That's quite a jump from a 510 to a Joker, depending on the atty they are using, it will knock you over. But you should be getting something with 24mg. If you want to see what not having a TH is really about go 0mg. I call it kissing your cousin, ho hum. I have to say though an ego with an LR atty is quite nice if you can manage to get one. $20 for the battery, $6 for the cone and a couple of bucks for the adapter to charge it on a 510 charger. That was my point in the previous post. I started at 24mg, felt good, enough like smoking I was satisfied. I worked my way down to 0mg after a month or two. Now if I have any juice with even 6-11mg I have a coughing fit. Now having said that, have you tried a different atty to make sure its not "stale" and on its way out?

Plenty but I'm not a big fan of experimenting with electricity.

I don't know about most reliable, but I've always been a fan of the gold band attys from TW. If you've been doing 0, you will kill your throat doing nic. Its all a matter of what you are used to. When I went to 0, doing anything above 6mg would kill me, hacking, coughing, etc. I started at 24mg and at that time seemed good at the time.

Actually you can, get your glasses on if you need them and tell me what the stats are on the charger. Probably on the other side of the cute light. Probably says xV-yV in, 4.23 V out xma or .xa. Could you let me know that the numbers are? I'm pretty sure the amps out are the important part, just don't know what the 200ma (.2A) are all about? Fast charger or slow?

Anyone have the skinny on the 510 chargers. I got a high speed charger for the egofrom TW - 420ma. I just got my 510 charger from TW, 150ma. I have two other similar chargers and they are 200ma. Is that too much for a 510? Is this just all over the map?

Ya - I'm collecting them now, 6 in hand, 4 on loan, 2 more going out. Wonderful battery, with a low res atty, its the bomb. Waiting on medium and low res cartos for the holy grail of vaping. Yet I am still buying 510 batts, no idea why.

Well I warned you, review over. Looks like fully charged the ego goes to 3.75-3.8 and this is 3.65 or so, so I have no idea where the 4.2V claim comes from. Once in use they both seem to drop off to 3.3-3.4 or so. So it is just a knockoff, as I said the halo of light is cool and the button seems better. But being a chinese knockoff I can't comment (read: am worried) about battery quality and safety. Also the charger seems to give up a little bit earlier charging than my TW quick charger. I was going to put these in the rotation of lendables to folks trying this, maybe second guessing that now.

That's why it helps to know people who are!!! I always try to assume the best and be prepared for the worst. Kind of an evil boy scout. Hopefully everything's okay with VS, where ever they are...maybe Christopher can see if that IP signed on again without signing in.

I pre-drip. My ego batt or whatever else I'm using I keep in a an eye glass reader case, a long oblong tube. When I'm done vaping, that's when I drip and then make sure the ego is standing straight up or in the case standing up. Gives it plenty of time to work down the sides of the tip if I missed. By the way, I use the tips from Minnesota something? A little bigger and sometimes I actually make it directly on to the bridge. If for some reason I'm going to not have time between drips, I pull the tip to make sure.

Total knockoff, cute little blue light when switch is pressed around the circumference of the batt is slick looking. The switch itself seems very nice and I was hoping the voltage claims were true but based on other reviews it looks like they may not be. Not even 4.2 fresh and 3.7 under load so this may be a total ego ripoff. But if it translates to something cheaper, once people bring it over here in bulk, that's cool.

Unfortunately, I'm a light vapor so you'll have to guesstimate the longevity of these based on whatever voltage I get, plus the fact they are 650mah like an ego. I'll try and measure and ego as well as a baseline. I suspect these are just ego batteries but we shall see. I shall put them on the meter fully charged and after some use. I got the stainless steel, two stainless attys, one cone, two batteries, looks to be a fast USB charger, a wall USB charger (nice) and 10 empty carts (meh). At $58 not bad but I think it was $15 shipping from China. I think I saw people mentioning a way to sign up and get slow boat shipping for $4. These are very close in size to the ego, threads for the cone in a slightly different spot but the threads appear to be the same. Cone didn't seem to screw on quite as smoothly as the ego but made it okay. I like the stainless button better. I lent an ego battery to a 2 month old vaper under my wing and it came back all busted up, wonder if this would handle it better? So more to come once I get the readings and some use out of it, hopefully tonight or over the weekend. Again, if anyone needs something done other than the little I planned, let me know.

Looking forward to hearing from you. I have a pitch I usually give but pressed for time right now. Short version is try it, see if you can replace one or a few real cigarettes with vaping. The goal is to get to no real cigs, but you will run into a "learning curve". Its cool, spark up if you have to while you check with us on the issue and/or figure it out yourself. The folks here saved me so many times I can't count. Bottom line the beauty of this is, it really can replace the act of lighting something on fire and inhaling the smoke. I think we all know that's not a good thing. The most amazing thing is, most folks who have tried the pills, the patches, the lozenges, the gum (I've tried it all including acupuncture), try this and go, hmmm, this could work. So again, there is no failure, do not set yourself up for failure and say I will never smoke again, something might happen, you may need more nic, juices suck, both batts fail, electricity goes out, etc., etc. etc. You just started the journey, give it a chance. Low res is da bomb. Just make sure you get the hang of things first before going out to the wild side. Forgot they are limited on juices, any consolation my wife liked the menthol carts I got from there (JOYE).
