TheSmokingMan said - " Just be careful not to try to light an eCig with a Bic, I almost did it several times. Chris was saying that he actually threw an eCig out the window of the car when he was finished vaping because it was just force of habit." ROFLMAO !! I didnt hear about that one ! Ive been in bed all day, trying to nurse a case of the crud, and reading that just made my day. I think its awesome, this little sub-culture we have going on here. I honestly wonder what the success rate would be if we didnt have VaporTalk to see us thru. @Jeffb - I REALLY need to send you some music files. Pina Coladas ? ! Barbra Striesand ? JK. I have no room to talk, I like Barry Manilow.

Two thumbs up Mooby !!! Awesome !

Speakeasy said "I fear mostly that I might come off as a bit of an extremist, or even a conspiracy nut job" Absolutely NOT Speakeasy. You DO , however, come off as an extreme nut job ! (jk ) (That was WAY too easy )

I dont care if this is P.C. or not, I thought it was hilarious ! merry Christmas, everyone ! It was a romantic full moon when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu." Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" , said Rosita. Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged. "But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." , replied Rosita. "Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me." Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu." Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang..... "Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year."

So that all of you know, Speakeasy and I shook hands and made up, and he was gracious enough to forgive me for my Irish tounge ! Just ANOTHER great thing about VT, we are all a classy group of Vapers. So Im a gonna get back into this one ! Kinda sorta. Probably gonna tick you off again Speak, cause as it turns out, I dont know diddly squat about the Fed, I am COMPLETELY out of touch and not qualified to discuss economics. Politics, history, presidential history, things of that nature, Im your go to guy. Economics, I know our economy is in the toilet, thats about it. I know the mint makes money, I know my wife spends money, I know I need to make more money. I do know this much, what AIG did was criminal, plain and simple. The fact that I dont know squat about economics, but I DO know they broke the law, puzzles me as to why the big wigs there arent in jail. After they BLEW our money like a kid in a candy store, we gave them MORE. AND THEY DID IT AGAIN. And theyre STILL not in jail. Which brings us to my area of expertise, wanting to drop a common sense bomb over the capitol, run all of those crooks out of Washington, and start over. I remember watching the AIG scandal on the news on a daily basis, and I was just bewildered that not only did it continue on and on, but that it somehow got pushed under the rug, and quietly went away. Thats as much as I know about economics. And, unfortunately, I think thats MORE than what the people in Washingto know. Another thing, If I had known that NOT paying my taxes would get me appointed to head the I.R.S., Ida stopped payin mine a LONG time ago. (Go easy on me here Speak, I know not of what I speak )

Congratz Tiki ! Yup, the 510 is an awesome unit, its my only ride ! Glad yer zoomin to go vape, and stop lookin at those analogs !

That was AWESOME Comp ! Kinda sucked for the mice, though. But, how can the FDA, or ANY government entity, after a study like this, how can they POSSIBLY try to tell us e cigs are bad for us, and we;d be better off with analogs. Even if they try to use the argument that children will be targeted, which they WONT, but SO WHAT. Its friggin HARMLESS, and actually beneficial. Its really starting to scare me, because the more logical it seems to ALLOW the sale of e cigs, the more Im sure the Govt. will lower the boom. Logic and legislation are NEVER used in the same sentance. Thanks again Comp, and this article is priceless for our cause.

Just noticed this location. Gonna move it to the campaign section Stu. Another good thing was you didnt eat any of that crap ! (jk ) -
Thanks Ray. Absolutely NO way I can do menthol. Never been able to handle it. If the only flavor of analogs and e cig was menthol, Id never use either.

Good Job Stu ! We can use all the help we can get. -
Hey Brian, i was a HUGE supporter of Fred Thompson, a real "FredHead". My wife and I actually met him at a gun show here in Florida, and I have pics of her talking to him and getting his autograph. I was unaware that cameras were not allowed at the event, and no one said a WORD to me as we walked in with it around my neck.I assume they thought I was a member of the media, who were there. When Fred walked in, my wife and I were in perfect position to meet him, and I started clicking away. Well, this hand reaches from behind me, grabs a hold of my camera like a storm trooper, and while hes trying to rip it out of my hands, he YELLS " NO DAMN PICTURE TAKING !, GIVE ME THAT!" I of course, aint lettin go, and yelled at him to get his hands off me. Fred, who by the way is a VERY big boy, at least 6'7" , reaches over, grabs the mans arm and sayd "back off there pardner, let this gentelman take a picture for his wife". It was one of the highlights of my life, as well as my wife. Also, on a side note, Fred looks kinda overweight in his movies and on T.V., but I was impressed, he doesnt look remotely heavy in person, and like I said, TALL man.

