Yes I'm looking at the V2 I'm kinda torn between that and the Joytech eVic VT and some of the CLR coil heads.

The Heartvape Mini 50W is the one I have had my eye on and Sweetvapes has them for $45. I have heard mix reviews about it. I do like the fact that it is damn near indestructible and water proof (wet proof anyway). With want happen with my XPV I was hoping for more in the waterproof than what has been stated about it. Even though it is a selling point for me being where I live. At $45 it is more easily replaceable than my other mod should something go wrong.

Coils that come with the tanks (any tank) have a rep for being crap. You should always by a pack of 5 with any tank you get. For me it is just habit anymore. This is not just a Kanger issue, also Aspire tanks. As far as customer service, Innokin, Aspire and most have iffy CS. Unfortunately, it is left to most vendors to deal with these little issues. Having said all that, If you did not prime the coil it is why you are not seeing a wick. All it takes is one blast of the fire button to burn it off.

It is a natural occurrence in some flavors as well. It is in such small amounts that it is (by what I have found) negligible. It is when it is added is when it becomes an issue. Yes you want to cut off at the post. Kanthal is much more forgiving, but it is not a good practice even with kanthal. With Kanthal there is a risk of shorting out. With Ni it plays hell with the chip calculating it properly. You would have a similar issue if you did a macro or micro with the coils squeezed together. Every thing I have read recommend a coil that is not touching any other par of itself and to use short leads.
