  1. If you notice a gunky brown build up on your atty coil or notice a reduction in performance i would say its time to clean the bad boy. How long will they last? Im not sure, some of the longest lasting attys ive heard of was 3-4 months. I havent done much digging for the longest lasting atty though.
  2. Yea the mouth pieces on dietsmokes looks kinda bulky. Im looking for more of a tapered mouthpiece like a black and mild mini cigar.
  3. Could also take the best questions of the week and do a 1 by 1 answer to them in detail so people arent digging around for posts. Would be kinda cool Or maybe a vaping for beginners tutorial on the basics what is what, how to do this and that. Or hell maybe i can do all that.
  4. LOL. Yea its weird not having smokes and a lighter in my pocket. I remember the first couple weeks when i work up at the club DJ'ing, girls would come up to my booth asking for a light and id be like "Sure hold on" (Reaches in pocket) "Whoops sorry i forgot, i quit smoking!"
  5. I'd be more than willing to write detailed reviews on things. Might even do video reviews if i get a camera soon. Or if your looking for some sort of customer service for e-mails or moderators, i have spare time Let me know
  6. Yea there would have to be some external device that measures power output to trigger a counter when you draw from your e-cig. Iphone app would be awesome! LOL
  7. Ive left my batteries on the chargers overnight and for a couple days and they seem to be fine. Also havent been noticing any drop in battery life doing this so you should be fine.
  8. Hey guys, i had an idea for a program. Now im not sure if it would work, but it might help from over vaping and possibly help your e-cigs last longer. Im not a programmer by any means, but you have your USB chord plugged into your computer. Is there a way, (without putting chips and all that into your e-cig) to have a program that monitors the amount of vapes and ON time of your e-cig? How would something like this work? I think an app like this would be pretty cool.
  9. They are currently out of stock Stirfry. Was wanting to get one myself, havent heard any reviews of this particular item, but i do know puresmoker has some quality stuff. Ive ordered a few things from them, very prompt shipping.
  10. I always carry around my small bottles of juice in my pocket everyday without a problem. One thing i would think like anything else, is if you have a large amount of juice that you dont think you would fully use in a weeks time or so, i would maybe put it in the fridge. Usually i just leave my bottles in room temperature in my house with the cap tightly sealed. The only thing i have noticed is when i would leave my caps off one of my small bottles for a couple days that the juice starts to turn a darker color and loses its sweet taste (tasting dry and stale). Ive noticed that on the cartridges you get come with a exp date that say they last a year, and they have no labels on the instruction manuals that say to store at room temp or refrigerate. . As far as leaving it in the car, probably not the best idea with the heat. If you heat something and let it cool off it could produce condensation inside the bottle which could add some dis-flavoring. My advice, not to worry about where you put your juice, just keep it in room temp environments and you should be fine. :P
  11. Has anyone figured out how to prevent your 510 from leaking juice? I only put 2-3 drops max on the atty at a time. I do about 10-12 vapes from this till it tastes dry. But i notice i get juice on my fingers that seems to be coming from the small holes where the atty meets the battery. Anyone know how to prevent this? Im constantly wiping my 510 with my shirt or on my pants, then i have to take a trip to the sink to get the nicotine off my fingers. Quite frustrating
  12. Lol nice one! The end was the best, he ditched the cops/ errr whatever that was
  13. Ahh thanks man, i dont know how i missed that!
  14. Hey guys, i really like the tapered plastic mouthpieces that the penstyles have. Does anyone know any penstyle mouthpieces that would fit the Joye 510?
  15. Yea alot of the menthol ive tried had a very Peppermint taste to it as well. I did however try puresmoker's menthol and it was more realistic to a Kool analog. I have the Metha on the way! I was also a menthol smoker, and i have found myself vaping my Cola flavor juice for almost a full week. You will get used to it, and your right, nothing will really taste like an analog. Something about it having no tar/ chemicals/ and ash to add I try and find some subtle flavors that aren't too sugary and not too dry. Dont worry you will find the brand you like eventually
  16. FDA = F**KING DUMB A$$es Way to expose them FOX! The news anchor doesnt even get why the heck they would have a problem with e-cigs compared to a cigarette. "Cant control the amount of nicotine" Umm yea you can, dont vape for 3 hours straight!! When you feel weird put it down! ME__FDA
  17. I was wondering that myself when i was watching the videos. Im thinking the USB pass through added a little bit more power to the battery allowing the atty to burn hotter (enabling more flavor burn) because the battery is in a charge state. I would imagine in a non charging state the battery would drop its power output to give the battery a longer vape life. As far as i read about the VP1 and VP2 in the tech specs it DOES NOT say you can change the power output from the battery through the device itself. Im not sure if such a device exists.
  18. 1. a- if you take off the mouthpiece with the cart in it from the atomizer, you can push the cart out by inserting a small nail (or i use a paper clip) into the little hole at the top of the mouthpiece and apply a little bit of pressure till the cart falls out. From there take the cart with the same nail/ paperclip and pull out the foam looking filling. I would use a paper towel to handle the filler, you dont want all that juice to get absorbed into your skin. Then take it over to a sink with some warm water and start squeezing it till it turns completely white. Then squeeze the water as best you can from the filler till it seems dry, or even take a paper towel to it to help soak up the water. Then take the filler and stuff it into the empty cart carefully, it will tend to only want to go in ONE way the way the filler is cut. Once you get it packed in there, you can fill it with whatever juice you want. Just be careful on not flooding the cart, you want to fill it just enough to where it sorta pools at the top a little. You can poke the filler with your paperclip and make the filler absorb more juice. b- as far as menthol juices tasting like menthol, they really do! Ive tried 4 brands of menthol and its more of a minty very cooling feel when you vape it. Mixing juices together WILL give it a distinct flavor, but menthol is a very overpowering one. If you added it to your starter cartridges it will taste more menthol like, not necessarily like crap 2. When i received my Joye 510 starter kit I just took 1 of the battery's and immediately started vaping. At the same time i had the spare battery plugged into the wall charger. I never have waited 8 hours for a charge, the charger light will turn green when the bat is fully charged which happened with mine out of the box in about 30-45mins. Then i took the charged battery off the charger and started using it and put the uncharged one back on the charger. You shouldn't have any problems doing this. Hope this helps.
  19. Here is a video link that i couldnt stop laughing over Cops playing Nintendo Wii during drug raid!
