Ok The juice, Is it Thick? If so in may have been mixed at 30pg/70vg instead of what you had before that was 70pg/30vg If the juice is high in PG it will be thin more like water. If it is high VG it will be thicker more like Kero syrup.

Before I move on to Juice... How old is your coil? Meaning How long have gone without changing it?

Yes she did, and a gave a basic answer of what "Dripping" is. It is opening dialog and "Keeping It Simple" I could have typed a long drawn out explanation of dripping down to building coils and how they correlate with dripping. Could have included wicking and all stuff. I chose to keep it simple so she will not get confused even further. I'm the type that when something is not understood I give out small chunks to keep the level of confusion low. If she wants more specific details then more direct questions are needed.

True fruit vapes are a hard one to nail because most flavorings are artificial and used for making candy. I have found a few, very few, but always looking for them. Some of my more popular flavors are Snickerdoodle, Buttered Popcorn, Spiced Apple, Apple Cider, Margarita, Home Canned Peaches and Watermelon. Other ones that are difficult to do a "true' flavor of are Chocolate vapes all have a somewhat artificial taste. That's not to say they are bad, just not "True" flavor.

Google is also a good source for research. http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-vegetable-glycerin.htm http://www.propylene-glycol.com/what-is-propylene-glycol/safety

You do realize that by using commercial tobacco to do this, you are also adding any chemicals that were added to it to your vape right? I do not recommend doing this if you want chem free E-Liquid.

You are welcome.

No your correct too. It could absolutely be a gunked up coil or a change in juice. If they are not getting the battery fully charged and in turn getting less vapor because of that, it could affect the TH. So to eliminate that first would be the way I would diag the problem. Sorry, I'm a tech guy and the best way for me to think is to divide and conquer. Correcting and eliminating the most simple first.

I think you need to be a little more specific. Basically "Dripping" is way of delivering Juice to the coil. When you Drip you are adding juice in drops from the bottle directly to the coil of your atomizer.

A low battery does affect vapor production, therefore affecting throat hit. Follow what Bebop suggested and get a full charge in your battery. If you still have less thoat hit then I would say it is the juice or coil. I'm also assuming you did not change juice brand or flavor during this issue.

Ethol Maltol is a sweetener, Cotton Candy is a sweetener. By adding both you really increase the sweetness. cut one or the other out completely. Substitute what you take away with PG or PGA. If it is still too sweet cut them both and add VG to cut the TA, VG can add sweetness.

Took me about a week. but stayed with 24mg for a long time. I mix up 24 mg during high times of stress when I want an analog. Yes to this day I still have cravings. It is different for everyone. Just do your best to grab that Vape and vape till that urge subsides. Finding a flavor you can vape that curbs the craving IMO is the key.

Keep up the good work! Welcome to V|T.

Well said Tam.

I have to agree stacking batteries in a MOD can only spell trouble. With 1 18650 or 1 26650 there is really no point in stacking. I agree with the OP in so much as this guy not teaching the issues with staking, and all the danger it can bring, was irresponsible. If this guy was working for me I would have chewed him out. I personally would not stack them matched or not, it is just not worth it.

Saw this on Vapinjg Greek and felt I should pass it on to everyone. If you looking at getting one of these Please watch this!

I gave you a link above, but if you can get good measurements this site is a good place to look. http://www.kjmagnetics.com/products.asp?cat=16 Fishguy makes a good point and I agree that trying to fix them my not be a good thing. As he said I would talk to where you bought it from and they just replace the MOD.

Ummmm You referring to me? A lot of people call me Comp here... BTW Yes I do CC from time to time so that makes me a Dumbass? I think it is lame to insult and Judge all for the stupidity of a few. ------------------------ "Though the explosion occurred during a cloud competition, the mod that blew up was not owned by any of the competitors in the contest." "the rest of the evening was hushed and subdued as conversations focused on the importance of safety" "(added 08/20/14) A NOTE FROM THE SHOW ORGANIZER: Please note that as a precaution; we, the event organizers decided to cancel the second cloud comp that was scheduled for Sunday. In light of what happened on Saturday, we used the time to have a battery safety class. It was very well received and I believe better attention was paid due to the events of Saturday evening. The entire rest of the day’s give aways focused on encouraging people to ditch bad/unsafe batteries. Many exhibitors stepped up with valuable prizes for surrendering bad batteries." -------------------------------- Those that do this and ignore the safety precautions are not too bright, that I agree on. The ones that think this is toy for amusement are the ones that should think twice about those around them. This is why when new people come on the forum we emphasize safety! Most friends I have that do these competitions are extremely safety conscious. It is the few that don't do the home work and follow ohms law that blow their face off and can harm others around them. I'm glad no one got hurt and hope this person learned a valuable lesson. Seems the people running the event were also doing the wise thing and teaching safety. Maybe what these events should have is a class in safety at every event, spot lighting things like this to show how dangerous it can be. Also add the old standby warning "This can be dangerous and should not be attempted without proper training."

Get some supper glue and repair the two magnets, then order 2 new ones. The repaired ones should get you by till the new ones arrive. You will have measure them so you get the right ones. http://www.vaperoyalty.com/chi-you-and-king-mod-magnet-switch-kit/

Just the mAh rating. Sony V4 is 2100 mAh Sony V5 is 2600 mAh

For accuracy yes .5 is a lot. but that is the whole point of why you should not ever trust an APV for ohms testing. A .5+- is not unusual for an APV ohm reader. If my Fluke was off by that much I would throw it away.

New to vaping, would like some ideas on a vape build/set up?

LOL You are forgiven ... This time. -
I started making my own for the simple fact I would know exactly what I was going in it. They are pumping out juice by the gallons to make it less expensive. I'm not saying it has harmful stuff in it, just saying reputable makers, even Chinese E-Liquid makers, add the ingredient listing on the box or bottle. Regulated or not that is just one of those things that should be there.

Just know that the device is not accurate and what you top it with could effect that. They are meant for protecting the device from damage more than giving accurate readings. Unless your building coils, you really don't need an ohm meter unless you want one. These odd readings are normal between devices and like christov11 said, can be off by .5 to even .7 in these devices. Your reading is only off by .6 so I wouldn't worry about it.
