Thanx - that was my thought process that as long as the voltage is right, I should get a longer time before recharging.

Okay - two weeks and a day without a cig. I was curious today at a tailgate today if I would get the old buzz from a butt after not smoking one for a week so I tried one. Actually it was my brand as well and as soon as it hit my mouth, I thought I had just licked an ashtray. Never even got into my lungs. Anyone else experience that? I actually tried someone else's to see if it happened again, Marlboro ultra lights. Same thing, absolutely disgusting. I guess I'm done with cigarettes. I have to think it tasted the same when I first started so I have no idea how I got past that, but 33 years ago I guess I did.

I have to say, two (maybe three) drips on the 510 atty and that was a cigarette for me. Now I have a Janty stick and it goes on and on, so it is tough to figure out when I've had enough. At work there's no issue, break every 1-1.5 hours and five minutes vaping. When I'm home though, it's tough.

They any good? I don't mean to be obnoxious, just never really had them on my radar. So I'm wondering if it's no surprise the batteries are iffy.
-
What type of e-cig (may I ask?).
-
Ooops - sorry. I was being sarcastic about my experimenting with nicotine charged juice. I'm guessing I'll be overdosing soon. No trip to the hospital for me (as far as I know). Three weeks for your friend? yikes!!! I hope everything's cool post hospital for him.

Funny you should mention the taste. One I'm working on is tasting funny but now I have to wonder, is it because I'm hitting it too often (not really inhaling as I wanted to use my new Janty Stick for smoking). I have to say it is working much better so I'll work them out and see. I really need no nic juice for testing. I'll be checking into rehab or the hospital soon. Love these things, tomorrow is one week without a cigarette. Do I have to call it an analogue?

This thing is awesome. So I guess my 510 (7 attys and 5 batts) will be a backup or for the wife to take out when she's tipping a few. Went most of the day and I'm charging it which means I don't know yet how long the battery will last for me.

Janty says they don't know if the 500mah batteries will work. Should be no problem but now I have to think about it. I got the Janty stick, it is cool, still going strong way after my 501 would have quit. Maybe I don't need the higher capacity battery? I have to say it's tough to direct drip but I'm using the supplied cartridge and dripping/topping off. Unfortunately the supplied were RY4 so even though I got most of the fluid out and replaced with menthol, still a weird taste. It also seems like I need to puff a few times, then long slow pull to get good vapor. Loving it so far. Better for on the go in my opinion than the 510. Still struggling with how I'm going to travel. Have all my bags and cases, working through it. But that's another thread of mine I will update.

Do some of the attys have to be broken in more than others? Maybe I need to do something special at first? I have gotten 7 attys so far and 3 work great. Four seem to puff but don't hit as well, little vapor gets exhaled. One I think I burned out so I'll take the hit on that but what's up with the others though? I usually make sure they are soaked by using a pre-filled cart until they start puffing but that didn't seem to help with these. Thoughts? I don't want to name the place I bought from in case I'm it's something I'm doing.

I love the VaporTalk Mentha, Got three more bottles while on sale, one a lower strength for when I try to kick the nicotine habit. I tried some Janty Polar Mint from DietSmokes, it's good, but more like gum in your mouth. I'm going to give awesomevapor menthol a try.

***california Ecig Ban - Updated Version****
FTJoe replied to Christopher's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
Crap!!!! Stockpiling. I will email later. I saw a petition floating around as well in regards to the FDA chucklheads. I'm in NJ by the way but have no doubt they will move this along. -
Thanx for the info, I'll contact Janty in regards to the batteries...

I ordered the Janty Stick mostly for the battery life. Now I have the never ending "list" of questions: 1) 801 carts, right? 2) Batteries are listed as 360mah. I assume if they are 10440 I can get the 500mah on dealextreme? Any other recs to pick up batteries? 3) Should I try a different atomizor? Anyone have a rec on that? I see lots of folks using the 901 but I guess I would need an adapter.

I have new attys coming and two are here already. Do I need to do something special to them first? Should I use the cart filler juiced up for a while or just direct drip them and go?
-
Thanx for the feedback, Guess it would have been stupid to buy a Dura. ;-) I was confused because on Dietsmokes I didn't readily see the stick but I didn't realize I had to page forward. Looks like the batteries are pretty available as well in case I want to get a few to keep charged. If I pick one up I'll post my thoughts here. Thanx again.

I could have continued this in another thread but thought it best to start a new one, apologies if this is frowned upon. I want to try a starter kit for either a Janty or 801. I currently have the 510, in fact I have more batteries and atomizers coming but wanted to try something new as well. I've read the other two threads on the subject and I'm curious how much better/different they are (janty and 801). I'll take any opinions on which is better, but my real question is are all the Jantys the same or is there a difference between the Dura, Kissbox, etc. I was leaning towards the Dura but that doesn't seem to be available in the places I've looked. Wondering if the kissbox just simply replaced it?

Good luck to you. I'm on day three, no probs so far.

I'm hoping, that would make things much easier. I'll post back pics with items in them for size comparisons once I have everything.

Okay - someone has to stop me, I ordered more batteries, more attys, more liquids, four different style cases. Bottom line is I haven't smoked a cigarette in more than a day and that is huge. I keep comparing what I'm buying to what I'm saving and it doesn't even come close. $50 is 7 packs, is a week (at best) but more like four to five days if you throw in a drinking weekend. Still psyched, though I have to stick to my regular routine of waiting for an hour or so, then walking outside and "smoking", else I'm going to OD on nicotine. I also don't want to create my sig line with the "haven't smoked in x days" for fear of jinxing this. Direct dripping is still the way to go though I had a "decent" experience with "tea bag" carts. Here are the cases I've ordered in case anyone cares. http://www.americarx.com/Products/3025.html http://www.americarx.com/Products/2891.html http://truesmoker.myshopify.com/products/pro-netted-e-cig-carrying-case http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HDJT4S/ref=ox_ya_oh_product and compressed air for general cleaning of this annoying oil.

That might be perfect, at least for around the office. I'll still work on finding something suitable for "on the go". Thinking of cigarette cases I've seen with a spot for a lighter (bottle). I'm going to give that one a try in the meantime. Appreciate it. I'm not sure of the rules against posting links to other forums, but if you google "e-cig carrying case" there's a discussion on the subject in another forum and quite a few hits on stuff for sale. I was more interested in the items such as manicure cases, tool cases, hard cases, etc. as possibilities. Going to see what Lowes has when I go there later. I'm going to go through the thread now to see people have used.
-
Will try it just for giggles. If it works, I figure I'll work my other ones once in a while to condition them and keep them fresh.
-
Thanx but I have to say until I figure out how to control the oil that seems to be everywhere, nothing is going in my pocket. That's why I'm looking for a case of some kind, hold several entire assembled e-cigs, or maybe just five atomizers with a tip on each so I don't have to drip too often while on the go. I'm going to cut open one of the tips to see how those channels are set up with what looks like two breathers near the end. I'm wondering if I can just load some fiber down near the bottom to prevent the oil from coming through to the outside of the cart itself. Every time I take one off I can see it just coming out of the cart through the little slits. So I think I burned one atomizer out. What are the tips to rejuvenate? I don't think it will work as I believe I toasted it by accidentally having the button depressed for quite a while so it's probably dead.
