  1. The short stem are not single coils they are dual. If you want a long stem take one off an old coil and replace the short one with a long one. Use the old silicon rubber as well. The short stems do leak more than the long stem. The ones in the VT store what as known as Med or standard stem. They are the one single coil atty's This is a short stem: This is a standard: Long Stem:
  2. Yeah I hate diaging a problem, but got it working right again. I like this Nautilus Tank so far. It does have good flavor and nice vapor production.
  3. I got my Nautilus in the mail Thursday. Been having some computer issues and have been down for a while with only my laptop. :p Dang computers. Finally got back up late last night.
  4. All the Vamos, except the SS version, are are just standard steel. I have not ever seen a Vamo in brass.
  5. If your sub ohming... I have found and have been told that anything under .7 - .6 is more about vapor production and Throat Hit (Heat) I'm a flavor junkie and that is what I chase. When .8 -..6 gives me that, I'm happy. I say find what works best for you and if that keeps you off analogs, then that is what you want.
  6. Here is a good place. Specialty Bottle
  7. I like between .8 and .6 it is just right for me. If I go lower the heat makes me cough.
  8. I like both for different reasons. I like the tank for portability and with a rebuilt coil flavor is good. I like to drip while I'm lounging around the house.
  9. I will be using it for some more complex flavors, but it will also be offered as a basic flavor on it's own.
  10. Got a new flavoring today along with some other re stock. Horehound If you have not tasted Horehound before it is has a distinct flavor. The best way I can describe it is a mapley root beer with a touch of Sassafras.
  11. Just got back for our Fireworks show over the lake. Happy 4th Everyone.
  12. *shakes head, WoW that is all I can think to say...just... WoW.
  13. I have been using 70pg/30/vg in mine and haven't had any flood issues...Take that back had one, but found the coil had loosened. After I tightened it down it stopped flooding.
  14. This started happening on my Magneto couple months ago. I took it apart cleaned all the threads and no more hot button. I was using the same battery. Josh makes a valid point.
  15. Sweet, I'll be there as a spectator. I'm interested to see who wins tonight.
  16. You should have kept going Jeff You could have got this one faster than I did.
  17. I would email the manufacturer and see if they will replace the base.
  18. I used distilled water to boil it. I know others that don't boil it, but I haven't noticed a difference. For me that was one reason I choose Organic. It is whitened only with peroxide and not bleach and other chems.
  19. Garden verity? You mean like grown in a home garden? Or just standard cotton balls in a bag. I tried that once and boiled it 4 times and still had a strange flavor. When I switched to organic no more bad taste. It had a slight after taste the first few draws but it went away quickly. I would say go with some organic cotton, boil it once and dry, you should be fine.
  20. Just want to post about this. Saturday we went to our local festival called "The Flea & Ox Roast". It basicly a big Flea market, Party and Carnival rides for the kido's. I met Steve Cook the writer of the Michigan Dogman song. Now before you start posting that it is fake and blah blah, yes it was an April fools joke he did for his WTCM radio program back in 1987. It has since went viral and has become a legend. I live in the area of this legend and it is well known around here. Steve Cook is a really down to earth guy that loves to tell a good story and he does a good job. All the proceeds from the song and movies over the years have gone, and go to Animal Rescue Shelters in our area. Two years ago he had a movie made and a 25th anniversary edition CD of the song that also includes some other spooky local stories. I bought the set and got a signed poster with this drawing. This year he had a second movie done and was at a local festival promoting it. I bought the second movie and had him sign it as well. I had told him the story of my Cat attacking the Dogman and chewing off his ears and he got a kick out of it. I then told him the story of my daughters boyfriend and scaring the crap out the boy playing the song. As I played the song I was telling him how close we were to these sightings and he went pale. LOL Steve Cook got a good laugh out of it and said, "Since you told me such a great story I'll give you a replacement poster at no charge." I will keep this one out of the reach of the cat so he can't chew it up. Poor Dogman, getting bested by a cat. LOL If you like a good story and want to help the shelters in our area, please take a trip to his web site and buy the 25th anniversary edition of the song DVD.
  21. Well I bought a Mega tank not long ago and it had these new coils with it. I had to strip one down after I used it up and wouldn't yeah know. Not so new after all. Have a look.
  22. Every buid you do looks better and better keep up the good work. I would agree though that it does look a little close to the sides. I bring mine within about 3/32th of inch away of my posts.
