Mission accomplished as I am going out of my mind.!! I'm thinking I got something contaminating my batch. I hate doing it but I am starting over with fresh bottles. Each one individually tastes fine though, which makes sense as I am going out of my mind. I'll try again tonight with a regular 510 atty first, then the low res, could something be caramelizing? Once I don't have an issue, we'll start the taste test with her including the v4l nuport. I figure let her taste the individual juices then some combos and tweak the percentage once she knows the components. She's a fan (last time I checked) of the JC taste as well).

I can't vouch for it but our host has some in the VT store... http://www.vaportalkstore.com/products/Vapor-Talk-Cola.html

Trying to get everything together for her to try now, including one of the several giant bottles of nuport I got that is staring at me, I think its laughing. I figure she'll be okay with some combo of mentha, dulcis and JC arctic menthol. Weird thing is now my mix is tasting a little weird, kind of sweet/fruity which was her complaint. I think maybe in the effort to test I've been just vaping too much right now and twisted my taste buds. And that's with a new 901LR. Maybe I just let the cartos get too old? Maybe too much Dulcis, I don't know, I'm lost now. Packing it in, there's always tomorrow.

Cartos, get a bunch, load them up. Drip tip maybe, when they get about half way done, switch and then reload if they can else wait for someone who can. Worse comes to worse, some people buy them preloaded and toss them.

I always tell folks to try and start out as you did with smoking (go outside, don't chain, etc.) to get an idea of what level you need. What you posted seems okay, I would even drop it more if you are vaping a lot. Maybe get a jolt a couple times a day of the 18 to make sure you don't nic fit, but if you are more of an addict out of habit than nicotine vape low levels. When I started dropping the level of nic I started vaping like a fiend as well. not saying it was the same but various things popped up for me as well, headaches, sort throat, swollen glands. If you are using PG make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids.

Ordering An E-Cig For My Lady Friends
FTJoe replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Friends - lol. The tru-vapor cartos are medium res (2.4) instead of the normal res for a carto which is higher. http://vaporsetc.com/vapordefaultdetail.asp?detailid=PA1026&detname=Blank%20Blue%20510%20Hard%20Tip%20Cartomizers'>'>http://vaporsetc.com/vapordefaultdetail.asp?detailid=PA1026&detname=Blank%20Blue%20510%20Hard%20Tip%20Cartomizers'>http://vaporsetc.com/vapordefaultdetail.asp?detailid=PA1026&detname=Blank%20Blue%20510%20Hard%20Tip%20Cartomizers http://vaporsetc.com/vapordefaultdetail.asp?detailid=PA1026&detname=Blank%20Blue%20510%20Hard%20Tip%20Cartomizers'>'>http://vaporsetc.com/vapordefaultdetail.asp?detailid=PA1026&detname=Blank%20Blue%20510%20Hard%20Tip%20Cartomizers'>http://vaporsetc.com/vapordefaultdetail.asp?detailid=PA1026&detname=Blank%20Blue%20510%20Hard%20Tip%20Cartomizers I just noticed ceramic cartomizers? Hmmmm, 2.5 Ohms...hmmm -
Health Cabin I believe is fine. My biggest concern is if there hardware problems how do you execute a return and how much will it cost in the end, time and money?
-
Actually shipping from China does not take very long (if its not waylaid by customs).
-
Don't try to save some money that way. Even if a joye, if you have an issue good luck dealing with a chinese supplier. Would you have to pay for shiping back to them, etc.?

And if you do like the 901 atty, you can get an adapter almost anywhere to use 901 attys on the 510 fitting of the ego. Width is the same as a 510 so it just goes on, a little longer. Some people are having issues with LR attys, but createvapor has 901 LR attys and I'm pretty much using that exclusively, I believe they have adapters as well. Then there are cartos, regular, medium and low resistance cartos which I outlined in a post yesterday I believe.

I did like the fact that it doesn't seem to leak as much. -

No need - or shouldn't? I did but now it seems a little too hot, 901 LR atty. Luckily more are on the way from CreateVapor. -
So I'm out to dinner with a few folks. I finally got my Mrs. down to what she likes. A medium Res carto, V4L Nuport 0mg juice. Ahhh - life is good. In fact, our friend who quit smoking a while back is always appreciative that I have a nice pink ego with a regular carto loaded with Nuport for when we go out and is digging that I showed up with it tonight. Wait, I'm rambling, so wife declares I don't like this (Nuport), tastes sweet, let me try yours, I like that!!! I've been doing a mix of VT mentha, dulcis and JC arctic menthol forever (well at least since dulcis went 0mg). So, of course I just ordered I can not tell you how much v4l juice two fays ago. Of course that is one day before the 20% v4l sale came up. waaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmbulance

I think its entirely subjective. I was a marlboro lights guy. Started at 24. My sister I finally got to try it, could not take anything over 10mg. Rule is there is no rule. Figure out what you need. Some believe in starting low, I believe starting high and working down if need be.

