I'm impressed with the magnum attys in so far as throat hit, etc goes. Was looking at a 5V mod but these might do the trick. I'm using them on my spade, but was thinking of setting up the regular 510 (or mega batts I have) for my wife with the magnum attys. I understand I may shorten the battery life but she's a weekend smoker anyway. I'm good with the spade. I was also looking at perhaps getting a PCC for the megas, or one of the new ones for the regular batteries I see that have more space so I can constantly charge to make sure she has a fresh battery. Will research the place unless anyone has experience... http://www.vaporlites.com/shop/parts_pcc.shtml So questions are: 1) Does anyone think the Magnum low resistance attys will really hurt a regular or mega 510 battery? 2) Does fluvil refill easily? I tried the blue foam cap, not the entire piece as TeriJo uses and was disappointed to learn you had to remove to refill (yucky). 3) What was the exact thing to get, 410, 420? Might just pick a box off Amazon. 3) Does the full blue foam piece fill easily? I figure since I have the caps, I can try putting two together and simulate a big piece but haven't gotten to it yet. 4) Any other thoughts? By the way, coming off the PTB as I think it was jeff or brian who jinxed me and now my ptbs are leaking (pretty much right after they said they were surprised it didn't.) ;-)

If you stumble around in here, should help...courtesy of jeffb (I actually positioned it to the mods)... http://www.ecigarette-mods.com/ecigarette_mods_database.html

If you watch the videos, which you should, I believe jm (Dr. J) details the cost. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/videos/view-163-vapor-talk-midnight/ http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/videos/view-168-indulgence-review-with-doctor-j-the-accessories/ I went through the ordering process and it looks like $15. I was hoping the titanium would be available, but now its in gold (meh). I emailed them twice asking about titanium availability and received no response. That's enough for me not to order it.

Yup - stupidly forgot to order the drip tips and too cheap to pay for shipping twice.

I guess I'll stop recommending or at least do so with a warning...

Nevermind...

I think they are supposed to be genuine Janty attys and generally speaking, very good. I would try the TW customer service route and see what they do. One thing to say if you get a dud in a multipack, you're out of luck, quite another if they are all basically duds. I tested by new low resistance ones from nhaler and they are showing 1.6-1.7 which I think is correct. Just wanted to make sure my cheapo multimeter is calibrated and working. I was going to order some more from TW but I'm kind of digging the low-resistance ones. Maybe stock those up and donate my remaining 10 or so TW attys to the missus... FYI - I bought mine during the 30% off sale, regular buying orgy it was, beginning of December I believe. So far they've all been excellent (I did have one bum mega battery (sniff).

I just tested some of mine bought a few months back, 2.3 or so. These are the gold band attys, right? I just placed the leads on the battery contacts of the atty, right? Edit to add I did it for one broken in already and one brand new...

LOL - I would have smoked it!!! Excellent Vapeape, keep on keepin' on

Wow - and I love the gold band jantys from tw...except now I'm digging the low volt atty(?) from nhaler on my spade.

Tempting Fate - Law Enforcement?

Used to be financial for me. Ticket for non-inspection was $35. I figure it would have cost me hundreds to get the car fixed up to pass inspection. No-brainer. Trick was just to scrape the failed sticker off as not all states put them in the same place. Most leos will catch the expired or fails, but they have to go the extra mile to check the plates to see what state you're registered in and then realize you're not inspected. Worked great for years (two tix) until the son of my across-the-street neighbor stopped me in town (he was an LT). Worst part he let me go when he saw where I lived. He visited his dad all the time so I had to do something, luckily found a guy who did inspections or $30...always passed. -
Just ask, I'm the only idiot who suggests the using the search function, but I'm old school. This site wants you to succeed, ask away, there are one bazillion people waiting to answer and who have been there before. I had to edit this to point out it is one bazillion, give or take (plus or minus) .34 kajillion.

Dude - you smoked me...I will still get both of them, there are no losers for stepping up!! But, not $100, you are a generous person and I'm out!! And aren't you supposed to be getting your honey to the hospital? Tomorrow my boy is 14!!! Maybe the same b'day?

Need Assistance In Choosing The Right E-Cig
FTJoe replied to Strangebear's topic in New Vapers Forum
Thanx Mark - I have to say though, guineahill was saying what I was thinking, so I'm going to give them the +1 you gave me. And you too!! Did I mention I was tipping? Not to jack the thread, but a running joke among my friends when we tip a few..."I love you man!!!!" Feeling that right now!!! -
I would say something, was it DOA, or just go quick? I love my gold bands its all I buy!!!
-
So is this a race? JM vs Fritchard? If it says VT, I'm sold...I stand here and claim I will donate juice to the both of them if they are successful!!! Okay. not standing, but the offer stands, their choice of juice BTW, not mine and to the both of them. Bonus juice if they choose VT juice!!!

So are there any zero nic cartos?
-
That was my point... But what kind of person would say they "must" do it, totally weird. If someone shows up in a forum, asks i they should do this or smoking, you are not dealing with someone who got hooked like we did behind the 7-11, in the park, etc. They're asking, the answer is no!!!! Neither!!!
-
VaporTalk, then JCreek, rath not so much, but I'm 0mg nic.
-
Your a better dripper than I am, gungadin...I just never got good at it, but I have to say, it got me over a huge hump!!!
-
Yeah - my wife still hasn't gotten me anything. Now in her defense, its actually my job to get it, I was going to drop the hammer on the indulgence, but they haven't returned any RFIs. So I might go ego, just to play with the 4 low amperage? attys coming my way from nhaler. My honey has not had a cigarette in 6 months and I'm very proud of her. She smokes on the weekends when we party, but she went along with this vaping thing because I said it might work. I was the hardcore smoker. She's missing the throat hit (we went to zero mg nic) and I want something to get that TH back....

Need Assistance In Choosing The Right E-Cig
FTJoe replied to Strangebear's topic in New Vapers Forum
Okay - I was going to be a DB because I've tipped a few. Guineahill gave fantastic advice though. I have to say, I never understood folks who had to have it look like a cigarette. I've taken every drug and device under the sun, I've actually done acupuncture. I didn't care if if I have to place something in my ear and flap my arms to get me to stop smoking, I would do it. So get the 510 with a PCC, there will be a learning curve, it will sometimes be a pain, if you need to, by all means keep a pack of butts next to you while you play and figure it out. My entire point is, when you find something that hits the sweet spot and puts you in control of the monkey instead of the monkey all over you, its truly liberating. Open your mind, you will be so amazed... Once you start getting bored with that, and you will, play with the mods. The amazing thing is after a week or two, if you can drop the analogues, you'll actually forget about the monkey and become obsessed with the e-cigs (that's a good thing). -
I say let them light up a cig, then once addicted, come over to the PV if they really want to keep doing something. Why not? Most (almost all) people start at a young age, ignorant and invincible. Luckily I know that is changing to some extent with the kids in my area. They make fun of us smokers. I just have a problem telling someone if they are going to take it up, choose this instead. If they are asking, we can stop them from choosing either. If they won't, it really doesn't matter anyway, they will choose one or the other. Yes - we can say if you must, choose this. But what kind of person would say they "must" do it, totally weird. JMHO
