Yeah!! We helped someone! Mission acomplished, guy's! -
I have been a Simon and Garfunkel fan (although not a fanatic) since before I was born, I think. I don't have a very high opinion of them as people, but as musicians their tunes together and independently are great, although like John Lennon they are communists!

Sun Rays Shining Through Vapor

You do know that you can "Watch Topics" and have an email sent to you when there is some activity on that topic, don't you? I came back after two weeks away and had 290 messages in my inbox from the VaporTalk Forum about all of the posts since I've been away! You ought to try it, keeps you on top of conversations, oops gotta go Keenan just replied to one of my posts.... -
Hey, Jason! Sorry it took so long to answer this post, I've been, well, in a ****e storm for the past few weeks. in answer to your question about the VP2. I have tried the 901 atty on the mod and it worked better than it did on the little batteries that it is designed to work with. The vapor was a little better and the flavor/throat hit a little better. But the 801 atty out performed it on the VP2. Then I got an order of 801LB (Low Bridge) attys and these things vape like a freaking freight train. Much more than an analogue. I'm surprised someone hasn't thrown a bucket of water on me thinking I was on fire. I haven't tried the 510 on the VP2 for two reasons, #1 I don't have an adapter for a 510 and #2 I gave all of my 510 stuff to an employee that wanted to try vaping. three months later he still says that he is waiting until he is ready so he can really commit himself to it, which is a load of crap, he's just skeert!

Laser Treatment To Quit Smoking
TheSmokingMan replied to VegasVapor's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Ashley had mentioned that the surgeon or doctor had told the patient not to be around anyone that smokes, like that is easy to do! I guess you would have to be locked in a box or go to jail to do that. Last night I took my daughter home and there were these two old broads smoking on their porch two doors down and I could smell their cigarettes 50 feet away and today on the job, no one was smoking but I kept smelling cigarette smoke. We were working right on the side of 1097 (a two lane road), I kept thinking it was the passing cars?!? Never figured out where that smell was coming from. I believe that accu-puncture works, the orient swears by it and their medicine is thousands of years older than anything the western world has to offer. I have never tried accu-anything for anything, but I believe it works, I would try it if there was a reason to. I have tried hypnotism to quit smoking, all I did was to fall asleep, that crap doesn't work! Vaping Works! -
My First E-Cig Has Arrived! Joye 510 Titanium
TheSmokingMan replied to s4nt0s's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Ok, let me get this straight, you have an eCig that has carts that are pre-filled but there is no fiber in them, right? is the cart look like it could come apart? like does the mouthpiece detach from the part that actually houses the juice? If so, take off the mouthpiece, drip three drops of eJuice on to the atty and put the mouthpiece on the atty, sans cart and Vape. Then Drip, Vape, Repeat! Loose the carts. -

Very good!! In the clearing stands a boxer and a fighter by his trade.... That album was one of, if not my first. I think it was cut in 66' but I'm not sure, I got it in about 76' when I realized that there was more to music than Dean Martin and Herb Albert that my parents listend to.

If the battery was hot, get rid of it quick, do not use it again it could explode like a 410 shell in your face! if it was the atty that got hot then you probably had a short in the battery that caused the unit to power. I take it that it is a manual battery? is it sealed? or does it have a hole in to top under where the atty threads on to the battery. If it has a hole there then it's more than likely that juice got in there and caused the button to short in the closed position (on). Blow it out with canned air or an air compressor and don't get too much juice in the atty in the future. I just drip 3 or 4 drops at a time.

George Zimmerman can be an a ss sometimes! I guarantee it! At the reception, I had my eCig in my shirt pocket like always and I was leaning against the table talking to the people at the table and because of all the noise i had to lean close to hear the conversation. I must have been pushing the button on my VP2 the whole time, when I got up to go vape it tasted metallic, I looked down in the atty and the screen was melted an folded up on one side a n there was this flat disc shaped thing that I guess is the guard over the heater. I took a mechanical pencil and fished out the melted parts and it vaped right up, I vaped on it for the next few hours until we got back to the motel and I changed to a new atty!