I remember reading somewhere that PG was used in hospitals to help prevent the spread of the flu and common colds. Now, a little background here first. I smoked for 30 odd years. I smoked A LOT. EVERY year, for as long as I can remember, I have gotten one form or another of the flu. At LEAST once every year, usually twice or more. And the seasons had nothing to do with it, I would get the "summer cold" as quick as one in the winter. I dont want to get into all the medical theories on how the flu spreads or any medical aspect of it. I just wanna keep it simple, and say I was an easy target for influenza every year, and leave it at that. Now, this year, and its December now, I have had NO symptoms whatsoever since I started vaping in September.I Do remember having like a 24 hour thing right at the beginning, but Im not sure it was the flu, and it was more of a stomach issue. Not even the sniffles. Not even allergies, another symptom I suffered like clockwork every year. I was shocked, and amazed, when a few weeks ago, as some of you may remember, EVERYONE in my house came down with a bug. A relentless strain that had everyone wishing they had never been born. You've had the flu like that, Im sure. I remember, as I was playing Clara Barton, (look her up, you youngins ), that I was SURE I would get it from everyone. Well, I didnt. My son came down with it twice. Still, I was flu free. Over Thanksgiving, we saw some family members who thoughtlessly came to dinner with the bug. Nope, didnt get it. I strongly believe, the reason is related in SOME way to my vaping. It CANT be luck, as any TRUE Irishman worth his salt will tell you, us Irish dole out the luck, we are rarely the recipients of it. (Ask any Kennedy. For all thier "good fortunes", fate has heaved a lofty blow on them over the years.) BUT, alas, the reason for my post - I woke up this morning with my throat feeling like a blacktop road in Alabama in July. My chest is congested, and Im coughing up lung oysters the size of small farm animals. Wait, thats not enough info yet. My head feels like the Hindenburg mustve felt moments before it erupted into a blazing inferno. And I have the energy of a 3 toed sloth. In a coma. On qualudes. OK, thats enough. Now, in my defense, and I believe, to the credit of vaping, its really a no brainer that Im a leeetle under the weather. Having been subjected to my house being turned into a virus storage area for 2 weeks, ALSO, as some of you know, I spent last week with my wife at the Hospital. Twice in the E.R. for 7 hours. I learned a neat little trick as well. Apparently, when you go to the e.r. if you want to be seen IMMEDIATLY as soon as you walk in the door, it helps if you have a member of law enforcement walk you in with handcuffs ! I witnessed on 3 seperate occassions, members of our society who OBVIOUSLY deserved to be seen before the rest of us who had been waiting there for 7 hours. All 3 of them. In and out. 2 with smiles on thier faces as if to say "smile, and the whole world smiles with you". Back to my point, I spent what amounted to a total of 14 hours in a relatively small, cramped waiting room, with approximately 35 to 40 people with bodily fluids exuding from orifices I didnt know could be shown in public. Then I spent 4 and a half days in the wing where my wifes room was, and let me tell you, these people were ill. No sympathy hounds there, they were genuinly sick. So the fact that I contracted what appears to be the flu, in my opinion, could not be avoided even had I chugged an industrial sized keg of PG. I really thought I might be able to go this WHOLE flu season unscathed, but Im really not disappointed, considering the perils I was subject to. That was a LOOOONG way around the barn to ask "What do you guys think ?" Youll have to forgive my rambling on, I just took my temp, its 101.3, and Im starting to see some pretty vivid what I hope are hallucenations. Im gonna go now, Elvis just walked in .......

