LOL Jodie, That is a predicament (too much juice). E-liquid should stay good for 2 years when stored in a cool (not cold) dark place. The nicotene is what degrades over time.

Before you send it back, You might want to try to pull out the center pin (gently). Sometimes it doesn't make good contact.
