  1. Was the first batch VG as opposed to PG? VG has more vapor but I've had lots of VaporTalk juices and no problems with vapor on a 510 or 810 (Janty Stick). Maybe you should get some more Liquid Express until you/we figure it out. Is the battery okay, there's a dropoff on a battery, so I always like to charge mine but if you are saying the Liquid Express is way better than the VaporTalk on the same battery, not sure what it is.
  2. What supplier did you get it from? And they make a PG, I thought rath was VG only? Can you post back on what else you got and how it tastes? I'm very interested in the Rath juices (not sure why).
  3. I responded in another thread... http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/4223-bad-thing-about-vaping/page__view__findpost__p__36526
  4. My advice would be to buy a 510 kit. This way you have a backup immediately with multiple batteries, attys, and if you don't get a PCC, get something else to charge the battery as well. Later on, these can be your backups as you invest in a mod. If you get a mod and have an issue, you'll be back on analogues while you wait. This is not the worst thing in the world, but many people feel a profound sense of sadness/failure when this happens. I tried a cig two weeks after quitting and it was so gross, I ordered more equipment the next day.
  5. ????????? I ordered something 3 weeks ago, here was the tracking info... 6. Hi Adam - I see this is mostly answered, but I just click top right after signing in, choose my profile and then on the left you can click on "Find Topics" to see all the threads (discussions) you started, or click on "Find Posts" to find every post you've written.
  7. Hmmmm - still down. Just looking for something to break up the monotony and I'm actually trying to force myself to vape more. I think it's one of the reasons I just can't drop the weight I need to (about 10-15 lbs). If they have 0mg I'll give them a try but I thought I saw good things being written about Mrs. T and Rath juice.
  8. yay - you will have tons of questions and probably some issues, just keep at it. Like I tell everyone, if you fade back or supplement until you get comfortable so be it. One less cig is good, anything after that a bonus.
  9. Have you tried the VaporTalk store Migdnight, dawn, dulcis?
  10. Please stop describing it, I hate that taste!! ;-) So if you're down to your last atty, my point was you better be getting more. Don't get me going on backups, I think I have about 30+ attys, some on loan/given away but a bunch on hand. I wait for the sales and buy them up. I would also suggest cleaning the atty as I have heard people have had success bringing them back that way. But if its your last atty, not sure you want to do that until you get some more. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/gallery/image/298-ftjoe-collectionsmalljpg/
  11. The concern is I think they put a chemical in it to dissuade folks from huffing. Now that chemical is on your atty and you are burning and inhaling it. Probably not a big deal, just don't know.
  12. I need recs for the 0mg Rath juice which I'm going to try. So far in my cart I have Menthol, grape and root beer soda, and mocha mint coffee. Any others I should plop in to the old cart? Also, what's up with Ms. T? Any good?
  13. Get more 5 packs, not a bad deal at $21 (I think) to get some variety.
  14. Shouldn't be a metallic taste at least at first. I get my gold band attys from Totally Wicked. There are 7.5% discounts floating around. They are a tad expensive, but if you by 5, they're $40. But, if you buy five, they won't warranty them. I believe you can get the gold bands from dietsmokes as well. Search gold band and you'll find a discussion on the gold band attys.
  15. I guess in my quick read I didn't get it, how is that?
  16. Did you break into my stash of cranky pills? ;-)
  17. Cool - I always tell folks if you do one less that's good. Anything after that is a bonus. Goal is no analogues, but make sure you don't commit to too much and therefore let your self down and give up/restart the destructive behavior. Let the process work you, you'll find you're down to little or none in no time (though four sounds pretty close to none anyway).
  18. Can't enjoy any of the VT ones except for my staple (Mentha) cause of my 0 nic issues. Only other one I regularly vape is 0mg Cappuccino from Janty. I tried a little VaporTalk grape soda I keep for other folks, man what a raw throat hit at 6mg. Tasted good but I need recs for the 0mg Rath juice which I'm going to try. So far in my cart I have Menthol, grape and root beer soda, and mocha mint coffee. Any others I should plop in to the old cart?
