Very true. Once you get it down, costs go down significantly. Problem is buy a pack of cigs at the 7-11 is easy each day, spending money on something being shipped and invoiced is a little painful. But usually what you end up getting for $100 will replace many many packs.

Yuppers - all set and keep a few of your 510 batteries around for backups. Mind if I ask what menthol juice and what you used to smoke? I think I mentioned there is a special USB charger for the ego, charges it quick (1.5 hours). I believe you can use a regular charger but that takes a bit longer to charge it. Point is if you get the fast charger, do not charge the 510s on it, will damage them.

FWIW - evape gets you 7.5% discount. I like TW but you got to get em at sale time for regular attys, etc. I can't tell you how many TW attys I own, tons. To be fair, some have posted they have a bad rep but I love the attys. 1000mah is bigger and lasts longer, I have no need but if you are a heavy vaper, I can see it. When I was vaping heavy, I'd rather have a couple of regular egos in case I'm out and about and one craps out. Going all day is nice until it doesn't.

A standard atty is around 2.5-2.7 I think. The LRs are 1.6 to 1.8, 2 would be just a little cooler than the LR510s we know and love. I think the 901s get their coolness/flavor not from a different resistance, but because they are a little longer and the vapor cools a little quicker. I'm sure someone will correct my errors in a minute,.. lol

The 510 mega battery I believe is about 50% more than the regular 510. The ego/tornado is big, now you are talking 6-8 hours in between charges. And, no drop-off on the charge. That means the power coming from a 510 is good for the first few minutes, then tails off. Mega is better, Ego awesome (but bigger). Look in the gallery you will see pics (maybe not). Final point is they are all 510, threads are the same, just the battery is different. Mega attys and mega ego attys stay away from for right now if the battery is your only issue. There is a mega ego battery which is 1000mah instead of the regular ego at 650 mah. So for 20 bucks for the battery, and 5 bucks for the cone, give it a whirl. By the way, there will be one of three ways to charge the ego battery. Still very manageable. And for drippers, it'll be about the same size with a drip tip and with a cart on a 510. Worth it for the coolness and taste.

A little bit? Maybe that's a relative term? ;-) I agree can be lived with but some may not like. I have about a quarter inch extra on the adapter: http://www.madvapes.com/510-to-901808-D-Adapter_p_2151.html and the 901 atty is about 3/8 inch longer, all guesses without a ruler but should be more than 1/2 an inch longer.

Not only that, the 901 atty is longer than a 510. So all told, the 510 atty basically comes up to the top of the cone, with the adapter (mine is I'm guessing a little more than a 1/4 inch not counting threads) the 901 is out about a half inch or so? I'm guessing, no ruler around. I use a regular drip tip but the shorter ones should be fine as the bridge is deeper down than a 510, less heat generated.