FTjoe, you just argued effectively to change my mind on a subject I have ALWAYS firmly believed. I NEVER looked at it, or had anyone MAKE the point, that YES, you DO have a right to gripe regardless of wether you vote or not. I have to agree, if you pay your taxes, you deserve that voice. I WOULD, however, have to say you are limited to your area of griping ( for lack of a better way of putting it, my brain just aint workin today ). I think, and, JMHO here, you cant really gripe about WHO is in power, if you dont participate in the process of putting them there. There is the argument, that "my vote doesnt really matter that much". Well, maybe so, but theres an ex-Vice President in Tennesse who would argue that with about 600 of us. Put aside whether or not it was an "honest" election, when the votes were counted, Gore lost by a gnats pubic hair. Yes, I have done a complete 180 here, you DO have the right to gripe about current events. Joe, you are now in a VERY small group of people who have been able to sway my opinion on something. Sometimes, being full blooded Irish can be a curse !

Any Reviews On Rocky Mountain Vapor Equipment?
keenan replied to fatalis's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Free shipping is a big plus with me as well. wordupecig.com also has free shipping, and a LARGE variety of flavors and accessories. The owner and his wife, Jeff and Laurin, are based in Hyannis, Mass. ( Kennedy Country ). And FAST shipping. Usually free is under the "you get what you pay for" category. But free and in 2 days ? ! Hooo- ya !!! For what its worth, I have researched and used MANY suppliers, and Ive boiled it down to only 3 that I will use, JUST to make it easier for me to remember where I bought stuff. ( Ima gettin up there in the age dept. ). 1- VaporTalk , 2 - Wordup , 3 - Awesomevapor Those are my regulars, and in NO way imply that the others are inferior. Hope this helps ! Good luck Fatalis ! -
N.j. Assembly Committee Approves E-Cigarette Ban
keenan replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
"Anyway, it isn't the governments responsibility to protect children. That is the job of parents." WELL, well said, Schizo ! A HUGE problem in this country, IMHO, is the "It takes a village to raise a child" mentality. It DOESNT take a village ! It takes a PARENT. Preferably TWO Parents ! You HAVE to, you MUST ask the questions if you want to solve the problem. Why are todays youth more violent than the last generation ? - Lack of guidance and leadership. ( Guess the "VILLAGE" didnt show up to help ) Why are todays kids the MOST disrespectful generation to date ? - Lack of MORAL guidance and leadership. ( Again, Village absent ) Too many people are having children with NO regard for the responsibility that comes with the job. Kids are having kids and dumping them on Grandma or ANYBODY they can find, to take over the responsibility. How does any of this relate to e-cigs ? Its all about evolving laws and legislation. When the founding fathers wrote the second amendment, they couldnt have fathomed the average citizen might be walking around with an AK-47. In 1776 it took about a minute to LOAD a gun. Thats why today, gun control fanatics want to take away your right to own a gun. They cite the archaic value of WHEN the document was written. Well, IMHO, they are TRYING to do the same thing with tobacco, in theory. Its the "If we knew then what we know now" ideology, we must ban EVERYTHING related to the cigarette industry, everything with the word cigarette in its name, everything that rubbed up against a person who knew a dog whos owner smoked. Well, my argument to these people has ALWAYS been, and again, this is JMHO, the Constitution is NOT a list of "instructions". Its a "GUIDE" ! The founding fathers PURPOSELY wrote it to be INTERPRETED by future generations. Thats WHY there are so many gray areas in it. These were not "Joe the plumbers" of thier day. These were wise, articulate, ABOVE AVERAGE intellectuals of thier day. No disrespect to Joe the plumber intended. Thats why I dont buy the argument about the second amendment being written for militia, it doesnt put a FINGER on militia's, it mereley references them, and leaves it kinda vague, ON PURPOSE. Now, the Founding Fathers did thier jobs for COMPLETELY different reasons than our Representitives of today do. MOST members of the 13 colonies who chose to serve in Congress, DIDNT GET PAID. Many of them used thier own money to finance thier cause. Gen. Washington paid his own troops, when congress wouldnt. Its not even POSSIBLE to think of Nancy Pelosi saying, "Free Healthcare for EVERYONE, and I will pay for it because I believe in it ! " LOL !!! Todays reps are concerned about THEMSELVES, not the average Joe. If someone had gone to John Adams and said, " I'll give you 10,000 shillings a month, if you STOP this silly revolution", Adams would have spit in his face and said " Good DAY to you, sir". Because he BELIEVED in his cause. When Big Pharm approaches todays legislators with that kinda proposition, well, I think you know where Im heading with this. So, the REASON for my rambling on - mainly, I just dont know WHEN to shut up. Also, because I belive, in my opinion, in order to tackle a problem, ANY problem, you MUST start at the beginning, not the middle. How many of you out there, SERIOUSLY, have EVER asked yourself when a problem arose, "Gee, what would Dad have done ?". ( Or Mom ). Well, WHY have we stopped asking " What would Jefferson have done ? . Or Adams. Or Washington. Or Button Gwinnett. Yes, Button Gwinett, one of the signers of the Declaration. How did a guy with a name like that fall through the cracks of history ? What would THEY say about the tobacco and e-cig issue ? Healthcare ? Taxes ? Food for thought, huh. I have my thories, but tell me yours first. THIS will be interesting. -
OK, I have a 510 passthrough, and for the LIFE of me I cant remember where I got it. It was either rockymountain or wordup or vaporkings. Ive had it about 2 months, leave it plugged in 24/7, and vape the heck on it all day. Ihave never had a problem with it, and it gives a nice, strong , smooth vape. I direct drip ONLY on the USB unit, and refill carts with my "wireless" batts. I guess Im lucky, and I probably just jinxed myself.
-
I use a 510 and Im not sure what you mean by "strings". If youre talking about the bridge, Im pretty sure those strings are supposed to be solid. Anyway, if this is a new atty, you may be experiencing the break in period. It also my be a clash of flavors from the last flavor you used with that atty. And another reason may be, you just dont like strawberry e juice.

