Peeps With The Pcc/ppc 510 ...
TheSmokingMan replied to elem187's topic in General Vaping Discussion
That's not going to happen unless your prepared to carry a 4'X 2' solar panel with you on a camping trip. Coleman makes a small 1150 watt camp generator and so does Honda or you could just keep them charging in the car or on the ATV. It wouldn't take much to add a charger to your ATV if it's 12 volts. and not 6 like some of the older ones. -
This is not new, it's been going on for awhile.

I've got to add something else about smoking at work. I don't care where I have worked in my career, doing maintenance in office buildings and a meat packing facility and working behind a computer in the office to having my own office. I smoked, period and not in the freaking cold either. Being an electrician I have always had keys to all of those locked doors that you find in office buildings and some of the maintenance hallways are certified labyrinths, real easy to get lost in. At the facility that made hamburger patties in Ft. Worth, I would go out in one of the warehouses, smoke in the maintenance shop or go to the attic (which was really another floor in the building in itself). Screw all of that bundling up in the winter and freezing you cajones off trying to smoke a cig. You wouldn't believe how nice a heater hydraulic lines make when they are in use.

My wife and I were just talking about starting walking up the driveway and back after dinner every night. That's 1/2 a mile to the cattle guard and 1/2 a mile back to the house, goo thing it's paved. As for getting you sense of smell back, I told her I could smell the carpet freshener before I come in the front door now, She was amazed. I used to keep 4 air fresheners in my truck, just so I could smell them. Now I have only one. I also told her tonight, that I can also smell other things that aren't so nice and that she is going to have to do something about that rogue kitten that showed up because it doesn't belong in the house! ...Busted!

Well, I've been vaping on this DSE801 atty that I got in a kit from Arno. I got it a month ago and have used it on the DSE801 batteries all that time. Last Monday (7 days ago), I received my VP2 and I put it one the VP2 and have use it all day, every day, until this morning, Poof! it quit working, one hit was great the next was nothing!. Now I am using one of the original attys that came with the VP2, it's OK, but not like the DSE801 atty. I have ordered some Low Bridge attys from Arno tonight so I'll see how that goes. I think that I saw where Chris changes his atty every month on his VP2, no matter what.

After my week in Missouri and handing out all of my business cards with VaporTalk.com hand written on the back, I though about having some printed up myself, it would sure save me the writing.

PG in and of itself is sweet, it is used as a sweetener and a suspension method for medicines in things like cough syrup. I agree that 555 is nutty at the start and kind of bitter at the end (Oh, the bitter end!), I am completely done with Johnson Creek, what a joke compared with Vapor Talk's Juice. Chris has it just right for me. I don't think your age has anything to do with it, if that really is your picture as your Avatar, you are in better shape than I and about the same age, I'm 41. By the way you look like Bill Clinton getting ready to beat Hillary's A$$ in that pic.

5 hours? I'm getting 8 to 9 hours off of my batteries. I have one I use during the day and one that I use at night. I always run them completely down before I recharge them.
-
I just ordered some from Arno about 30 seconds ago, I'll investigate when they come in and report back.
-
Personally I find the Johnson Creek juice to be weak, non vapor producing and too fluid. A thicker e-Juice doesn't leak as bad, like Johnson Creek's juice leaks. I have 6, 5ml bottles of Johnson Creek in various flavors that I am trying to deplete and I won't order any more from them. I've been mixing it into comparable flavors to thicken it up, Like JC Espresso in AwesomeVapor's Coffee or AwesomeVapor's 555 with JC Black Cherry, just to get rid of it and make it thicker.

