Yeah - there's a term for it that I forget, but almost immediately a 510 will drop off. I used to carry a PCC and flip them around all the time but that will just wear them out. Congrats and GLTY.

Mark had the best suggestion, it'll cut down on the crud and help keep the atty clean. I usually do it during the day. Turn it over, battery side up, I blow it out a little and let the crap come out. There's also a dry burning method ddave can talk about that I use all the time as well. Now where's that bandwagon?

True dat!! ;-) There are others out there, maybe not as high a dose but a friend of mine just can not do 12mg, 18mg is okay for her, I think she'd be better with 24 but as long as she's okay with 18, so be it.

Back off, these guys know what they are doing. Goes to my theory on two addictions/habits. Nicotine is an addiction, all of us get that first blast and the brain remembers how it felt. Under stress and whatnot, we remember that good feeling and go back to it. Some people I believe are more addicted to the nicotine than that habit the nicotine started. I went to 0 after a few months and the addiction kind of went away. I still do it but not often, I always wondered how my wife only had to smoke on weekends when drinking or under stress, she could go for weeks. I thought I was a nic fiend, almost missing planes to sneak one more, etc. Kind of embarrassing that it was really mostly a habit for me at least. But my point is a some of us really do need that nic coursing through their bodies. How else can you explain they couldn't leave the cigs behind unti lthey got to a certain level?

I see folks complaining about only being able to charge it 500 times. But I think it was only a few ours to charge after initial and that seemed pretty good. Probably retail 80% over a year, saw someone else post reco is to charge every three months.

Sorry - no idea if will be suitable etc. I usually get the little bricks off amazon, charge via mini-USB and hasa regular USB for output. Also a couple of solar ones, charge via usb or solar, powers via usb. They are a all trickle chargers though, useful, but not powerful. Bottom line is this is cool but NOT necessary!!! Droid X is a battery killer, must get for wife's Droid.

I believe the atty runs up through the middle. I think the golden rule is to never let it go dry, then the filler burns and its done. Many get a good amount of time out of them. Drip tip for sure.

Some have talked about how when left to sit, there is a concentration that occurs (probably just some pooling then evaporation).

Did you get the wide mouth? That's what I have though the straight walled ones I think are a little better.

That was entirely my fault in the other thread for hijacking. I know many folks use different levels during the day, if you can get by with 12, and save the higher ones for the tough times that might help. If you can just do 12 that'd be good too. Sometimes its tough to tell if you're getting enough nic 9addiction wise) as withdrawal symptoms usually take a little time to show up (for me at least). Cartos hold a lot of juice and are a lot cooler than regular attys so if its the heat that would help there. Try one thing at a time and see what helps. What kind of setup do you have now and what did you smoke? I'm asking because I find tobacco light smokers (non-menthol) almost invariably cough, at least at first, when subjected to 18 or 24. 11-12 seems more managable to them I have found.

Have you tried filling two cartos? I have to think if you get the caps back on they will last quite a while (weeks?). Drip the unused one on bathroom breaks? Just saying...
