Super T -Super Six Vaporizer
TheSmokingMan replied to VapnRealtor's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hey Derek, are you currently using a battery mod? Like a VP unit or a Protégé? Do you have anything other than a stock 510, 901 or 801s to compare it to? -
The Bad Feeling I Had Was True

I am really sorry to hear about Scooter, I understand what you are having to go thru, I lost my office buddy "Sir Thomas" on July 25th of this year to Feline Leukemia. Know that it is better that Scooter will no longer suffer. -
Wow, someone else who likes to write, like I do. And you guys thought I was long winded, Ha!

Is It Ok To Charge All My Batteries And Store Them For Future
TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
You guys wear me out! It's a Li-ion battery, for now, we wont get into the new batteries that we will see in the near future. Li-ion batteries do not have the problem with holding a memory like the Ni-Cad batteries did. Li-ion batteries will diminish in their ability to provide power over time and use (depends on how frequently they are used). When you put them in the charger for the first time or the fiftieth time, They will be fully charged when the light on the charger says they are charged. The charger cuts off and does not continue to charge after the battery has reached it full charge, even if you leave it on the charger for 8, 10, 15 or 20 hours. When it's charged its charged. period I have two Li-ion batteries that I have used in my VP2, cycling them, and using three batteries full per day for about two months. They take between to and a half hours to charge and they give me between 8 to 9 hours of vaping. When I first opened them it too less than 20 minutes to charge the the first time and they have worked fine. I am also field testing a new battery in my VP2 for the past two days and it's about the same. This is about the extent of my knowledge in dry-cell batteries, now if you want to discuss wet-cell lead acid batteries, we can talk about that all day. I have a vast amount of knowledge concerning those that are used in bulldozers, 18 wheelers, electric forklifts and Photo Voltaic (Solar Power) and wind generated systems. Also, I learned this weekend how to tell a protected battery from an unprotected battery. A protected battery has a ridge that runs around the negative end of the battery. That was courtesy of Jeso at VaprLife.com maker of the fine VP line of eCig battery mods. -
Question About Juice Coming Through Mouth Peice
TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
You have too much juice in the cart or atty. It won't kill you, but it sure tastes nasty. -
Is It Ok To Charge All My Batteries And Store Them For Future
TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
Beats me, why it would say that. The old rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries would get a memory if you didn't drain them completely and you could only use the amount that the memory was burned to. We had a charger that hit them with a high amount of voltage to "Equalize" them and erase the memory, but the new Li-ion batteries that e-Cigs are using are a totally different animal and don't get a memory level burned into them. They just diminish over time and use. Sorry, I can't help you on this one, maybe it's a screw-up in those bad Chinese translations that come in the manuals with the Chinese made eCigs -

I haven't heard of a 20 minute thing? If the light says the battery is charged then it's charged. -
Is It Ok To Charge All My Batteries And Store Them For Future
TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
I telling ya, if the light says it's charged, then the charger has stopped charging the battery and it's fully charged. It's just sitting there in the charger no different if it were sitting on your desk not in the charger. -

TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
Because when the batteries are made they really don't know what the charge level is of each battery by the time it gets to the customer. So they tell you the maximum time that you would have to charge it from completely drained and then some, in order to protect themselves from returns because of customers not charging them long enough and thinking they were defective. When batteries are made they have a slight charge at the factory, then they are given a little charge by the QC department, then they are packaged, put on a slow boat from China to the US and may end up sitting on a shelf for a year before they are ever used. Temperature and humidity will have a draining effect on batteries, there is no way to predict what the charge will be by the time it gets to the end user. -

TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
When the light says it's charged the charger quits charging, so if it takes 30 minutes or 3 hours, when the light says it's charged that's it, it's not charging anymore. If the charger kept charging after the light said it was charged, then you would overcharge the battery and run the risk of explosion or fire. When the light says it charged the charger quits charging. -

Jeso would probably be the one to ask about this. In my experience this is exactly what I have done. When I do take one out of storage and use it I top it off before I use it. -
There is a Parliament flavored juice, I don't know how close it is to the actual cigarette but I wouldn't get my hopes up that it is. If he is a pack a day smoker I would start out on about 18 to 16 mg. I was a heavy smoker 2.5 packs a day and the 36 was too high for me. I stepped down to the 24 for a few weeks and then to 18 to 16. Next week I go to the 9 mg when my order from Arno at AwesomeVapor.com gets here and I figure I'm probably currently at a pack a day nicotine intake.