Okay, what part of "Secret" am I misunderstanding ? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12/11/cia-cancels-secret-contract-blackwater/

You have to be old enough to remember Abbott and Costello, and too old to REALLY understand computers, to fully appreciate this. For those of us who sometimes get flustered by our computers, please read on... If Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were alive today, their infamous sketch, 'Who's on First?' might have turned out something like this: COSTELLO CALLS TO BUY A COMPUTER FROM ABBOTT ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you? COSTELLO: Thanks I'm setting up an office in my den and I'm thinking about buying a computer. ABBOTT: Mac? COSTELLO: No, the name's Lou. ABBOTT: Your computer? COSTELLO: I don't own a computer. I want to buy one. ABBOTT: Mac? COSTELLO: I told you, my name's Lou. ABBOTT: What about Windows? COSTELLO: Why? Will it get stuffy in here? ABBOTT: Do you want a computer with Windows? COSTELLO: I don't know. What will I see when I look at the windows? ABBOTT: Wallpaper. COSTELLO: Never mind the windows. I need a computer and software. ABBOTT: Software for Windows? COSTELLO: No. On the computer! I need something I can use to write proposals, track expenses and run my business. What do you have? ABBOTT: Office. COSTELLO: Yeah, for my office. Can you recommend anything? ABBOTT: I just did. COSTELLO: You just did what? ABBOTT: Recommend something. COSTELLO: You recommended something? ABBOTT: Yes. COSTELLO: For my office? ABBOTT: Yes. COSTELLO: OK, what did you recommend for my office? ABBOTT: Office. COSTELLO: Yes, for my office! ABBOTT: I recommend Office with Windows. COSTELLO: I already have an office with windows! OK, let's just say I'm sitting at my computer and I want to type a proposal. What do I need? ABBOTT: Word. COSTELLO: What word? ABBOTT: Word in Office. COSTELLO: The only word in office is office. ABBOTT: The Word in Office for Windows. COSTELLO: Which word in office for windows? ABBOTT: The Word you get when you click the blue 'W'. COSTELLO: I'm going to click your blue 'w' if you don't start with some straight answers. What about financial bookkeeping? You have anything I can track my money with? ABBOTT: Money. COSTELLO: That's right. What do you have? ABBOTT: Money. COSTELLO: I need money to track my money? ABBOTT: It comes bundled with your computer. COSTELLO: What's bundled with my computer? ABBOTT: Money. COSTELLO: Money comes with my computer? ABBOTT: Yes. No extra charge. COSTELLO: I get a bundle of money with my computer? How much? ABBOTT: One copy. COSTELLO: Isn't it illegal to copy money? ABBOTT: Microsoft gave us a license to copy Money. COSTELLO: They can give you a license to copy money? ABBOTT: Why not? THEY OWN IT! (A few days later) ABBOTT: Super Duper computer store. Can I help you? COSTELLO: How do I turn my computer off? ABBOTT: Click on 'START'..............
