that's cool he's offering the 510... and i like that it's stainless.. but he should offer it as a paired set with a stainless battery cap. it's gonna look silly with a brass cap on the bottom and a stainless one on top. also, is there an air hole i am not seeing?... because there are no air slots on the top of that fitting. My link it also looks ti have a sexier curvy contour where the drip-well is milled out, instead of the sharp edged well on the 901 fitting. all in all - i like! just concerned about airflow and mismatched look.

go back and check again... they have "C" and "D" models now at wordup... plastic versions of the A and B. i am not a fan of the contoured ones, so there are only so many choices when it comes to finding ones with a wide mouth and straight-walled design PS. let me know what you think of the aluminum!

Bunr, let us know what you think of the Joker AV. i have a Buzz.... but a 3.7 back up seems useless now so i may get a Joker AV so i have two units (just in case).

got mine today. i hate the black one, it's hart to see and the hole is small, the white/amethyst one is "ok" since light passes through it. they are shorter than the other metal shorty i have. all in all... they look sweet but i will likely not use them at all. i'll try to drill them out though... the shorter (but not as short as these) stainless one i got from wordup rocks (huge wide mouth).

THAT HAS GOT TO BE SOME KIND OF RECORD.... I SENT MY UNIT BACK ON THURSDAY FOR REPLACEMENT... I AM SITTING HERE ON MONDAY VAPING AWAY ON MY NEW BUZZ. with the new adapter i found, i an actually fine with getting another 901 unit back. i like the length and look of it. it's a bit long, but still fits in my front jeans pocket just fine. i guess all my bitching was for nothing. all is good and after being without it for a few days i think that maybe i simply didn't know what i had until it was gone. given the extremely fast turnaround and constant contact from NotCigs keeping me updated... i also can now say that customer service is superb as well. i am VERY happy! i am tempted to get a new AV Joker, since now i have had a Buzz...and still like the VP units. i have had to return both companies units for replacement or repair... yet am happy with both. and i also think both have amazing customer service, lol. i might just have to do a head-to-head... but in all honesty i fully expect them to both be amazing in their own way. we'll see. as of now, i am officially fan of the Buzz! awesome unit, awesome customer service! one beautiful, durable, precision weapon deserves another.

since small children lack tact... the thing i don't miss is the unabashed look of disgust on my daughter's face when i would come in room having a smoke outside. that, and basically feeling like re-fried a** all the time. add to that... dropping $60 buck a week... MINIMUM!

i like the LEDs for all the reasons listed already (they are cool, troubleshooting, battery life - i have a Buzz too - and so on), but they also notify the bartender or cop that you are not smoking a cigarette (or a little bong or pipe). i have had bartenders look over at me from way across the bar when they see the "smoke", and i hold on the PV and hit the trigger a few times to flash the LED... and they nod their head and go on about their business. i loved the "ring of light" my Spade, but now i don't because sometimes i want to cover them up without flipping the battery. it's easy to slide a finger over a single LED like the Buzz or Joker or most other mods.

i'm getting a new 901 version, he said he'd swap out the connection for a 510 when they come in. i'd rather have it back now than wait. but with the new adapter it's not really an issue. either way i will be glad to have it back. i got used to 4.5v, lol.

not a message today that they received my returned unit... about 3 minutes later i got a shipping notification for the new on. i have some excellent email exchanges with him as well. A++ customer service. i sent the unit out on thursday, so i would assume i will have a unit back by tuesday/wednesday for sure. i will re-review is for sure!

holy crap! those new ones are sweet! i haven't even received my order yet and i want more, lol. i may have to pick up an 8, 9, 10, and 17.

i am very confident that my issue was an isolated thing, otherwise i would have just asked for a refund. as i said before, button issue aside, this is a well performing unit. the adapter issue was resolved with the different style adapter i found. but since i am getting a replacement unit with a 510 fitting, this will also become a non-issue. as pissed as i was when i first got it, it was mainly because it seems every unit i have ever had has some issue right away. when i packed it up today to send it back i was seriously bummed that i would be without it. that should tell you how much i like i. ... just imagine when i get a perfect one back!

yeah, button issue aside, i really am loving this thing... i sent mine off today so i'm back the the Spade (thank god for LR atties!)... hopefully it won't take too long to get it back. i can't wait to re-review it... i know the little BS kept me from fully appreciating it, but even so, it grew on my rather quickly regardless. i am so tempted to just get another one for a back up, but i really do need a smaller back up. there are some places where i simply need a unit a can "sneak" (like school)

agreed! but just to be clear, ONLY remove the bridge on standard 510 atty, on a 3.7 unit.

i dripped from day one (i literally used a cart for like two hours and was like "eff this!") and i just got my first drip tip maybe 4 days ago. it's like a dream come true, lol.

yeah, but it's the shorty stainless, it was like $6, and it will still likely be my "standard" one. i like stainless. the only way to what i like best is to have more than one, i suppose, lol. the one i have now is also straight walled on the exterior... i might not like the curved ones. we'll see. plus, i still use my Spade with an LR at school. and i hold it in my teeth sometimes, so the plastic would be better for that one.

they need to make a few low-rent ones... that look like a pool cue from the corner bar.