I would think that vaporizing cinnamon oil, would really burn! I wouldn't think that it would take much to get a flavor that tasted nice. I meant to multi quote this but I didn't. Warthog asked about the suppliers on the forum, I have only tried AwesomeVapor.com and VaporTalkStore.com and neither of them carry Cinnamon flavored juice. Therefore I cannot render an opinion. I guess I will have to order some stuff from the other suppliers and see if they are any good if I am going to continue to help people on the forum.

I'm right there with you Dave, after purchasing a bunch of stuff I wish I would have purchased the VP2 first. It's all I vape now. That is just my experience, I know that Chris and others are always trying out new models on the market and making reviews, but for when I found the VP2 and an 801 Low Bridge atty, that was it for me, I found what I was looking for.
-
I did a Google search and just found several supplies that carry Cinnamon flavored juice or cinnamon rolls flavored juice. Go get it boy!

Diethelene Glycol is not in AwesomeVapor.com juice and it is not in VaporTalkStore.com Juice. Most of the suppliers do not have it in their juice.

I have always been a heavy smoker, I smoked 2.5 packs of cigarettes a day and when I smoked a pipe I smoked a pound of pipe tobacco in about a month and a half. Do you have any idea how much a pound of pipe tobacco is? It's a butt-load! A carton of cigarettes is only about an ounce of tobacco, but it's lighter because it's dried, pipe tobacco is moist, real moist. I smoked a Falcon system pipe, I have a truck load of them, want to by a real cool pipe? Look it up online, they are real cool pipes, and cool smoking, that's a trick to have a cool (temperature) smoking pipe! But all that is behind me now, I like vaping and the NJoy NPro is as good as any eCig to start with until a person is ready to step up to Marlboro Country VP2 Country!

I Think I Just Realized Something, Is This What A Cartridge Is?
TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
The eCig is designed to have the cartridge filled and it releases the juice onto the screen by gravity. Most of us have found this to be a cheap design, one that is flawed and direct dripping is better for vapor production than filling the carts. It is a method that is simple and gives great results as long as you don't over drip and have the juice leak out the bottom if the atomizer where it screws onto the battery or leak down into the battery. Just drip three at a time and vape until it needs more then repeat, hence the slogan, Drip, Vape, Repeat! Got it? Good. Enjoy you vaping experience. I'll be up for another hour if you have anymore questions. -
I Think I Just Realized Something, Is This What A Cartridge Is?
TheSmokingMan replied to nemesis's topic in New Vapers Forum
Yes, Most e-Cigs other than "Cartomizers" are three piece, working from the bottom up there is the battery the atomizer and the cartridge. If you pull the cartridge off of the atomizer and look down in the tube you will see a fine mesh bridge made of stainless steel. That is the "wick" that soaks up the juice and delivers it to the element to be vaporized. When direct dripping it is this stainless steel mesh that you drip three or four drops on. I personally have found that it is better to also take the white poly/cotton like material out of the cartridge when direct dripping to avoid the poly fibers from becoming entangled in the element and causing a fowl taste when they (the fibers) melt. Hope that helps? -

The Problem Is Facebook ?
TheSmokingMan replied to keenan's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I certainly don't beat the crap out of my kids and I never have, just ask them. We have a process, I don't just wail the tar out of them on a whim. Our process is when the need for corporal punishment is established, Jacob is sent to his room. Mom or I go in and talk to him about what he has done and the punishment that it merits. He lays on his stomach on his bed and is given swats on his rump. After the crying is over a little time is spent letting him know that we don't hate him or have stopped loving him or whatever goes thru an 8 year old's mind when he has gotten licks. It's all done with love and ceremony, he knows what is coming and why and he accepts it and we move on the another 6 to 8 months of great behavior. -
Buy, Buy, Buy!!! wait a minute is that American dollars pennies or Chinese yen?

Hold on a second, I smoked a pipe for years. People would tell me Man, that pipe sure smells good, I would always tell them "I wish it tasted like it smelled!" Pipe tobacco smells totally different than it tastes, it is definitely an acquired taste, it takes about six weeks just for your tongue to get used to the smoke.
