Hey dylnne! Im sorry to hear about your protege melting. I had a similar problem with my pass through, one of the transistors apparently blew and turned on automatically and the only way to stop it was to unplug before it melted. Luckily i was walking by my desk when the light flicked on and i heard a sizzling noise. With all the new battery mods coming out now, its only expected that a few are going to be faulty at one point or another. Keep in mind, in the world of electronics, nothings lasts forever. The best thing to do is to take the atomizer off your battery unit before you store it. Its a little more of a hassle but thats the safest thing to do. I now unplug my pass through from my computer when im not using it and havent had any problems since. Also when i carry around my Joye 510 in my pocket i always make sure my atty is disconnected from the battery no matter how baggy my pants are. We dont want an incident us VT's call "Hot Pants" Another plus side on purchasing a spade is that the buttons on them take a good push to get them fired up. Plus the button doesnt not stick out far from the battery mod. You should have better luck with the spade.

If the atty is burning up the liquid that much, its not dead. Signs of a dead atty is no vapor production not matter how little or how much juice you put in. I would try changing the poly-fill inside the cartridge or switching to a new one. Also you can also just directly drip onto the atty, its really the only way to go

Pretty neat find there. Yea my concern like everyone else would be it seems you would get juice in your mouth. Also you would have to wait for the juice to slide down the side walls to the atty before you can vape it? Either or id like to see an someone using these badboys in action.

Hey Skruff, i just had the exact same issue come up Saturday. Luckily i was walking by my computer desk when it decided to turn on otherwise i would of had a melting atty all over my stuff! Talk about scary. Im sending it in today once the post office clears of its hordes, lol.

Lol sounds to me that you have the flu, or maybe a upper respiratory infection. Should definitely go see a doctor. Though PG has shows positive effects fighting against some respiratory symptoms, its not a 100% preventative

DO NOT PULL THOSE STRINGS OFF!! Lol if you pull those strings off the bridge you could break the atty. Sometimes new attys have a metallic/ burnt taste to them. I would recommend if your using carts to drip about 2-3 drops directly on the bridge before you use. The wick could be dry which could be causing the unpleasant taste even though you have a cart in there. Keep the atty wet and give it a few days!

Hey there! I usually leave my batteries on the chargers sometimes days at a time. So far i havent had any problems with them! No sign of shortened life or getting hot on the charger. I would definitely follow the instructions that came with your kit on charging the battery. But in my opinion, it doesnt matter

Best bet for him would be to stick with pre-filled carts. Does he have anyone around to help him refill carts when they are empty? My advice it to load 5-6 of them for him for a day, maybe if you have the time stock him up enough for a week I think its a great idea for him to switch to e-cigs! He is going to love it im sure! I pretty much have a feel for how much juice i drip nowadays though. When i watch a movie sometimes i notice myself not even paying attention to how many drops i drip onto my atty but turns out to be just right.
