Congrats, hopefully I caught it in time as well. Started sleeping sitting up a little as it was the only way not to start a coughing fit.

So you're dripping okay with the janty stick? I'll probably start a new thread but I've tried everything. I drip fine with 510s, not the stick though.

I'm having more issues these days with taste. My best atty is not so good, great plumes, but a bad taste after 10 minutes or so from refilling the cart. Tried another atty, not as good but okay. Now it seems like I'm really going trough the juice quick (using a blank cart). Only good for about 10-20 mins and then the burnt taste and it appears empty. I've had the best luck with pre-filled and then topping off but they have nicotine and I want to cut down on that. I'd direct drip my Janty Stick but that hasn't even come close to working well, almost no smoke at all. I may open a separate thread just on that.

Thanx - we lost the black and tan (8 years old) suddenly two few months ago, I really hate that part of owning a pet. White one is three and a sweetheart. That's the remnants of a Roger Vick jersey they're chewing on...my kids have a sick sense of humor. Apologies for the off topic post.

Did you get the cleaner? Any luck? I had ordered more 801 atomizers for my Janty Stick but they are all substandard to the one that came with it. But now I'm getting a burnt/harsh/icky taste even a few minutes after reloading with juice. I should have a few more atomizers (low and regular) coming from awesomevapor, but I really want to know how to clean these to keep the good attys going. I tried soaking it in grain alcohol, and that helped for a little bit it seemed, now right back to icky (and yes icky is a technical term). Guess I'll try the boiling trick and see how that does, but the ultrasonic seemed like a good idea. Might just invest the whole $20 for it sight unseen!!! My atty would be an excellent test case.

I'm a menthol smoker as well (Marlboro menthol). I don't know what Capris taste like, but I've definitely liked the VT and Janty (janty is almost like candy) menthol flavors obtained from DietSmokes, haven't decided if the belowzero was good or just nice. Awesomevapor was nice, VaporKings was okay. I have a batch coming in (three different varieties of Menthol from Wordup) so I'll let you know how they are, strong, sweet, etc. Problem is, good for one person is horrible for the next so above is a list of possibilities. I'd try a capri for you to see what it's like but it would just taste like an ashtray to me at this point in time, I can never go back to analogues. I hear good things about wicked but they didn't offer any zero nicotine which is where I want to be in a few months.

Congratulations. I'm almost six weeks. I started with a 510 because my brother showed me the one he had and it was interesting but I did the research first. I almost gave up because of atty and cartridge problems with my 510 but these guys on these boards saved me. I've graduated to the Janty Stick with a 510 backup but now I'm jealous because I've been eyeing the VP models. I will probably ask for one for Christmas. I ended up with so many 510 accessories batteries and attys so I've been lending them to folks to try. One is trying for the first time, one had one of the piece of crap cigarette looking ones that quit. She was giving up when she tried my 510. Now she has a janty stick as well. FYI - I've been having poor luck with attys, should have a bunch of 801s from awesomevapor tomorrow or Saturday. Anyway, welcome and congratulations. I don't want to be a bad influence, but when you're hanging out with smokers, try a regular cigarette. I did, it was gross!!!! I know now it would take a complete failure and a deserted island to make me go back. It's a good feeling. Just be prepared to drink alot of water to get rid of the foul taste.

Okay - since no one is going to ask, and this is my thread, and I assume we are all adults here...how would you know what *** tastes like? Just kidding, I'm sure it was just an expression, and if not I'm sure I don't want to know!!! ;-)

Actually looks like it's no problem picking up in the big liquor stores in NJ at least...about $18 for 750ml. Now I just have to restrain myself from vaping alcohol. Edit to add I believe if you are in NY state, you are out of luck, someone just told me that.

I see it at winechateau.com. of course it must be NJ based as I would have to pax 7% sales tax. I'll give it a whirl and report back.

I have to say I like the Johnson Creek Menthol. Little flavor in there that hints of tobacco. But it's so thin, no wonder people get numbness, I'm sure droplets are being pulled in. Throat hit not that great either. So I think I'll have to retire this especially in light of the atty killing complaints.

He's actually got it. I now realize he has separate categories to push out the below zero product. One is janty NoN for below zero and there it was. Trying the below zero as well...

I didn't know below zero from a hole in the wall and Janty NoN in menthol is not available. I'll try some belowzero from dietsmokes and email belowzero to kill the order. Thanx again.

Picking up some regular flavor NoN items as well for my friends who are interested as well. Social smokers who really don't need the nicotine, I have plenty of blank carts but they'll have to put up with the menthol leftovers on my attys. Still interested in a safe place to buy menthol flavorings to mix my own. I also want to try VG once I kick the nic. My sinuses are crud (not that they were that good when I used cigs) and I wonder if it's a reaction or just allergies going into the fall.

So where does one get everclear? I'm in NJ, is it not possible? If not, substitutions?

I'm a menthol smoker. My goal is to go to no nicotine but continue vaping as needed to satisfy the mental addiction. I have ALOT of bottles of different juices, but the issue is being able to cut down the nicotine. I've basically but that to 12-18 but would like to go lower. I'm spending far too much time on the internet now trying to locate what I hope are high quality low and zero nicotine juices. They just don't seem to be available in menthol. VaporTalk, Janty, Wicked, Vapor Kings,Awesome Vapor, the only real luck I had was Johnson Creek and now I'm reading they might be killing atomizers. Anyway, because I'm also "thrifty", I'd like to mix with already bought juices to cut them. Figured I'd look at mixing my own, but seems like wicked doesn't carry menthol and not sure I want to get that at any random site. Any advice?

Don't be surprised if Pharma is behind the e-cig bans as well as the Tobacco companies. E-cigs are a direct competition to their NRTs and drug therapies, nicorette, welbutrin, etc.

Four 510 duds, two suppliers, the fifth is my fault. I was carrying the 510 around loose and the switch was depressed for quite a while.

I was having problems with my 510 attys, only three out of 8 work really good. I got a Janty stick for the battery, love it and the atty that came with it is excellent. Not being completely stupid I stocked up on more 801 attys from two different suppliers. I am seriously having problems getting smoke out of these. Is there a "break in" a way to get them going? I'm dripping (thank heaven I have the 0 mg now). Any advice would be appreciated. If I figure something out I will post back. Also, apologies for using the noob area, I figure I still am.

I was Marlboro Menthol Lights. I've been vaping for 2.5 weeks. I started at 24 mg but maybe I should have started lower. My biggest addiction is the mental, though I do get antsy after an hour or two from lack of nicotine. My goal is to get to zero and maybe I live with the mental addiction forever. Bars, parties gatherings with alcohol I plan on having this with me. I've gone from 24 to a mix of 24 and 18. No probs so far, just watch out for simply increasing your vaping to make up for it. I really try to stick to a "cigarette" worth of smoking and stopping. I have a party this weekend and I'm going packing with 0mg and my mix. Fresh cartridge in my stick and I want to see if I even start getting weird without the nicotine. I bet I don't. The problem with alcohol is I chain smoke (mental addiction). So if I get withdrawal symptoms, I'll drip some mix with nicotine and try it again. I figure each week I'll cut down the nicotine and try to get to 0. I'm trying all sorts of flavors, vaportalk mentha is my staple. Janty polar mint is a dessert like treat, I like awesomevapor menthol and just tried wet your stick, all very nice but slightly different. Hope this helps, good luck to you.
