Some Juice takes heat of an RDA better than others. A juice that is high in PG and or Nicotine is best in tank at around 1.5-2.0 ohm coil. Higher VG juices can take the heat a little better, but the added flavorings can become an issue. You can build an RDA for flavor you just need a coil with a good surface area and your ohms should be .8 or above. Coil build plays a key roll in any tank or RDA if flavor is what your after. Air flow can also be be a factor. If you have high air flow it can kill the flavor as well as a very restricted air flow. I personally like a Tiger coil at around 1.0 to .8 with a medium air flow and 30pg/70vg to get the best flavor.

We all went the Tobacco route to start, at least most of us did. I still vape a tobacco from time to time, but yes they do not taste like a cigarette.

Just re assure him it is normal for the first week or two and having the right flavor is important. Sounds like he is doing very well. I suggest a cigar or tobacco flavor mix as an option.

I just want to add that the kit you bought is a re branded EVOD or EVOD clone, and yes it should get you by and make a good backup to your next unit.

RDA RTA What information were you needing? Many of us use them, just need a little more to go on. The Aqua 2 is an RTA not sure how good they are, I would recommend a Russian or Kayfun. They are well known and well liked.

If it were just the USB I would say send it, but with the button broke it would cost as much for a new set of boards as would a new unit.

Ouch Yea if you broke that button it would be cheaper to just get a new unit.

I have them as well and have at least one of these boards above here at my shop (authentic for Evolv). I used to solider plugs on laptops all the time. it would be a simple job for me.
