  1. I have to say I've wanted to quit, it's just that the pull was stronger than the desire. These aids help in giving a little more assistance if they reduce the pull. Best I ever did before my e-cig was my first dose of welbutrin. It stopped the queues like lighting a quick one before going into work, etc. Second time I tried it was no good.
  2. I know two people that had it done one worked, other not. I tried acupuncture, seemed to work but I was smoking again in no time. I did a quick search but really only found sites offering. Not a lot of news articles on it.
  3. Well so far so good with the three methods of cleaning. I have a funny feeling I really only needed to boil but since I have the everclear, I'll probably do that then boil. Attys seem pretty good but time will tell. The one I was using today was getting clogged up so now I'm wondering if it's the Johnson Creek or Vermont Vapor juice. I'm going back to just Janty and VT Juice to see if that helps, then I'll introduce one of the suspects and see how that goes. Also, I put the attys in a wooden spoon to prevent them from touching the bottom of the pan. Didn't think it would be good to have them absorb the heat from the pan which would be more than the temp of the water. I'd use just VT juice but I'm averaging less than 10mg now as I cut down the nic and the lowest I have from VT is 16mg and 24mg. I long for the day when the store is open and has 0 nic available (hint).
  4. LOL - you really don't have to explain, sounds like you have it all together.
  5. Ya think? It's the old dog training question...who's training who? LOL. As long as you're not building up resentment, I say to each their own though the boys might be in for a little real world shock eventually. I personally wouldn't let my wife near my mower. Years ago she was on it, hit a root, blades bent, shaft bent, deck ripped through one side, I always told her if she didn't want to cut the lawn, she could have just said so.
  6. I just can't believe with all the folks that buy JC, there is really an issue with attys. Maybe they are like me and are doing something critically wrong and just don't know what. Or maybe it's using JC juice???? Sorry about the customer service issues, that should never happen. I just happen to like the taste of the JC juice, they have something weird in there that is nice and mellow. I use about 3/8 JC, 3/8 vg vermont both 9mg and the rest (1/4) of VT mentha 16mg. Anyway, I just got done with my experiments. Boiled one, evercleared one, and evercleared and boiled another. The two that went through everclear seemed clogged, the one I just boiled was tasting cruddy. I have a new lowbridge 801 atty in my janty stick and I'm making sure I drip often making sure I never go "low" and get the burnt taste. I'm thinking maybe that's what I'm doing wrong, kind of burning it when I go low on juice and killing it?
  7. Lowbridge 801s from awesome vapor for the Janty Stick...by the way, I did have a 510 and had lots of problems with the attys which is amazing that you remember that, but I switched to a janty stick for the battery. Thinking my xmas present from the SO will be the VP2 but I need to figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong. I have empty carts so I may try that again as well.
  8. I just had a nice lowbridge clog up after a day. Two gone in three days. So I figure it has to be something I'm doing wrong or something I'm using. I am using a mix of Johnson Creek menthol reduced PG 0mg, some Vermont Vapor VG mint 0mg and some Vapor Talk mentha 16mg to keep a little nicotine and PG in the mix. I'm dripping without a cart, I prime them pretty good and everything seems great. One issue I have is I will take hits here and there and once in a while I notice a little tinge of nastiness so I figure I need to add more juice. Have I just damaged it a little at that point in time? I love the taste of the JC juice but I've also seen there are many who believe they kill attys? Maybe it's all the VG juice? When things seems too juicy I'll also blow them out from the battery end and run a napkin down the tube to get the juice out, issue? Any thoughts? I guess I shouldn't have posted they were dead...just messed up. I'm going to take the three weird attys and try boiling one, everclear the other and everclear and boil the third one. One seems clogged, two taste funky unless I load with juice.
  9. I didn't want to quote the entire piece, but left the last part, ha ha ha. I have a rant somewhere on the forums. We all know nicotine is bad, I want to quit it. Here's the plan (my plan). Vape vape vape, but down from 24mg (probably started too high), to under 10 right now. I think on our next vacation, I'll go to zero but still vaping the entire time. Once the 6-12 days has passed that I've quit the physical addiction, I'll start on the mental addiction, the really tough one. This is where people lose it, stop smoking for years, go to a party, middle of a divorce, bum a butt and BANG, addicted again. But now I need to commit to not vaping. Should I fail and still need to do it? Ooops, no nic and vaping once in a while. So sad, too bad. Best article I read from a health professional on this pointed out the act of smoking is, by definition, to breath in burning material. Most would agree that is a bad thing. Vaping what amounts to fog machine stuff while not proven to be safe, has to be safer than inhaling burning matter. That is my opinion. So I fully intend to have my 0mg juice and an ecig on me at all times. Go to a party, have a good time, vape and not even think about it the next day because I will not be addicted to nicotine. It is the act of quitting nic, then taking a cigarette which has the addictive drug nicotine in it, that causes people to "fail". The way to not fall into that trap is to vape with 0mg.
