave the office every morning with 15 charged batteries to make it through an 8 hour day away from the office. I have a car charger for it, but it's a hassle to have to manage a cigarette. Like I don't have enough to manage already with cell phones, a bunch of employees, trying to get a job put back in and keep a customer happy all while trying to make collections and run emergency calls. I didn't want or need another thing to manage. I tried the DSE801, better vapor production than the 901 and better battery life, I found that I only need 10 of those batteries instead of 15 for the 901, but it was still a hassle and a device management problem. I smoked a "tobacco" pipe for years and it was less work and thought than eCigs. I tried the Titan 510 with it's manual battery. I guess I just wasn't ready for the manual function that everyone was raving about, I really didn't have a problem with the cut off on the auto batteries and didn't see what all of the hub-bub was about. Looking back I think that the problem that I had with the Manual 510 was that the battery was too small in diameter to make pushing the button a natural function like I have found it to be on the VP2. The 510 and its unique PCC case (a PCC holds a charge for 4 batteries) would get me thru a day but I would have had to have 3 PCCs and 7 batteries to get me thru the day and then there is still the management issue that I had to jack with the darn thing to make sure I always had a battery charging. I tried the "Super-E" (4081), auto battery, small, like a cigarette, comfortable like the 901, great unit. I found that it had slightly better battery life that the 901 and vapor production was equal to the 801 and it was durable. It took about 12 batteries to get me thru the day, but it was still a management thing. Too much hassle. When I ordered all of this, I had also ordered two VP2s. They didn't come in as fast as the other units because Jeso had to make them and it took three weeks. When it arrived my problems with battery management were solved. The batteries charge in three hours and will give me 8 to 9 hours of steady constant vaping. I don't have to carry chargers in the truck and I have reduced the crap that I have to carry with me down to less than the volume of stuff that I have to have to smoke analogue cigarettes. The vapor production was equal to the 801 which was great and everything was jiving with this unit. It is large enough in diameter to make using the manual function a natural movement. I thought I have found the perfect vape. But I never got the massive clouds of vapor that everyone on the videos were getting. I thought that maybe it was the same and that's just the way it looked on a web-cam. So I tried vaping in front of a web-cam. I found out that wasn't the case. I just wasn't getting the plumes from any of my units like the "pros" were. Then I found out about the 801 Low Bridge attys that Arno sells at AwesomeVapor.com, Chris told me (Kudos to Chris). Now I have found my niche, I use a VP2 with 2 or maybe 3 batteries a day with a 801LB atty. I leave the office with my VP2, a spare atty, 2 charged batteries and a 3ml bottle of juice. The spare batteries, spare atomizer and the bottle of juice fit in the battery case that Jeso sent with the VP2 and it measures 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches and fits perfectly in the cup holder of the truck with no battery management problems at all. If for some insane reason that the VP unit ever doesn't work, I have the 4081 as a back up in the box on the shelf, but that's not happened yet.
  9. And as a side note to Keenan who started this thread: Y'all, Y'all, Y'all! It's all good!
  10. Here's the thing guys, The President of The Unites States Of America does not have the power to do these things that y'all are talking about, he is not a Supreme Dictator. A King in Medieval times didn't have that kind of power. In order for this power to bestowed on a sitting US President, the Constitution would have to be suspended and Martial Law imposed on the entire country. If that were to happen, there would be a Military Coup d'etat and the people would take to the streets en masse. I envision the death toll close to that of the Civil War. What this country needs is an enema. There are too few in Congress that are actually looking out for the interest of their constituents rather that their pocketbooks or political agendas. Congress is there to represent the will of the people, not the will of the Congressman or what the Congressman thinks is best. We as a nation have forgotten that and continue to put these people in office. There are a lot of positions or offices in this country that have moved away from from what their purpose is. The local Sheriff for example is an office that was established to protect the common citizen from the government. Now it is part of the government and has joined the majority of Law Enforcement in the main goal of generating revenue from the people for the county. The dumming down of the populace in this country has resulted in a near total take-over and as a result a new direction of the purpose of government. If the people, citizens, of this country actually knew the history behind the Magna Carta, The Bill Of Rights, The Declaration Of Independence and the resulting Constitution Of The United States and actively kept up with what the government does vs what it should do, We would not be in the mess were in now. I could go about this forever, but I have been preaching this stuff for years and most people are too wrapped up in their careers, sports and hobbies to really sacrifice to get this country back on track. Now if this country were to return to Constitutional Republic as it was intended, the people would not like it because they have become sedentary and complacent in their lives. "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." -Benjamin Franklin
