hey... how's the button? i am used to VP series buttons that have almost zero chance of being pushed my accident.

yeah, i think i will be getting a Buzz.

I have tried maybe 7 different menthol liquids. VT Mentha is hands down the best. More to the point, it's the TRUEST "Menthol" (most taste more like mint) where you can actually feel the coolness, not just taste it. i mix it pretty much 50/50 with cappuccino or coffee, and i can still "feel" the menthol (even though it's is only 50%). as a side note, if you are into a tobacco flavors (which i am NOT), Awesome Vapor's Menthol has (in their words) a "hint of tobacco". i got it as a sample once and even though i do not like tobacco flavored juice at all, i was impressed with how true to a menthol cigarette it tasted. if you are into the tobacco flavors i would highly recommend at least getting a sample.

what a shocker! no reply from Dietsmokes? lol. get used to it. i just contacted VaprLife (who makes the VP PT) directly when i had an issue with my VP PT - after getting no reply from Dietsmokes, as usual. they repaired it quickly and i never had an issue since then with it.

there was a story about this in newsweek or time a few months ago, where they had the whole chain all charted out.

i don't have an eGo, and likely never will as i hate proprietary batteries, but i do have a VP PT and LOVE it. not portable, but for home there is no better pass-through that i know of or have heard of. looking for a good new portable unit myself.

i really need to order some from there. i love coffee, and i think she has like 10 different coffee variations (plus i think you can order them all with "cream" and/or "sweetener"). pretty much everyone who posted about their juice has raved about it.

i don't mind the industrial/utilitarian design, but i do not understand the absence of a 510 fitting, they seen like hands down the most popular atty these days.

i don't know if i would go so far as to say "stooping to their level. as their "level" would be to be making something that kills you more appealing. making something more appealing, that IS more appealing that cigarettes is ok with me. that being said, it is what it is. we live in a world of advertising, and to survive in that would you have to play by the rules of the game (for the most part). plus, with the amount of misinformed d-bags speaking out against e-cigs, we definitely need something to counter that. not to be crude, but doctors have been saying cigarettes (and drugs, and alcohol, and cholesterol, and fast food, and so on) will kill you, BUT cowboys and **** are still over ruling the doctors. to think that doctors or professionals or the "greater good" will win us this fight without our own army of cowboys and ****... well, that would be a huge mistake. sorry to put it that way, but lets be realistic. unless e-cigs are perceived to be "cooler" than cigarettes (REGARDLESS OF IF THEY ARE BETTER FOR YOU)), they will remain a niche product.

i wonder if the several big mod makers will be adjusting how they make mods to make then friendly to these atties and cartos. like how they might look funny on a VP type tapered-top mod, but fit flat on a flat top type mod. it should be interesting to see what happens. a 2.5ml carto would last quite a while i would assume.

yeah, that sounds like a great flavor for easy fixing. add come coffee, cappuccino, toffee, chocolate, etc to "fix it up".

ok. now that there a few people with The Buzz units... i have a couple questions: 1. i notices the screw in the center post area of the connector. how juiced up does it get, and do you foresee any leaks or other "gunk up" type issues. 2. i am liking the convience of cartos, but i went back to atties simply because i have a spade which doesn't seem to have the juice needed for good carto performance. are any of you using cartos on the Buzz, and how do you like it? 3. i am a 510 ONLY guy, but i noticed there are cartos for other connections. this is a two-parter: i) how firm and secure is the adapter for the 510 on this unit and which one do you use (i effin' hate adapters!) ii) SPECIFICALLY for cartos that are non-510's (not atties, as i would always use 510s) which would be the more plactical connector - 901 or 801? 4. finally, it's a little bigger than i thought it would be based on the eGo/SB/Buzz photos posted here a few pages ago, it is still "pocket carry" friendly (assuming i'd have a carto with 510 adapter)? thanks!

ditto on the Awesome Vapor sample kit. they have like 36 flavors, so you can would could really get them all for not too much, considering. plus, you get a free 5ml sample with each regular size 16ml bottle you order if you want to just try one or two. i think they are having a juice sale right now as well.

yeah... i have been hearing about of Joker problems as well... to be fair... on one hand, i got both the VT PT and The Spade when they were both newer devices and BOTH has issues within a week of getting them. on the other hand, once repaired they both worked flawlessly since then (january or february). i will let others find the issues out with the Joker this time, before i get one.

i don't know where it is actually made, but... Awesome Vapor's Special Roast Coffee is amazing. i have heard people on VT praise their other juices as well. their Menthol is ok too, but it's the kind that had a bit of tobacco flavor as well (which i am not fond of). the up side of AW is you get a 3ml sample with each 16ml bottle. and in their own words - if you place each bottle in you cart separately, you get a sample with each one.
