No tax at all is not possible. Do you mean switch to a use tax? Cause if you like your interstate highways, we have to pay for them somehow. Along with a standing army, the central government, whatever welfare is in place, etc? State taxes have to continue for infrastructure, unemployment, etc. If you phrase it like they pay more just because they are successful that does sound horribly unfair. ;-) But I think the original idea was more like shifting SOME of the burden from those who would feel the pinch to those who are more comfortable with it. Would we really take people that are making money who are basically at or below the poverty line and say, "you still got to cough it up"? Make no mistake, it is forced welfare payments, but I always felt those levels were indicative of ability to pay and still live comfortably. Makes some more past 50K, pay a little more on that money as well. Its how its been done but with the changes made recently in the last couple of decades, there has been a push to relieve the rich of that burden. The rich are becoming richer, the poor will become poorer. The deficit will balloon and the economy will tank. Increasing that burden back to where it was just a couple of decades ago will help tremendously. Unfortunately, with the current attitudes in Washington, even if we ever got back to a surplus, they'd piss it away n something stupid. Well now you are in to the argument about where the money needs to go. I am definitely not a lib (I know, shocking to some based on some of my arguments), but I am certainly not suggesting it be bled from the rich and "given" to the poor. Right now, the Bush tax cuts took a bunch of money out of the system, we were actually positive on the national debt at one point. Add a meltdown, scumbag bailouts of those who caused it, and we are in serious trouble. The quantitative easing that happened, and round II coming up, is going to turn us into a third world nation. We can actually stop that by doing this, and we're not even talking the 90% rate that used to be in effect a couple of decades ago (loopholes aside). And yes, the joke is "QE II, I thought that was a boat?". Its coming and it's from short sighted people who really don't care where this country ends up as long as the elite (they are hidden) are taken care of. JMHO. The GAO estimate for where we will be in a few years is shocking. Just watch, in the next year or so, you will see states falling one by one, out of money, pensions and budgets depleted. That will be the beginning of the, well not the end, but a whole new animal. And the comment about China? Not funny, they might actually own part of us if they come calling with their US treasury notes!!!

What about the 510 is not discreet? The PCC? Each battery lasts about 1-1.5 hours. Is the ego okay? I usually keep all of these things in a tube reader eyeglass case including my ego. I have 510 megas, two of those will fit in there as well. Helps with leaks as well.

First - flat tax can never happen. Forget the fact that the polis are spineless money grubbing sycophants. Too many variables. You taxing charities? Churches? Low res attys help, 1.8s and 2.0s are nice. I'm zero nic and needed something. They seem to do the trick.

Okay - when I say 510, I am referring to the battery. A 520 battery is a slightly longer one (mega 510). The reference to a 510 atty, cartridge is referring to the threads and the diameter of the atty. So a 510 fitting refers to the thread size on the atty which needs to fit the thread size on the battery. The ego battery has a 510 fitting/thread size so a 510 atty will fit on a 510/520 and an ego. 510 cartos threads will work as well, 510 carts fit in the 510 attys, you get the idea. So as far as the battery goes, the ego fast charger when plugged into a wall unit or desktop should charge it it up in about 1.5-2 hours. This is because the output of the charger, when driven by a powerful source is rated at 420-450 milliamps. The USB charger for the regular 510/520 is 150-200 milliamps. If you were to use the fast charger on the regular 510s, you will be pushing more juice into the battery than it can handle, damage, heat, etc. Using a regular charger with the ego is fine, but will take 3-4 hours to charge because its not getting as much juice pushed through it.

It will calm down once you find the sweet spot, juices and cartos/attys. I am still on the hunt for a good newport for my better half, but I've been golden for a while. I'm pretty sure I'm still saving and even if I wasn't, this is worth it to not smoke.

