I too use LR atty's and I love them. Another thing to consider is that they tend to have a shorter lifespan. I lost an LR atty after about 2.5 weeks of use, but I think letting it run dry to the point of tasting burnt vapor greatly contributed to the shorter lifespan. Also, many suppliers don't have a warranty for LR atty's. If they do, it's DOA only.

I'd also like to add that you can also soak an atty in a cup of water with an efferdent tablet in it. I had an atty that had a horrible draw nearly no vapor. I let it soak in a cup with efferdent for 30 minutes, rinsed it out and soaked it with efferdent for another 30, rinsed and let dry overnight. It works like new!

Is There Anything Similar To This

How long are these supposed to last before needing replacement? -
I agree with Wendall B. Reducing the nic level will reduce the hit. Are the juices you purchased 100% PG? If so that adds to the throat hit. In my experience, PG produces significantly less vapor that VG. You might might to consider mixing some VG in there. From what I've read, 20%VG/80% PG is common. I personally prefer a 50/50 mix for extra vapor.

You shouldn't have a problem with a 50/50 mix. I've been using it for over a week now without any problems.

Hey Bart, you'll be happy with an eGo! I almost started with blus until I saw so many videos saying how bad they were.

Cowboy Tobacco Pg/vg With Joye Ego T "q"

Hi Jennifer, I'm new to vaping myself. I've had my eGo-T for almost two weeks now. 1. You can use a 50/50 PG/VG mix. I've read here that that's the highest you can go. I personally enjoy this mix as it's a good compromise between vapor production and flavor. Also, I've found that a pure PG mix has the best flavor and OK vapor production. Pure VG mix has great vapor production and 'muted' flavor. I've used pure VG juice in both a normal and LR eGo-T atty without any problems. 2. Sorry I haven't tried them yet. 3. Yes I did notice some dehydration -- nothing major, just that the back of my throat was drier than usual. 4. I felt some anxiousness but that was offset by the novelty of it all! Other observations: I've found that completely filling a tank so that there's no air bubble when it's inserted into the atty will cause a few dry hits with a really bad burning taste. I fill it up so that there's a bubble about half the size of a pea left in there. If you haven't already done so, try buying some silicone rubber caps for your tanks. That'll really help with leaking issues or stop them completely. In the beginning I was taking extremely hard drags, like trying to suck the universe through the atty! Take gentle drags; gentle drags and silicone caps have completely eliminated my leaking issues. -
I have an ego-T with the B type atties and keep mine in my back pack oriented vertically with the battery side down. I have noticed that it'll leak if my bag gets knocked around too much. I haven't gotten any leaks since i started carrying it around horizontally.

Welcome, Tim! I'm a newbie myself. I've been on the boards for less than a week and I'm learning so much.

Hi All, It's been a good 4 days of vaping with my eGo-T Mega. I had one Marlboro menthol analog last night and frankly, it tasted horrible. I was getting dry heaves. I can't believe I was used to that! Anyway, since Saturday I've been using both the regular and LR atty with 100% VG menthol juice. I've read in various places not to use 100% VG juice with these atties, but I haven't had any problems. I got some pure PG juice yesterday and tried it with the LR atty and I noticed something odd. The throat hit from the normal atty on the VG juice vs. on the LR atty on the PG juice was the same, but the vapor from the PG juice on the LR atty seemed much less full than that off of the VG juice on the normal atty. I cleaned out both atties and tried it again and the same result -- much less vapor from the LR atty with PG juice. I had to take a significantly longer drag from it to get the same vapor production from the normal atty. Is this typical or am I just getting weird results? Also, I've noticed that the atty leaks with the PG juice. If I fill the tank up completely and take regular drags it's fine, but it seems the moment the juice level falls below the rim of the atty, it starts leaking. Consequent drags and I could tell the atty was flooded -- I could hear significant bubbling from the atty, and upon unscrewing the battery the was a lot of leakage. I ordered some silicone tank caps from Vapor Kings. Hopefully those will help with the leaking because I'm a little bit torn. The VG juice's flavor is a bit more subtle with a hint of sweetness to it, while the PG juice has a much stronger menthol hit...but with the significantly less vapor production and the leakage, I'm a bit turned off by it. Are there any pure VG menthol juices that you recommend? I'm currently using CloudPure menthol juice ordered from cloudsofvapor.com.

Thanks Mark and Viper Ron! Still happily vaping on my eGo-T mega with no problems to report. And the weather is just beautiful today.

Thanks for all the input! I think I'll just blow it out occasionally as most of you suggested. I've noticed that the LR atty does burn through juice quicker but the vapor just seems so much better. I'm favoring it much more than the normal atty. @mjradik, I've noticed that it only leaks if I just lay it on the table horizontally or it's in a drawer with the mouthpiece end lower than the battery end.

Hi All, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kerwin and I'm very new to vaping. I just got my very first PV in before Irene really started to pound us in NYC. I got the eGo-T Mega in stainless steel with the B type atty. I've been vaping on and off for most of the day and I have to say I love it! Anyone else have this? I'd like to know what your experiences are, ie how you clean this atty and what can I expect moving forward. For all of you on the East coast, stay dry and stay safe! :-) Happy vaping!
