i got a 510 kit as a gift for a friend from AV last week. ordered on wednesday, received on saturday. prompt, and personalized service... plus free juice sample! not to mention their excellent reputation.

just thought i would update. i would highly suggest you all contact Vaprlife (or Chris if you got it from VT) if you are having issues with your VP/Spade units. they took care of my repair and were extremely helpful and responded to emails within hours, if not less. i express mailed it to them on Tuesday afternoon, they received and repaired it on Wednesday, and i had a tracking number on Thursday. it should be in my hands tomorrow. i mean... seriously.... that's service.

yeah, i know! lmfao... thanks to Christopher (VT), and Mary (Vaprlife)... and no small amount of effort from me. i don't mean to me a d-bag about it (well, actually i do), but your post comes off kind of like "i got you covered". not at all the case. Awesome Vapor and Vaprlife gained a customer, Chris solidified me as one, and you lost one (at the very least).

that was awesome! excellent video for the new people! great sound/video quality and very easy to understand. plus, i especially enjoyed watching because your story mirrors mine (2-3 packs a day for 25 years, started vaping in september after finding VT, tried everything to quit and failed, etc...). i hope to see more videos from you.

i just today received a 510 kit today, and though i didn't know or expect it, it came with no LEDs. there are just flat black caps (as opposed to the rounded clear ones) on the ends. i actually really like them, plus built in stealth vaping. plus the Spade having the option to turn the LED off... i can go stealth with either unit.

i am still waiting for my PT, but i had already planned on attaching the stand to thing heavy disk of aluminum i have (about 3/4" thick and what looks to be about the same diameter as the base of the stand). for my Spade and 510, i too have shot slasses all over for that purpose (the tall skinny double-shot type).

my daily vape is a 50/50 mix of VT Mentha & VT Cappuccino. the Grape Soda is good too. i will be ordering Choco Java soon (i'll try mixing mentha with that one too). i'm not a fan of the tobacco flavors (VT or otherwise) so i can't help you there. oh, and i got a sample of Awesome Vapor's Coffee with my last order from there. it is very good, and i have tried MANY different coffee/cappuccino juices from various sites (VT, AwesomeVapor, and E-SmokyTreats being the best... Janty being BY FAR the worst)

i'm not going to write out all the issues i have had with DietSmokes again. i did so already in the DS Supplier Forum, along with several other unhappy customers, but that thread mysteriously disappeared. then another unhappy customer thread popped up, but i assume that will be removed as well, as soon as Parked actually gets around to seeing it. so i figured i'd post here in the review forum. wrong orders, missing items, and so on... but even with all that said... the problem is not "waiting" as much as it is Parked's total lack of communication, not to mention the conflicting info (the videos all show and explain manual bats, but the product "info" states autos), missing info (basically no info at all on the warranty/return page), and prices (come on, $59 for 510's with auto bats???), oh, and being charged shipping even though the site clearly states that there is free shipping when order is over $100. "i sent Vaprlife and e-mail but they must not have gotten it", "your PT is being drop-shipped from Vaprlife, SOMEONE was supposed to e-mail you to let you know. sorry" and so on. kind of funny how in the past 10 years i have never NOT received an e-mail that was sent to me, yet e-mails went missing 2-3 times on a single order of mine? keep in mind i handled shipping for a couple years out of my home, with like 40-50 items stocked at any given time, so i understand how overwhelming it can be. but still, totally inexcusable. BS, excuses, lack of communication, misleading/conflicting/missing info... the list goes on. i too have recommended his site to several people... and hope they did not have the same experience. needless to say i will never order from DietSmokes again.

my daughter is almost 5 years old and she completely gets it. she constantly gave me a hard time for smoking (along with my now-ex-wife). when i tell her "you know daddy doesn't smoke any more, right?" and she says "i know, you smoke your fake cigarette now" and says stuff like "it's not smoke, it's steam". i can tell she knows more than i tell her, so i assume her mother has talked to her about it as well, but she clearly understands that there is a difference between smoking and vaping, and that only smoking (analogs) is "bad". but i never really had a "good/bad" conversation with her, she just seems to "know". i think the fact that she can smell the smoke and scent of an analog (and dislikes it) makes all the difference. however, when my boys (who are now two years old) get older, they will not remember ever having seen me smoke an analog, so it may be a different story.