  19. I would get it checked out. Did you do a search? There is much discussion in the "other" forum. http://www.google.com/search?q=bleeding+gums+electronic+cigarette&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
  20. I think Avast is a good one. I use Avira but more because you don't have to go through the registration process you do with Avast so I can just plop it on someone's machine and be done with it. I used to love AVG, then it became a pig. There was one scanner you had to know to disable and then disable the warning it was disabled. On a new machine it's okay, but most of my friends have old machines I like to keep going as long as there are no hardware issues. I don't let anything run real time but again because I deal with older machines and believe the slowdown is not worth it. So I would turn off the option to start SAS with Windows. Just make sure there's an anti-virus (just one) and a firewall. With XP Service pack 3 and later, the windows firewall is okay as long as you're up to date on service packs. That's not to say it's good, just that it's as good as the free firewalls out there (IMHO). I never have virus issues except for once in a while, so I don't run my stuff in maintenance mode (every few weeks). But my friends do because I warn them once something gets in, it actually opens up the machine for other problems. If I sign on and see they haven't run the scanners, I get upset (but still clean it). Usually kids are the common factor for issues. Adaware was another fav I've dropped as it became a pig as well and installed itself as a service!!! I used to joke it would be better to have a trojan than adaware installed, they're better behaved. Here are the instructions I usually leave on someone's machine after installing the cleaners. I ran three scanners against your computer. If you go into the cleaners folder you'll find them. You have three scanners installed now, malwarebytes, spybot and superantispyware. You run them when you think you need to or when you're bored. Malware and super have two options, run full scans or quick, you can run quick unless you really think there is a real issue. Spybot just runs. Double click Malwarebytes: find the update tab, click it Click on the button "Check for update". They will download. When done, go back to the scanner tab. Make sure quick scan is selected and press the Scan button. Give it about 10 minutes or so, you'll get a popup saying to press "show results". Clear the message and press show results. Press remove selected, if the message says to reboot, do so (it always does). Double click SuperAntiSpyware a bug will appear in the tray, double click the bug and it should open. Click on check for updates and wait for the latest updates to be loaded. Once updated, click scan your conputer make sure quick scan is selected and press next. The scan will start, when it's done you get a little report, clear that then click next and it will clean up what it found. If it requests a reboot, do it. Double click spybot...press search for updates once its up. Double click any us site. Check all boxes. Press download. When done, exit. Now press check for problems and let it run. When done, press fix selected problems to clean. If it asks to run on a reboot, say no.
  21. Just make sure you don't make this something painful, so if you need the analogue, go for it. That's what I loved about quitting smoking, no pain/withdrawal/anxiety. My urge for the morning one just kind of went away, I'd think about it, vape, think about it, vape, and then go back to what I was doing, making coffee, etc. Of course not having cigs in the house helped, but again, I felt comfortable getting rid of them. I think the addictions/mental queues are different or different people. After a while even the thought about having the morning vape went away but probably not before I got rid of the nicotine urge buy cutting down.
  22. Everything is free. Malwarebytes does not have a real time component. Superantispyware when set up will default to running a realtime protection component. Just go into preferences and turn that off, I think if you follow the instructions on major geeks they also tell you what scanning control options to choose. I usually tell folks to run the updates and then the scanners (quick scans) every couple weeks/month (but this is usually because they have kids and get crudded up every few weeks).
  23. Too funny, I bought three of those (shipping doesn't go up so buy three) an hour ago. You better hurry, only pink and red were available when I did it. I'm guessing they will work, using mine for my hopeless family who never charges their phones.
  24. No - had to look it up, so I am just winging this. Looks like a use/sales tax? I'm just guessing cheaters will force honest people to pay more. Lots of bartering will get around the tax for some.
  25. Upping the nicotine or adding a little everclear to the mix? 510 should be fine I would think. Also, I'm a fan of the gold band attys.