That's who I was talking about, to me that was the end of Nascar. Sad, restraint failure? No way a guy like that goes down cause of that, ruined it for me. Plus I watched it and had no idea, plus he was doing what he always did, if I remember, was blocking someone to make sure his teammate won.

Anyone Else Have To Drop Nic Level After Switching To The Ego?
FTJoe replied to VtVapor's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Not a winp - I went from 24 to 0. Still vape, but at 0. It's nbot the nic that has many of us (some yes) but the habit of hand to mouth and the initial addiction to all the other crap they put in analogues. -
Awesome advice - fish around, once you find what you like, take the plunge. It might take a while. Some like to find what they smoked, some go off the reservation and go grape soda (yeah I'm looking at you nero).

Removing The Wick And Bridge From Your Atomizer
FTJoe replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in Modders Forum
Lots of folks love the twisted tips from nhaler. wordup has nice ones and create vapor has them. Some are metal, some are "delrin" a hard plastic. I get mine from all over but prefer the ones from super t manufacturing (a little pricey). The plastic ones can be drilled out and don't have an o-ring that will have to be replaced. http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/id72.html I like the wide mouth delrin, I also got the polished aluminum for too much money, now I see anodized aluminum at the bottom in all different colors. I guess I'm buying again, they are only $4 each. I might also get the shorty delrin wide mouth, it appears without the bridge, less juice is getting sucked back up the tip. I used use longer tips to help out not getting juiced, but without the bridge less need and dripping into a shorter tip means less chance of hitting the sides on the way down. Still not sure I like the heat off a 901 LR without the bridge. Might see if Christopher is still dealing on the regular 901s. -
I'd rather people not be "ugly" vapers. We've got an uphill battle as it is. JMHO

I am so dying to find out the finances of the American Lung Association. I assume they get all sorts of money from taxes/tobacco/pharma. I assume taxes/NY State as they also had a big "Don't buy cigarettes from Indian Reservations to avoid taxes" on their home page. Here's the other notice I saw a while back in regards to the ban, I pasted the entire contents, just left the link as proof. I bolded their opinion, but I love the most experts agree in the second paragraph. http://www.lungusa.org/associations/states/new-york/publicpolicy/assets/a9529s75.pdf Memorandum in Support A.9529 by Assemblymember Rosenthal S.7234 by Senator Klein AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to prohibiting the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors and in relation to prohibiting the distribution or sale of any item containing or delivering nicotine that is not defined by law as a tobacco product or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for sale as a tobacco use cessation or harm reduction product Statement of support: E‐cigarettes are battery‐powered nicotine inhalation devices made in China. The manufacturers claim to deliver nicotine to the user through a propylene glycol solution. E‐cigarettes are available in bubble gum and fruit flavors as well as more traditional tobacco‐flavors. Currently, they are being sold at retail outlets including kiosks at malls across New York, as well as online. Most experts agree that these products have their greatest appeal to new smokers, 90% of whom are teens or younger. Established smokers are unlikely to give up their favorite brands for these new products. The makers and retailers of these products have been making unproven health claims about their products, claiming that they are safe or safer than traditional cigarettes and asserting that they can help people to quit smoking. In one press release, an e‐cigarette company claimed their products were doctor recommended for pregnant women. There is no scientific evidence that e‐cigarettes are safer for consumers than regular tobacco products. In fact, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted one initial and limited study into the products in July of 2009, which confirmed that concern about the safety of the products is valid. FDA scientists found that the products contained carcinogens and toxic chemicals, including the ingredients found in anti‐freeze. Like the “light” and “low tar” cigarettes that tobacco companies claimed were healthier for consumers, there is no evidence to back up the claims made by e‐cigarette makers. In September of 2008, the World Health Organization stated that they have “no evidence to confirm the product’s safety or efficacy.” There is also no scientific evidence that these products can help smokers quit. The U.S. Public Health Service cessation guidelines state very clearly that smokers who want to quit should use FDA‐approved cessation medications in conjunction with either individual or group counseling. We agree with the initial FDA determination that these products should be regulated as drug‐delivery devices and as such, should not be sold until the FDA has determined their safety and efficacy. The Lung Association has called for the removal of all e‐cigarettes from the marketplace until they have been determined to be safe. For these reasons, the American Lung Association in New York, supports this legislation and urges its enactment.
