  3. Lol yea i kinda hate the warm feeling, if only there where AC units you could snap on to them attys
  4. Until then...Keep it up and spread the word!! Chris needs to send me some dang business cards with the forum on them so i dont have to keep explaining the things!!
  5. Hey guys, just thought I'd start a post to try and get to know everyone better. I was just curious what types of skilled peeps we have here on Vapor Talk. So my question is...... What do you guys do for a living? I myself am a Tattoo Artist of 5 years how about you?
  6. You also might want to check out some of the posts on this thread concerning blu e-cigs Here
  7. Im not quite sure about using the Blu pack with other batteries, id imagine that you could given you know what atomizers Blu uses. One thing i did find was that the blu packs were recalled, here is a post i found about the Blu pack You should really check out awesomevapor.com they have some really good deals on starter kits. I started with a Joye 510 manual battery kit and i still use it today!! The 510 is one of our favorites here on Vapor Talk. Check out Chris and Seans video review of it here. Before coming to a solid conclusion definitely check out all the other video reviews here Hope this helps and welcome to the forums!
  8. I concur with hawk, starting your car causes a power surge much like when the electricity goes out at your house then all the sudden jolts back on. It can fry your computers and it dam sure can fry your batteries
  9. Pretty much its the equivalent of a DSE901. Not sure the price difference but ive read it smokes the same. If your husband is looking for something that gives a light throat hit i would recommend the an 801 or 901 pen-style kit. I guess it depends on how you smoke it and the juice your using though check out awesomevapor.com and make sure you check out Chris and Seans video reviews on different models.
  10. Man i wish my shops business would pick up so i can snag one of these!! Dam bills!!
  11. Im a huge 801 atty fan and ive noticed a few design differences with carts. My carts i got from dietsmokes slide right into my 801 atty from Joye. The same blank cart wants to snap into my low bridge attys from arno. It all depends on where you get them and how the plastic is designed i think. Ive noticed mix matching different blank carts with different attys can help make vapor production better because the airflow might be slightly different
  12. What i can say is ive been smoke free for 2 months now and i feel awesome. When i first quit the analogs i remember having some really vivid dreams and a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. My coughing has completely stopped, orange juice tastes fantastic!! I dont remember it ever being so tasty Aside from that, i havent experienced coughing up nasty stuff yet, and for some reason i dont think i will. Kinda funny but my dog would always be sneezing, i would notice it more often when i was smoking. Now she hasnt sneezed in almost a month! All in all, aside from the realistic dreams and the lack of sleep i felt i was getting for the first week, its been a great experience. Things are looking up

  14. Yep its ok! Jeso also said it could have been a short because of juice leaking into the battery chamber. So i ran it under some warm water when i got home and let it dry over night. Works like a charm! Jeso also said if it was having any problem to just ship it back! Vaprlife gets Five Stars!!!
  15. Lol i also have a pretty hard time dripping and driving. Dripping and driving a manual sports car sucks!! I havent found an easy way to do it either, my advice is to maybe buy a half dozen blank carts and fill them with juice before you start your day and keep them in an Altoids box or something
  16. Nope, Hawk the 10440 batts from Vaprlife will not fit in the Janty Stick because they are bigger since they are protected. Janty Stick batts are not protected, but the VP1 will take either, my advice is to NOT use JS bats in the VP1 Unit.
  17. Ive been a drummer for 14 years, and been playing the strings for about 8 yrs. But right now im playing Bass guitar in my current band. I have a Damien Series Schecter 4 string bass and a Schecter Hellraiser. I still play guitar as well just not in a band. I sold my drumkit a while back about 4 years ago. Hope i can get a new set soon
  18. Hey guys. Well i have a noobie story for you guys. So 2 days ago i was in a hurry to get out the door for work and i reached into my drawer where i keep all my e-cig stuff and grabbed a spare battery and my VP1. Well when i got to work, of course the first 15mins are always hectic, so i usually deal with it by getting some vapes in before hand. So i took out my dead battery and put my new one in. Well what i didnt know, was that i put one of my Janty stick batteries in my VP1 unit. So i was sitting there vaping and noticed that the battery cap at the bottom of my VP1 was getting hot. So anyways i thought that was odd and went to unscrew the battery cap and see if something was wrong. YEEEEOOUUCCCHH!!!!!! That battery cap was sooo freaking hot the spring on the inside burned a perfect circle on my thumb! So after dropping my VP unit the battery, and the cap, im sitting there wondering what the hell just happened! So after searching under my desk for my VP parts i grabbed the battery. This was literally my face when i noticed i was using the wrong battery Lol! So anyways i sent an e-mail out to Jeso telling him my story and almost got a response immediately. ********Based on what you have described- it seems very likely that the issue you experienced was due to an unprotected battery. Oftentimes when an unprotected battery 'shorts out' or is on the verge of doing so- it can cause the unit to begin heating up.********* So after i realized how noob i was i ran home, grabbed the right battery and been having no problems thus far. I am still scared of unscrewing the battery cap but its not getting warm anymore. MAKE SURE YOU GUYS USE PROTECTED BATTERIES
  19. Was wonderin where ya went bro!! Im in the same boat as you man, I put in 8hrs a day 7 days a week at my shop, i DJ on the weekends, Im in a band that practices 4 times a week, plus a girlfriend i have to entertain, with a dog at home, plus im working on my own website, and im a hardcore gamer....if only the days where longer
  20. Ive been using my original 510 and 801 attys for almost 2 months now. They are kickin just as good as when i first got them. If your attys are bogging down i would toss them in some boiling water for about 10mins and let them dry out overnight. On average unless you get lucky it seems attys dont last much longer than a month.
  21. Michigan here and its FREEZING!!!
  22. Lol Bird dog, thats awesome, you pulled the emperor off pretty well I like the Royal Guard costume on the far left.