Hi BB - here's my standard pitch. I have to copy it somewhere so I can just paste it; but it goes like this. Cutting out even one analogue is good, more better, the goal is none, but if you need one have one here and there, go for it. This is NOT like a diet where "cheating" undoes something, takes 8 weeks to lose 15 pounds and you can undo all of that over a weekend. This is not like that and there should be no "guilt" over doing so. Many dieters end up with that guilt, turn to food because of it, and the cycle continues. This is not that. As you point out plenty of vapers still need one here and there. If you want to stop them altogether, you need to identify what it is that is causing the pull for them that isn't satisfied by vaping. Some folks keep different strengths around and pump it up when they need a cig. Does it happen around the same time of day, is the action of dripping or refilling tiresome to the point where lighting up is just easier? I see you mentioned a 510, have you tried a bigger, slightly more powerful battery like the ego/tornado? And if by any chance there are questions in regards to 0mg vaping, you can PM me. ;-) <-- winky face!!

Sounds good but don't forget the charger, did it come with two chargers? They an be had really cheap, I buy USB chargers only, and wall plugs that accept USB plugs. They also have car lighter adapters for USB plugs, etc. This way I can charge anything off a USB connection be it computer, wall, car, external emergency solar batteries I have hanging around. Many sites carry both. Also remember Ego fast charger is only for the ego and only will charge quickly off a desktop or wall plug. DO NOT use to charge a 510/520. Very nice story - but, if your attys quit, charger, etc., you okay while you wait for replacements? You gots backups? Getting rid of one cig is cool, more better, all is the goal. Bottom line is its actually okay to have one or a couple if something goes wrong. This is not a diet, its not like taking 8 weeks to lose 20 pounds only to gain half back over a weekend. Heck, 12 days without is AWESOME. So don't set yourself up for disappointment in case you slide for whatever reason. And a failure of devices, lack of juices is something you can (given the fiscal resolve) take care of before hand. GLTY!!! And congrats.

Well if it is the gold threads, the reviews bear out the issues already spoken of. Any low res carto (and that's pretty low) should be fine in the ego./riva. I prefer the 1.8 from electronicstix and 2.0s from nhaler. I think clouds have 2.5 medium res ones I kind of liked.

I wanted to add what that we are always very concerned about "recommending" something to someone especially if they are not a smoker, underage,etc. But I see some have already touched on that. So If that is the choice she makes, we are here to assist is about all I am will to commit to. And GLTY as well. I always tell folks none is the goal, but having some here and there is fine. Open up a thread on the issues you are having as well (if you want to cut down on the analogues you're still doing) and we'll try to help. Without actually recommending it, I would certainly say vaping 0mg is better than an analogue or other well known destructive actions. My point about that particular tranquilizer is if taken as directed, should not be addictive. It's really not supposed to be written for over a long period of use or for frequent/constant anxiety attacks. other means should be found then. Unfortunately many doctors will do just that, people use it and develop a tolerance for it and have to increase the dose which causes a dependency and even withdrawal symptoms. What I meant is the mechanism of the drug unlike opiates and what not is not immediately conducive to an addiction. At least that is my understanding when used "as needed" for anxiety. GLTY!!

My comment, please note the winky face. "I say get some tranqs for her (from a doctor). ;-)" Edited to add I do notice you said she was trying an analogue to see if it helped. So if she's that stressed would you rather have her smoking or taking a 0.25 xanax now and then to cope? They are physically non-addictive by the way, mental is another issue. And to your other point about a social thing, yes, it was mostly social and peer pressure. But it was an addictive substance in there that kept it going. I know plenty of non-smokers and ex-smokers that take the walk outside with their friends who are smoking. How young do you have to be to actually have to be doing something like vaping to "fit in"? if she wants a break she should take it, how about walking outside with a stick of celery or a carrot? Vaping without nicotine is in and of itself, IMO, not stress reducing. As I previously surmised, it is to a smoker because the brain associated the action with the drug. The only point of my real advice is no one is going to tell you to its safe because we don't know, to us its the lessor (hopefully) of two evils.
