IMO I guess it would depend on what you have for wire. I like the Tiger coil you will need to twist 30ga round and 0.5 flat to make it. There are so many types of coils that you can do at 1 ohm it is kind of hard to answer.

Personally I don't go below .5. To me when you start going below that is is just like skating on thin ice, one day it will crack and then it is to late. I know others do, but I just won't.

I mostly go with 24-18 but will vape anything from 24-0. I like 4-0 when I use my mech. I don't have any desire to lower or stop vaping so it is not something think about much. I like hearing others drop and the ones that just stop vaping. It is their goal and when someone meets that goal, it is worthy of respect.

I wouldn't use the water, but some people do. The only thing you may damage is the coil. It is a crap shoot when it comes to the coil popping. If you do get water in your mod it could damage it. That is a slim risk, but could happen.

You can not burn the wick in a stock KPT coil. It is Silica and takes 1300 degrees to even phase it. But, you do run the risk of blowing the coil. What you are doing is called dry burning.

Sounds like the drop may have loosened a wire and you are not getting contact. It could also be the contact pin is pushed in and not making contact with the charger. Take a paper clip and gently pull the pin up on the battery just a bit and try it on the charger again.

Negligible, you will get more out of either one by bumping the Watts or Volts.
