  1. I agree best is the ego esp. for the second PV. But if they were digging the mega, I would do it my way get a ton of batts and attys and get a mega PCC for it from somewhere else. Those PCCs are nice, hold two batts (charges one).
  2. Something like Pigskin Pick'Em is a little easier for most. Pick with spreads is most fun...Kind of lose the whole sponsor a team part though.
  3. okay - so I'm slightly concerned after two people pointed out the ego instructions say do not use anything but and ego charger to charge these. Now I have several of the adapters TW sells so you can jam the tornado into a regular 510 wall style charger because it won't fit otherwise. Up until now, I've been assuming these were simply extensions and I didn't need them for the 510 USB chargers that the ego/tornado fit. I've also been assuming the regular charger will simply take longer as they are 150-200 mah output instead of 450 mah like the fast charger. Can anyone confirm or deny, I have seen the warning on the Janty site in the ego manual. I might ask TW. I would normally say I haven't had a problem yet, but see post on flashing LED! ;-) From the TW site... To Re-Cap. All TITAN CHARGERS-Mains, MEGA or USB will charge your TORNADO Batteries with this small adaptor. The TORNADOS own USB charger, charges at a much higher power and will burn out all TITAN batteries if these are used in it.
  4. But the kits from the VT store aren't the mega batteries, they do have their purpose. TW is pricey, but 510 stuff is on sale. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/e-cig-accessories-510-titan-products.html If you buy bulk (read the warranty warnings) it becomes pretty cheap. $50 for 5 mega batteries, $28 for 5 atomizers (don't get the mega, its something else entirely), $17 for the charger (if it was me I'd look around for a Mega PCC, about $20 and use a regular charger and the PCC). Carts and juice are cheaper elsewhere. Having said all that, I use the egos.
  5. Oh thanx...I am such a sucker...got em and a couple other things.
  6. Good to know, I was tempted to send stuff in a regular envelope, went bubble instead. My issue is trying to get to a PO to get it done.
  7. Yeah - that's a nice wide one, I'm just not a fan of metal. I ordered some more from super t, and going to try the polished aluminum (looks cool but I'm hoping the aluminum will throw off the heat).
  8. First you should be fine overnight. Charging should stop when its charged. The ego battery is 650mah but I'd like to know what it says on your charger. Some are 150mah, 200, 400, 450, etc. I think that determines how quickly the ego will charge. Should look something like this: http://www.madvapes.com/510-USB-Charger-_p_2427.html The 0.2 amps is the same as 200mah. While you're there on madvapes, I believe you can also check out car and house adapters that are suitable for 5V passthrus. http://www.madvapes.com/USB-Chargers_c_16.html Usually the 3.7V passthrus are actually powered by a 3.7V battery, so they can be plugged into any USB port. The USB is there to charge the battery, the battery powers the passthru. I think you can still use it even when not plugged in. There are also passthrus that run at 5V and have no battery. These need decent power, so many laptops just can't drive them as they don't have enough power. Hence the wall and car adapters I pointed to you above. I don't think there is anything dangerous, just won't work very well.
  9. If I have a chance tomorrow (slim as my sister and nephew are in from France and we're getting ready for vacash), I'm going to run a bit through one of them to see. I think even if you get the upper part open a little you'll be in better shape. This is why I pre-drip. I will actually drip 1-2 drips after I'm done so it has a chance to run down the sides. Anymore and you will get leaks.
  10. My issue is that even with glasses, if you miss the drip, you will get juiced.
  11. Yea and yes, compared to the super t wide mouths.
  12. Got them, very nice. Anyone try drilling them out a little more?
  13. Mine still messed up, good thing I charged up the gift card...
  14. There's another discussion going on about charging. Can you read what the mah is on the charger you are using? If 200mah or less it will definitely take a while to charge, I think the ego charger is more like 450mah and then it only takes 1.5 - 2 hours to charge. Try one overnight to see if its green in the morning.
  15. The TW adapter is for the regular 510 charger. The USB charger for the 510 looks just like the ego quick charger. I think the only difference is the output is higher on the quick charger.
  16. Actually I believe the ego will charge off a regular 510 charger, it just takes longer. There is a quick charger with higher mah to charge the ego much faster. This can not be used on a regular 510. FWIW - I always buy the multi-packs from TW. Mega batts right now are on sale for $10 (buy 5 for $50) and attys are $5.60 (buy 5 for $28). They've also changed the multi-pack warranty, they will replace doas, used to be not.
  17. I forgot to add there is a bigger version of the ego available. Ego XL I think...900 mah
  18. There are certain things - medications, water vapor, etc that are good. But these things are tried and true, not sure I'd want to try something that hasn't been tested vigorously. I'm leery of the PG which actually has been tested to some extent.
  19. Are you charging the egos up all the way? Do you have a fast charger? A fast charger (I think rated at 400-500mah on the back) should charge it up in an hour and a half. Results may vary if off a computer. I usually use a wall charger (AC plug with a USB connection). The ego lasts 6 hours for a heavy vapor I am told.
  20. I'll let you know how I make out, stopped flashing so I through it on the fast charger. Now I'm wondering if trickle is better. Update us either way please.
  21. I usually jump on the multi-packs during the sales, then they are very cheap.
  22. Okay - I'll give it a whirl, besides, I'm not positive where I got it anyway. I guess the LED flashing will help run it down as well. Ummm - it's actually going on and off so I can't use it, atty is going on for each pulse.
  23. My relatively new ego is flashing constantly. Was periodic, now going all the time. It ran out of juice last night, so charged it overnight and it seemed fine. Now just flashing. Trippy, still works but I guess there's an issue of some kind. Have to see if I can figure out when I got it and from whom. Any ideas what this means? Stops when I throw it on the charger, doesn't happen when it off but then does start up again.
  24. A couple of times a year TW has a nice sale, that's when you swoop in.