I bought a Multi-Pack of 901 batts from Totally Wicked that were the s hits. Three of the five quit within two weeks, they lost my business and recommendations. I'm all about AwesomeVapor.com and VaprLife.com now, they know how to treat customers the first time and the products are great!

Neme this tune, it is exactly how I feel! Gee but it's great to be back home Home is where I want to be. I've been on the road so long my friend, And if you came along I know you couldn't disagree. It's the same old story Everywhere I go, I get slandered, Libeled, I hear words I never heard In the Bible And I'm one step ahead of the shoe shine Two steps away from the county line Just trying to keep my customers satisfied, Satisfied.

I got caught in a whirl wind and couldn't get off. I really missed the forum these past two weeks. I came back and checked my email and had 297 new messages from VaporTalk topics! Now I'm trying to catch up, looks like the membership exploded while I was away! I's good to finally be home for more than a night! -
Is it really that big of a deal to try to save the atty? I mean, I understand getting your money's worth and then some out of a product, but when is too much effort just too much and not worth the ten bucks for a new atty? I vape a lot, I mean a whole lot, I vape 5 to 6 mil's a day. That figures out to about 200 drops when dripping into an atty. When I smoked I smoked two and a half packs a day. I was spending five grand a year on cigarettes, ten bucks a month for a new atty is a drop in the bucket. I am trying to make vaping as simple as smoking without a bunch of hassle and special equipment. I have been using the 801LB on my VP2's and just shelve them after a month when the vapor production falls off. I keep a ready supply of new attys and carry an extra with me in the battery case, just in case. If I forget to order more attys then I will use one of the old ones until Arno can get me some more.
-
I bought 5 of Arno's 801LB attys and they were like night and day from the regular atty's that came with the kit or with the VP2's. They vape like locomotives! I am am my third one, I used one for a month then the vapor production just kind of fell off and I burnt one up this weekend, melted the screen right off, it still works though! Good thing that it didn't burn a hole in the rented Tux!
-
I hear this regularly, that it takes a while to break in a new atty. I have not had this problem. I have had 510's from Totally Wicked, 901 and 801's from AwesomeVapor.com and they haven't tasted funny except for the first vape and none of them have ever vaped better after a while than when I first used them. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I am currently using the 801LB from AwesomeVapor and they vape perfectly on my VP2 from start to finish every time. I have found that they fall off in vapor production after about a month and I just shelve them and use a new one with no problem.

Reading Sinikal's diatribe reminded me of the "Oh Stewardess, I speak Jive" clip from Airplane!

This is exactly why I don't vape menthol. I never have liked mint anyway in anything. If I were to use menthol and not on a regular basis I would reserve one atty for menthol and the use a different atty for non-menthol. Just my two cents.

Happy Veteran's Day
TheSmokingMan replied to IndyColtsfan's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Thank you, all Veterans who have served this country home and abroad. My Father was a WWII Vet and a Korean War Vet and my Big Brother is a Vietnam War Vet, both Air Force. Without guys like our Veterans we would not have the ability to post on this board or choose between analogue cigarettes or e-Cigs. With the past weeks events, everyday should be veterans day! -
Have Vp1 Why Do I Need Vp2 Sell Me
TheSmokingMan replied to warthog's topic in General Vaping Discussion
It's been three weeks on this set of batteries for the VP2 and they are still going strong. I'm getting 8 to 9 hours of use out of them. I always have a charged battery with me just in case and an extra atty. But so far no problems, I'm loving this thing! It's all I use now! -
I have always covered it for about half of the hit and then released it, so the atty didn't get too hot, like Chris said.

I've got an idea, why don't we let Keenan write a song about Vapor Talk and perform it on the show? He could fly out to California and perform it live on the show with Chris and Sean!
