Yes, flavors are personal. That is why I like seeing so many different flavors available. Can you imagine how it could be if the FDA gets their way and you have very few to choose from... I'm glad you found one you really like. IMHO that is most of the battle to stay off the analogs.

If you keep up with your cleaning an eraser is all that is required. I stay away from emery cloth or anything that takes off metal to clean. The only time I use an abrasive is if the metal is pitted. Nice Post!

26650 Mod: Copper Mutant
Compenstine replied to The Vaping Viking's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
I spent my Mad Money for Mods on a Akuma. LOL I won't buying any for some time. I may try a 26650 in time, just not sure I like the size. -
Never mind, I should read better..you already tried bumping up the watts...

Are you referring to the Ego style and Twist battery chargers? These will not work for some batteries types. I only recommend the OEM chargers that come with these type of batteries. If your charger goes bad replace it with a OEM charger or better. JoyTech, from what I understand, is a good choice for a replacement and is the only UL listed charger for these style batteries.

Fine grain sand paper....to clean pins
Compenstine replied to DDK's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
This will work, but... A pencil eraser will do the same and not take a fine layer of the metal with it. Over time the sand paper will degrade the pin causing the need to replace it. Sometimes you will have heavy corrosion where sand paper is the best option, but if you use the eraser regularly it will keep the contact nice and shinny for a long time. -
You are welcome 3Rutez

Making coils takes practice and you also want a ohm meter or multimeter to check your ohms. You also want a battery that will be safe. Sony VTC 4 or VTC 5 are the most recommended. Please, do your research on building coils and battery safety before you get started. Depends on your build and wicking 3-5 Yes that Magneto is nice starting Mech.

Yeap same answer as they had clean the tank. I have had juice get really dark in my tank and it seems to come from the residue in the wick. That tells me it's time to change the coil, or with a rebuild rewick it. I have not had the spicy taste before, but Ma has... I'm thinking this may be what she is having trouble with. To me it was more of a burnt taste. Not like you get sometimes when the juice is burning more like someone added charcoal to my tank. Now when I see that dark color change, it's tank flush time.

Compenstine replied to UPChampa's topic in Wick and Wire
Either one will work, I use organic cotton my self. -
Kanger Sub Ohm Replacement Coils
Compenstine replied to Jeffb's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
Not really, I was running a .8 single I made and it worked great. It wicked good and could keep up. I'm just not sure how many people with Mechs will use a tank setup for it and then there is the safety factor of it all. I have seen some poorly wrapped stock Kanger coils and I'm not sure they have the quality control issues down to where I would one near my face, -
Yes they do. I like the combo lock idea makes for good child proofing.

Just did some quick searches on Rayon, I'm not sure...

Interesting stuff.

I agree with Chris, the Vaultz cases are nice. You can get them in store at Walmart in the Pharmacy section. They are located in the racks by where you pic up scrips.

I was out of town all day so we had stopped at a Restaurant, Big Boys, and had Burgers and Fries.

Yes do tell how you flattened the wire. I have see this done before and he wouldn't say how he did it.

Leftover BBQ Chicken and Split Pea Soup. *Burp... Excuse me! LOL it was tasty.
-
Yes for the most part they are the same, even in pricing they are very close. The VTC5 are higher mAh so they do last a few hours longer. Either one would be a good choice.

I would agree with a lot of what has been said already. If your just looking to get off analogs the cost is minimal compared to analogs. It gets costly when you start buying mods, RDAs, RBAs, Wire ...etc. Basically like Bcarter said, Juice and coils are your main expense to keep vaping once you have your batteries and tanks. You can even save on that if you DIY your juice and rebuild your coils over time. That is a slippery slope because that is when you get hit by the RDA, RBA bug.
-
And I get left over BBQ Chicken... LOL You all are making me hungry.
