How is it possible to have a Juice that is a true 100% VG? This is a question that has been bugging me for a while now. I have done enough DIY over the years to know that 99.9% of flavorings are either PG base, Oil Base, or Alcohol Base. At best, it could only be 5pg/90vg once the flavoring is added. Some would even be a higher percentage of PG/Oil/Alcohol depending on how much base flavoring is added. Having said that, VG does not absorb flavor very well. So, in most cases it has more flavoring added to it cutting the percentage down even more.

Cool! I would be interested in a coop of devices as well, Just depends on what they will be. Orig Vamo and Chi You clones would be my prime choice. I would consider others if the pricing was right. But as you have said, Volume is key to pricing.

Think of wire like a hose for electricity the bigger the hose, the more electricity can flow freely, less restriction. Ohms measure the flow of electricity in the wire like water pressure in a hose. As the hose gets smaller the more restricted the flow gets. The length also plays a factor in the Ohms, the longer the wire, the higher the ohms. What I know about placing the wire close to positive does only one thing,. It shortens the wire in turn dropping the ohms by a very small amount. All the videos I have seen mention to do this, but none have really explained why. But I have noticed with the RBA I have (T2), it seems to make a difference in it being more stable, meaning the ohm readings don't bounce when i check it.

Wire size, drop to 30-32 gauge Kanthal you will have much better luck. 28ga will work but you need at least 12 wraps. You want your lowest ohm reading at 1.5 to 1.7. 5 wraps with 30ga or 4 wraps with 32. Also you want the top of the coil as close to the + post as you can get without touching it. Some people add a small washer to the post. This will allow the coil to be close to positive and still be straight.

I would go in on a Kanger coop as well Proetus, Depending on price... at least 10-15 and coils as well, same numbers.

Are there any Northern Michigan Vape Clubs? If not, is anyone interested in helping create one? Or Joining one if one is created? I live in North West MI. Cadillac, Baldwin, Manistee, Ludinging Big Rapids area and am interested in starting (if there is not one already) or joining a vape club in this area. I live almost smack dab in the middle of this general area. If I could gather enough interest in this area, I know I could easily garner support from local businesses to give us meeting places.

They have a duel purpose, One is to make the top cap fit snug, the other is for a seal. Over time they will wear or can get damaged and will need replaced

I was having this same problem on my Lavafire, What I found thru my testing was the rubber grommet for the pin on the KPT2 had weakened and was expanding cutting off the air flow. Replacing the coil assembly fixed the issue. This happened after my device got hot. I mean untouchable hot. I think the heat weakened the grommet making it softer than normal. Try swapping out the coil assemble and see if you still have airflow issues.

Well the SID is acting odd, cutting off for no reason. I have to disconnect the battery for 5 seconds to get it working again. I get a "Low Vol" message now when the battery reaches 3.4 volts. Since I now have a Vamo V5 it has become my back up for my backups

Got my Vamo V5 (Gun Metal) So far I like it.

Just got my Vamo V5 and the threads are smooth. So far I like it better than the SID.It is a little smaller around and feels better in my hand. My SID is acting up after its dunk so this Vamo is going to be my everyday unit. Could just be me, but I swear it has better vapor production that the SID at the same settings. Thinking it has better air flow.
