It may be that customs is delaying shipments for the FDA. I have been waiting a while for a shipment that seems to in vape mail limbo. I had this happen when I had my B&M going. As soon as it would come in... I had so many people waiting on stuff that it would be gone in a couple days. I would then have to order again... so it was back to the long wait. It always seemed like the bigger the order the longer it was held up. The hold up was always customs not my supplyer. They whould always ship it out within 48 hrs or less of my placing an order.

My wife likes the mint flavors and I set her up with a IClear 16 about a month ago. I have heard about the cracking issues with some flavors and have been keeping a close eye on it. So far no issues. I think I should add I stay away from oil base flavors in my DIY juice. The oil had been known to damage coils so I just don't use it. I have heard that adding everclear or absolute to the oil base flavors can fix that issue, not sure if it has any effect on the tank cracking issues. Even looking at this thread all the juices mentioned are for the most part an oil base.

Getting a little discouraged
Compenstine replied to loneranger721981's topic in General Vaping Discussion
For me vaping was a way to get off analogs. I loved to smoke so in the past I always fell short of quiting. Vaping changed that for me. When my wife grumbles about what I spend on vape gear and supplies I remind her that I'm not smoking and spending $18.00 per day on analogs and spend maybe $0.00-$40 a month on stuff. That is less than what I spent in 3 days on analogs. She smoked too so I also added that card. It does cost a bit to get going then adding in playing and experimenting. I just figure that so long as I'm not spending more on vape gear than I did analogs I'm still saving, not just money but my heath as well. I see people get all bent up about vaper production. Me I didn't get into Vaping to become a walking fog machine. LOL It is cool to see the huge clouds and all but I think for an everyday vape, I just want to emulate the best I can to an analog or just a bit better. Don't loose sight of what you started vaping for. The big vapor clouds fall in that "Play" catagory for me and not why I started or continue to vape. -
I'll be doing it from now on for my syringes. I still have my old ones in a box that use when exact measuring isn't needed.

Any suggestions on which tank I should buy
Compenstine replied to Patricia's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I like the KPT2 I have. it is the glass tank and fills from the bottom. That is not a problem for me because, I even take my top loading tanks off my unit to fill. Just don't want to risk a spill getting into the unit. -
Best setup I have ever had!

I'm really curious about this. I found this in a google search for "1/16 7x7 stainless steal cable" I'm wondering if the 6x26 would wick even better than the 7x7... Seems this stuff is used as fishing guide line, also for farming and aircraft applications. That may make it easyer to find localy. -
Nope, did not think of that. Not to late for the new ones though. I'm still glad I finely ordered the glass graduates though.

I hate plastic syringes. I was doing up some flavors last night and the markings wore off my last syringe. I have been meaning to get some glass graduated cyilinders but always froget to add them to an order or they are out of stock. Well last night was a bust after just 3 mixes. E-fluid is a good paint remover when it comes to syringes. Today while I was out I went on search for some in local stores. Not a 1 to be had anywhere in the town I was in. Mind you I live in the sticks and the closest town is 30 miles away. Hobby Lobby is 100 miles. I know they have them. Needless to say I ordered some today and have to wait a week for them to arrive. I was hoping to atleast find a hobby store or a place that sells wine making stuff and get 1 to get me by till the new ones arrive in the mail. The last place I stopped was a medical supply store, not hoping forr much I went in and asked if they had any. I told them what I needed them for and mentioned the proble I had with the plastic syringes. The guy behind the counter said "hummm come with me..." He walked me back into the store room and asked if these would get me by... He handed 4, 5ml syringes and 1 60ml syringe. He then said here yeah go, no charge! I thanked the man with a hand shake and a smile and said that will get me by till I can order what I need. Lesson learned: There are still good people out there and if you are going to DIY fluid, don't go long without ordering glass graduates!

My thought is how online sales are going to be affected... They real can't stop an online purchase of e-cig porducts to select cities...

1 year anniversary of vaping ! YAY
Compenstine replied to subnuclear's topic in General Vaping Discussion
After my first year of vaping at 49, I kept up with kids and went on bike outings down the Kal Haven trail with them. I hadn't been able to ride a bike in many years. Many Cheers For You! I know how good it can feel to be analog free and living life again! -

Can you please post a pic of the cable you are using for this? There are many kinds of cable out there and pick would help. I'm assuming it is like the braided stuff you would find in coax...? -

What guage Kanthal wire to use? N00B help!
Compenstine replied to VaperKitty's topic in Wick and Wire
What RBA (Rebuildable Atomizer) do you have? I stay away from fiberglass wicking. Other than that it really depends on the atomizer. Silica will work in 99.9% of the atomizers. Some people prefer cotton, and some use Stainless Steal Mesh. If your just starting I would recomend Silica for a tank and cotton for RDA (Rebuildable Drip Atomizer) Being new to building coils I would suggest 32ga. But always, Always check the ohms with a multimeter before attaching it to your device. should read between 2 and 1.3 ohms Wire gage numbers go from 32 being thin and 28 being thick. The lower the number, the thicker it gets. The thicker wire is best for Low ohms 1.00 or lower, the thiner gage is best for higher ohms 1.3 or higher. As lanab8 said do a youtube search for.. Rebuilding a "your atomizer" (insert your brand atomizer in the quotes) and you will find info for rebuilding your atomizer. -

Consume mass quantities. LOL Does finding an E cig count? I was in a local gas station last week and found an Ego CE4 clone on the floor. I turned it in to the manager thinking someone would return for it. They said if no one clamed it after a week I could keep it. It had been a week so I asked about it today and it was still there... it is now mine. -
Tesla Short Circuit - Wont Fire! - HELP!
Compenstine replied to Beats's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Sounds like you just have a bad unit, I would just go and get the replacement. I had SID do the same thing. With it saying short no matter what you do it will only get worse in time. Not sure what company makes the Tesla. E-joy, SMY are coming up but as you said, no site. -

If it were me, I would first contact customer service. If you just received it they may replace it. Where/Who did buy it from? Look at the site and see what the return policy is. If you are using a rebuildable atty they may not take it back. -

Did you try a different Atty/Tank, Check ohms with a meter... not your mod -
Yeah they do look like a sweet item. I have 3 IGO-Ls and 3 IGO-Ws (older version) and a Trident on the way as well. I should have them next week. I think that should be enough to get me the tester attys I wanted. I like the Nimbus but I spent my budget on these.

That looks awesome I been seeing the quad setups. I will be giving it a shot when they come in. Just nabbed 2 they were showing them at $14 and change.