  10. Okay - now I can't change my avatar!!!! I save and my old one comes back!!!! Aaaarrrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh. Ummm - nevermind. Apparently you just have to trust it. I kept seeing the old one, now I see the new one. Takes a minute.
  11. Good or bad? ha ha ha - nevermind, just googled. OMG, she gets better and better...clicky the link for images... http://images.google.com/images?q=milla+jovovich+maxim&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=1HbzSqr1D4ul8AbFnuTjAQ&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CBIQsAQwAA
  12. Okay - you guys are good. I just see her and think (ala the fifth element)...perfect!
  13. This still going on, here is one of my absolute favs, I used the face only shot but it should be obvious.
  14. Hahaha- glad to see I wasn't the only one with this issue. "Why won't this thing come out!!!! They usually come right out @!#$!"
  15. I just don't see the difference between a natural born and someone who has citizenship for 40 years. I don't care if they moved here as long as they were raised here for a decent period of time. Bottom line is for the most part kids learn their ideology and morals from their parents. Does it really matter where they give birth to the child?
  16. I totally believe we actually are. But unlike Arnold, the records are a little sketchy for the current pres. Innocent until proven guilty, it is the American way.
  17. I'm not sure anyone knows if one is really better than the other. I just wanted to see if the allergy symptoms calmed down.
  18. I wish - I have the worst luck...see cleaning atty thread http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/1891-just-resurrected-3-dead-cold-atomizers/page__st__8
  19. No way that's real. I have to say, I'm on the east coast and only know Arnold from his pictures. But I've always respected what he had to say when I've heard him speak, admired his story of how he got where he is, couldn't believe he married Maria (kind of like royalty from England in the old days marrying the royalty of France) and always wondered if we got rid of the natural born requirement, how he would be as a president. That rule is so old. So if that's real, he IS my hero, especially as it's a line from the first Terminator film (he didn't have too many lines). I'll be back is obviously the other.
  20. Yeah - my kids thought it was the funniest one I have. I think its a fake, but I don't care.
  21. Maybe it's my lack of knowledge. But I notice they call the Janty Stick the Joye Stick (pretty sure that's not right)? It is a cheap price though. I was going to give recs, but so many options. I love the PCC for on the go. My choice these days is wordupecig or awesomevapor. My 510 I first bought here, no complaints. http://www.cignot.com
  22. I have to say - I seem to go in waves of success and failure with attys. I had six, 2 lowbridge and 2 regular from awesome, Janty Stick, 801s. 2 from wordup. The fist lowbridge was great for a week. So I posted here about cleaning because got a little funky and I boiled it. While playing around, I realized both the regular attys from awesome just weren't breaking in very well. Boiled them as well. Ones from wordup are going pretty good. I boiled the attys, the funky lowbridge and the two new ones not working well. After all is said and done, lowbridge still funky, two regular still not working and I threw them out, and new lowbridge not so good. Using the wordup ones but ordered 4 more lowbridges from awesome. Dripping so I understand when it runs out, will be burnt tasting. Even one of the wordups isn't toking very well if too much juice is in there. I know I'm still new at this, but this is weird. Same scene weeks ago with my 510 attys. And yes, I may have had a few drinks going into this post so excuse the grammer. Arrrrggghhhh. I have to add...I have this great mixture going. Part JC reduced PG menthol, part VermontVapor ChocoMint, part VaporTalk mentha for the nicotine. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm.
  23. My two cents is we all know nicotine is not good for you so if you can reduce the intake, preferably to zero, you should. Just a random public service message, not an opinion on those who still ingest nicotine (such as myself).
  24. I figure'd I'd add to this but start with a question. I'm going to try boiling. I have two problems. I got two lowbridge and two regular attys from Awesome. Also two from wordup. The one lowbridge I was using was great, but now after a week or so, starting to get a little funky unless it's freshly wet. The other two regular attys don't seem to be very productive so I'm going to boil those with the lowbridge. Is this normal, am I going to hurt them at all or should I just try to break them in more. The two from wordup seem fine and the other lowbridge is pretty good and I think just needs another few minutes of break-in. I also have everclear so was thinking of trying that first...thoughts?
  25. Nice choice, need that outfit from Underworld..
