I chain vape so I get it. My wife was always (not so much now) getting on me for vaping to much. saying "You always have that with you and you use it constantly, you use it more than ever did cigarettes." My response, "I can always go buy a pack and be done with it..." the answer would always be te same, "No." LOL so yeah vape away and leave the guilt behind.

That is disappointing but, coil heads are still something I would do.

I was reading other articles connected to studies of toxins in E-cigarette fluids. These studies are linked on the right hand side of the study that prompted this post. These articles all show similar toxins that affect Human Embryonic Stem Cells and much less toxic to Adult Human Stem Cells. They attribute these Toxins not to Nicotine but to the flavorings added to the fluid. I'm not sure how to asses this except that this does not just involve "cinnamon flavors" but could be true with other flavorings. I look at all the known Toxins in analogs and the harm it does to the human body and compare those to this. I'm not so sure IMO that this is a "smoking gun" to drop the E-Cigarette as a way to get away from analogs.

The reason I ask is that I make my own cinnamon flavoring from Cassia Cinnamon. Not the artificial concentrates most used. I have been adding to my tobacco juices for what 4 years now. it is my everyday vape

Hummmm I'm not a scientist but there are 2 kinds of cinnamon, Ceylon Cinnamon and Cassia Cinnamon this study only tested Ceylon Cinnamon flavorings. These are also highly concentrated flavorings. It states that "Cinnamon Ceylon was the most cytotoxic of 36 products tested." I wonder if the other, Cassia Cinnamon, would test the same. A very large percentage of the Cinnamon flavorings are also artificial. These samples also contained Vanillin found in the vanilla bean: Vanillin Chemical Compound Vanillin is a phenolic aldehyde, which is an organic compound with the molecular formula C8H8O3. Its functional groups include aldehyde, ether, and phenol. It is the primary component of the extract of the vanilla bean. So does this mean vaping Vanilla flavors are also harmful?

So make sure your junk in not plated, it will not turn a nice purty blue. It will in fact, bubble up and look like crap. What is the point of chrome plating Stainless?

No, you can get some good deals on Ebay and Amazon though. You want to start with Kanthal A1 32, 24, and or 28 gauge. There are other types, but my advice is to wait on them until you comfortable building coils.

It was a while back but I did a mix with some hazelnut flavoring from a heath food store and it was alcohol base. It was about 70/30 Flavoring to VG and I got a buzz from it. LOL Didn't do that again LOL

I'm thinking about doing my KPT mini, then the base will match the rest of it.

Proetus I think you missed this , But not sure it will matter, If it don't go it will just leave me wiggle room for the DNA 20.

So far the best price I have found is at The House of Vapor for the DNA 20, The 12 is best at the Evolv site same with the USB charging board.

Been looking over there, thanks for pointing out what section to look in. Found some helpful info there. I still may go with this but the DNA 12 may be a better all around option for what I'm doing. I don't know.... May just get one of each and see which is better for my build. They both have pluses and minuses. The OLED display on the 20 is the one thing the 12 is missing that I want in this build. The 12 has the lower ranges and can do sub ohm. LOL

I have and RSST coming in vape mail, I want to do some wicking experiments. It seems to be better built than the AGT2... I hate the center post lead connection on the AGT2. I think I'll be doing a twist coil on it.
