  1. Wow!!! Congrats on being an ex-smoker - you inspire us all!
  2. Stryyker good luck with helping your mom get healthy! An e-cig is the way to go - Chantix is a bad drug so steer clear. Welcome to VaporTalk ))
  3. Hey Fray, welcome to the discussion! Everyone here is very helpful and friendly so think you will enjoy the forum
  4. Congrat to you for switching to e-cigs! You will start to feel better in the first few days - With atty's I usually just blow them out really good every week or so using a paper towel over the threaded end to catch the excess juice. This seems to work well - I have had 510 atty's that have lasted months of heavy vaping this way. Good luck and welcome to the discussion
  5. Hi Fred, congrats on quitting tobacco and welcome to the discussion ))) I switched to E-cigs 6 months ago and have never looked back - I started with Blu e-cig they are small, but they are simple to use and they taste terrific! They also come with a charging case, which is very handy. I was a heavy smoker but did the trick to get me started - When I got it in the mail, I gave all my analogues away and just smoked the e-cig. It was much easier than I thought it would be! After some time you probably want to upgrade to more battery power, but while you learn more about them, and if you want a device that is simple to use, it's a good choice - Best of luck! Good luck!! ))
  6. Hi Kelly, Glad to meetcha! )))
  7. Thanks everyone! I found a vendor here in Australia that sells genuine 650 Ego kits for a good price and ordered one .. I also ordered some extra parts for the 510 as a backup - All the generic stuff stuff is going in the trash because I don't know if trying to incorporate some of this defective equipment might wreck the Ego equipment.Thank you everyone for your input - This has been a hard lesson in "cheaper is not always better" --
  8. I have been vaping 6 months and love the larger battery ego type e-cig, however the equipment is horrible quality and dies within 2-3 weeks - including the chargers and usb cables. I have gone back to a 510 which seems be the most durable and reliable model. The battery life is very short and needs to be charged alot tho, and I tend to be a heavy vaper. Can someone tell me if the genuine Egos are better quality than the generic versions, or do they all come from the same factory, therefore are the same? I am working with limited funds so I need to be careful where I spend .... Thanks everyone
  9. Great to meet you! I am new here too, everyone is so friendly ))))
  10. Thank you everyone! )))
  11. Hi all. very glad to see an active vape forum! Been vaping a little over 6 months; E-cigs have helped me quit the pack and a half per day smoking habit.-- They are phenomenal devices, unfortunately Australia is trying to ban them for reasons I can only guess. Long live the E-cig!