That is good thinking, get yourself in the habit now, so it's second nature by the time your son arrives. It's little things like that that will make you a good father, I'm looking forward to hearing the tales of your experience into this brave new world of fatherhood.
-
That's the one! It was hosted by Cathy Lee Gifford in the 80's. They had all kinds of stupid things on there, never missed it! So, how many e-Cigs can you get in your mouth?
-
Isn't that DPV (Drops Per Vape)? I just hope it doesn't end up like the Dude that made the mod that looked like an atty taped to the end of the Mag-Light, I think he (the Mag-Light Dude) showed up here on this forum and said a few choice words in response Chris' comic review. What I mean is how big is too big? I haven't looked at the size of 5 volt batteries but I'm guessing they're going to be bigger than the ones used in the VP2.
-
I haven't. I spent an obscene amount on analogues every year. I will not spend that much on e-Cigs, guaranteed! But I have spent about one quarter of what I would have spent on analogues in a year the first month on e-Cigs. But now I know what I like, want and will reorder. Now I have to figure out what to do with the stuff I'll never use that is brand new in the box!

Starting The Wife On Vaping Today
TheSmokingMan replied to jmhester's topic in General Vaping Discussion
NOOOOOO!!! Don't fall for it, it's a trick! That's like trading the remote control for French Fries! DON'T DO IT! -
I am not a doctor, thank goodness, It's complicated enough being an electrician. Some people who have certain conditions like ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) or ADD have adverse or opposite reactions or are effected differently by certain (not all) medicines. Hydrocodone, Diphenhydramine and Pseudo and/or Ephedrines at times will make these persons, restless, itchy, nervous and give them restless leg syndrome temporarily to the point that they can not properly sleep. So, maybe you are effected differently by nicotine.

Hey man, whatever it takes, "Safety is no Accident". I have a 10 month old grandson and an 8 year old at home and I wouldn't ever forgive myself if something like that were to happen to one of them. The 8 year old knows better but the baby is just that, a baby, he ate a fly yesterday before my daughter could get it away from him! I thought it was pretty cool but she liked to puked! The baby didn't seem to mind. However, I have a detached office from the house and I keep all of my juice out here on a shelf that he couldn't reach anyway. When I'm in the house the juice stays in my pocket.

Thanks for the heads up. That is very useful information for me.

Oops!, sorry 'bout that.

What Is Everyones Opinion On A Second Kit?
TheSmokingMan replied to elem187's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Does it for me, thanks! I'll shut-up now... -
My VP2's ROCK, and the batteries are at 4.0 volts when fully charged. They will drop down to 3 volts just before they dramatically slump off at the end of their charge. The brand of battery that Jeso sent with my VP2's are "SUREFIRE" brand. And that's 200 posts on VaporTalk for me!

Well, that shoot down my theory on the long and short bridge attys. I'll have to find that other post and write a subtraction. I'll order some of those short bridge attys from Arno and give them a try. Are they different than the ones that come with his DSE801 Kit?

I saw a TV show in the eighties "That;s Incredible", where a guy smoked 100 cigarettes at one time.

26 degrees below zero? You call that "BRISK"? That's not brisk it's insane. Routinely! 40 to 50 below! I used to be in the Maintenance Department of a hamburger patty manufacturer in Ft. Worth. We would Jet-Freeze patties with liquid Ammonia. Ammonia boils at 64 degrees below zero and we often would have to enter the freeze tunnels and un-jamb the conveyor belts. We wore a huge parka suit and used the buddy system, if we were incapacitated our buddy was watching from the door and he would shut off the tunnel and drag you out. The danger wasn't rotating blades or moving conveyors, the danger was the cold. Our storage freezers were warehouses 5 to 10 thousand square feet that were 5 degrees below and I couldn't work in them for longer than 10 or 15 minutes because I couldn't feel my hands while wearing multiple layers of gloves. Ha! (insert hysterical laughter here), screw that! Not in my lifetime! Well, I guess that there are "people of extremes" from one end of the thermometer to the other.

I can agree that they all should have child proof saftey caps just as with any drug, solvent, household cleaner and/or toxic substance. It is great that most of the companies here have done it by choice instead of being forced to by the government. Those that haven't, well they should before they're told to, as an act of good faith as it will look better to the FDA if the majority of the companies are trying to be safer.