yeah... i think i will have to order one right now... lol. [damn, stainless out of stock... ]

i got my first e-cig from ENS (and Juice. their menthol is the only other one i have found that i like, along with VT mentha) and then a couple more juice orders after that. super fast. i think i got shipping info like 1-2 hours after ordering every single time. i may be biased, as i do have a tendency to get attached to firsts (first car, first leather jacket, etc...), i now associate the end of my 25 year smoking career with ENS (and Christopher/VT, who recommended them). i just last week ordered from Awesome Vapor for the first time (getting a gift for a friend - 510 and a PCC) and the prices, personalized service, attention, and free goodies were beyond outstanding. as i said in another thread: dealing with Awesome Vapor felt less like shopping online, and more like actually physically walking into a little family run shop.

i don't know if this has been done already, but a sticky post or video somewhere with those (or other) image would be awesome. ...showing how to spot a knock off, or how one brand differs from another.

oops. double post.

as a menthol smoker i would say VT Mentha is by far the closest to "Menthol" (where as many other brands are more of a "mint"). VT is the way to go if you want to "feel" that menthol zing. Niquid - Menthol (from ElectroNicStix.com) is a close second, or even a tie... but in a different way. still, it's one of the rare juices that are more "menthol" than mint.

i have to chime in. from the day i joined VT in September (and PM-ed him for advice) to just today when he went out of his way to lend me a hand with an issue i was having... Christopher seems to consistently go above and beyond. Thanks, Chris!

i was actually just thinking of a solution for this problem. (the problem of sucking juice up through the side vents when dripping).... i was thinking i could use a mega atty with a regular blank cart (not a mega cart). does the cart still have enough meat on it (when you cut it down) to keep it in place?

you are too young to really remember, but in the late 70s and all through the 80's THAT was ALL you heard, that "humans are taking us into the next ice age". it was exactly like it is now, but the extreme opposite, lol. fear sells, but only for so long. we had to change it up a bit to get people scared again.
-
that sucks because they are sharp looking. i personally hate gold (though it has grown on me as far as e-cigs go, especially on the spade). in general, would much prefer white metal. i mean, even my wedding ring was stainless steel, lol.
-
other than this issue with the button... i f-in love the Spade. maybe one day i will actually receive my VP VT and love that too, lol.

i did. i sent the exact same post to DS's ticket system. i was mainly posting (here) to see if it was a common problem with a simple solition that i may not know about. however, i also sent a ticket in on friday and monday for a different order and have yet to receive a reply. i think Parked it punishing me for criticizing DS (in a thread that miraculously disappeared yesterday, lol). my VP PT hasn't arrived yet (and no ETA or info about it other than it is being shipped directly from Vaprlife) and now my Spade is acting up... so after several hundred dollars in orders over the past 2 weeks... i am about to me PV-less once again. kind of sucks. plus... with the weekend coming, and a blizzard in full effect, it's not looking good for me as far as getting any kind of resolution before i cave and buy a pack of smokes.
-
ok, my Spade started acting up. i've only had it for a couple weeks now, and just now the buton started sticking... i have seen other posts about sticky buttons but this was different. the LEDs only go like "half on", kind of dim and flickering, with an audible and quite pronounced buzzing. sometimes i can get them to fully light (and not buzz) if i push the button REAL HARD. the button itself - if i can explain this right - feels soft... like whatever makes the "click" is not engaging, yet the button won't fully release when i let off of it (the LEDs go out, but i can still hear the atty cooking... but wait, i haven't actually gotten to the odd part yet, lol... when i remove the atty, it (the button and LEDs) work fine! so i swapped the atty. i switched to a brand new one, still in the wrapper, that came with the Spade (Janty, not a knock off). SAME THING f-ed up LEDs, buzzing, sticky-soft button. took that atty off - all good again. i must have clicked the button 50 times and everything looks and feels good... but only with no atty on it. is there some magnetic issue that could be happening? that's kind of how it feels, like something is pulling on the button from the inside... if that makes sense. the button will be sticking and as soon as i unscrew the atty it will release (and stop buzzing). w-w-w-wtf??? by the way... all contacts are juice free and clean, fresh battery, new atty... all the common solutions have already been tried.

i have been seeing some Bauway brand stuff around lately, namely at Indy Vapor. anyone have any info on this brand? i seem to be gifting a lot of 510 kits lately to friends who i turn on to vaping... so price matters, lol. still, i don't want crap either.

i vape in school and that's how i do it!

i'd go with a Spade. an extra battery is only like $6 (giving you a total of 3 batteries), which should last you through even the longest of days. 3 days a week i am out of my house from 9am until almost 1am and i have yet to kill all three batteries ... in a single day.