  11. Fine, blame it on me, I wasn't going to say anything, Blabbermouth!
  12. I hope you were drinking milk when it came out your nose, because if you weren't, I'd have that checked. He used it as his magic wand.
  13. That would cause more than Global Conflict, Global Annihilation for sure!
  14. Aw cool, So, Totally Wicked's "Super-E" that turns out to be a 4081 is an NJoy NPro? Yeah, it was great, before I got the VP2. I used it as a backup on that first trip to Missouri when the 901 attys fizzled out on me. But all that is in the past, I have moved on to the world of VPs, sweating that VP3 coming out!
  15. I agree with you, xsnut, You need to stay out of politics!
  16. Hey man, that makes my day, I am so glad to be able to help you, I am now complete. Have a good one and keep on vaping! Drip, Vape, Repeat!
  17. As far as the automated order process and the delivery, they were fine. I'm not knocking them. They were a supplier that I purchased from on the first day of my insane eCig conversion spree. But I now prefer to do business with suppliers that I interact with here on the forum and the ones that take an active role in VaporTalk. Kind of like the shop local campaigns in small towns. I give my money to those that I know well and have a rapport with. Like AwesomeVapor.com, VaprLife.com and the VaporTalkStore.com. These suppliers contribute daily to the forum and its financial wellbeing, the VaporTalkStore is the main avenue of funding for this site and if I am going to enjoy what Chris has created here, I owe it to him to patronize his business, if I am to continue to enjoy the benefits of the fruits of his labor. Chris had done a great thing for me and I am very appreciative of him. I have only had one defective item come from Totally Wicked and that was the multi pack of replacement 901 batteries. I don't use my 901 stuff after I have received my VP2s, because it's the bomb! (did I really just say that?) Anyway, don't let it worry you, if you have a problem with their merchandise, they will honor their warranty as long as you act swiftly if you discover a problem because most eCig warranties are only two weeks on batteries and attys.
  18. That is exactly where I was going to go next, the contact points. I am an electrician and I clean contacts all of the time. If you don't have any "contact cleaner" then take some Isopropyl alcohol on a long Q-Tip and swab the contacts hard until the dark carbon is gone. If that doesn't improve the performance of your unit, then I think there is a problem with the part of the mod that comes out of the top and the atty screws on to. You would have to contact Muldrick and have him repair this. I have never had any contact with him but if he is worth doing business with he will be very eager to help you. As for your spelling, grammar and punctuation, I don't generally call people out on it. I have an 8 year old who is child number 7 that I have raised and I get to correct him often, so that pretty much fills up my card on English diction.
  19. This unit is activated by "Pushing on the atomizer". Can you explain how that works to me? Does the atomizer fitting move up an down with pressure?
  20. Ok, I think I know which one you have. Let me go and check it out, I'll be back in a few...
  21. Howdy, Jeffb. Welcome to the VaporTalk Forum, this is a real great place to start with your eCig venture. Again, Welcome to VaporTalk!
  22. I don't think that you have a problem with your batteries. I believe its your unit, let me ask you some questions about it. #1 What is it, who made it, what is it called, where did you buy it (send me a link to the site)? #2 How long have you had it? #3 Did it work OK when you first got it or has it always acted this way? #4 Has anything happened to it, did you drop it or get it wet, anything abnormal ever happen to this unit?
  23. Insects be aware, here come Alfred's Birds. They are really eating massive amounts of insects, bats do the same thing at night.
  24. If they are Li-ion they are not susceptible to the "Memory Effect". I doubt very seriously that you have 6 batteries at the same time that have a problem. Did you ever check the voltage on these batteries like we discussed the other day?
