  1. LOL yeap I could that and sell it for around $10
  2. LOL I wouldn't do this to a fluke. But you did give me Idea... Make one that would plug into a fluke or other meter.... Just like the plug in cables...
  3. I thought about making them for sale but figured since you can buy a working meter from FT for $11.00 that it wouldn't sell at the price I would have to charge. Meter was $36 parts and labor figured in I would have to charge $50. If I thought people would pay that I could make them....
  4. This is what I use. from a cheap Radio Shack meter
  5. I wish I could find those in bulk, it would be nice addition for my site. I just got done looking at Fasttech and none the have go down that low. I did a search on " When the measurement is below 1.00Ohm, the meter will display mOhms, or 1/1000s of an Ohm, instead of Ohms." Almost every one came up saying the same info. Wondering i there are some that do this that are on fast tech and just isn't mentioned in the description..
  6. RBAs were really not meant to used on a twist. As fishguy said just get a KPT 2 pro or Mini and rebuild the atty cartridge. Once you get good at rebuilding those, moving to RBA would be your next step,
  7. You will have your hard days but that is what is nice about having the support of friends here. Power through you'll make it. Like you said yourself, tomorrow is a new day.
  8. My personal preference are the Kanger Pros 2, 3, mini etc. The Nova should be fine. I don't know it the tip will react, There are many different plastics that react differently to different chemicals.
  9. I would consider getting glass tanks. As far as not vaping it... I think I would be hesitant as well. I don't think the juice will harm you but I would not vape from that tank anymore without replacing the plastic. You don't know what the reaction may have added to the fluid that is in the tank. I stay away from plastic tanks now. Just my personal preference.
  10. That still may be possible, do have enough for a few mods. Let me see how much I can salvage and if you still have one, I would trade you enough to build a mod. I know I want to build a couple stands too. I think it would be cool to have a nice Wood Box DNA 30 and a stand in matching wood for my personal collection. I'm glad Proetus did this thread, I will be looking at it as I start buying parts.
  11. Lets see here I have .... and ....JK I think if it were me I would look for a couple nice His & Her Mods. Then if there was any left, I would hit fast tech. I'm sure you could find some useful stuff. If you decide not to go for Mods $300 would go a long way for supplies at FT no doubt. Either way, let us know what you get.
  12. Never mind, I see House of Vapors finally has them in stock . LOL I didn't think you would be willing part with them anyway. I'll be ordering 1 today.
  13. If either one of you want to sell one of your DNA 30s just PM me. I decided to deviate from my other build. I have an old 1930s 40x40 view camera. It is made from 1st gen mahogany. I'm going to be using the wood for a DNA 20 or 30 build. I would like to put a DNA 30 in it. The wood is worth way more than the camera and it will make a beautiful mod. There is enough wood to do maybe 10-15 mods.
  14. Oh yeah! It is mostly cloudy with short periods of monitor light.
  15. Here is a pic of the build as it ended up. If you notice, one post is toast. I was widening the slot with screwdriver tip and, SnAp So besides needing to order a new Trident it came out .35 right on the nose. Also, This is good example of why you should clean your deck before building. Besides the dirt (Yuck) notice in the red circle there is a metal shaving. This is a short waiting to happen. As you can see it is long enough to short out either set of posts. Point... Always clean your deck before you build and take a close up pic to see if and shavings are left behind. Vape Safe! After this shot, I gave it good vodka bath and all is good now. Time to wick-her up and see how she vapes.
  16. I'm hoping so LOL here is a pic of the twist... I need a little practice twisting 3 wires but I think it is a pretty clean twist.
  17. Now that I have some Sony vtc4s I decided to rebuild my Trident tonight. Doing a double 28ga round and a single .9 flat twist. Showing at .70-72ohms per every 3 inches. should come out to .35 ish for the build doing duel coils. I'll post up pics when I get it done.
  18. LOL I didn't want one at first, but now that I have them and can see it... It is becoming very hard not to open one up and test it out.
  19. You just have to remember that it may take some time, but the price is good and you can wait, do it. If you need now, expect to pay a little extra. It's all good either way.
  20. I think either way could be correct. I see them as Mech Mods and VV/VW APV Mods. The main point is learn don't put the cart before the horse.
  21. Thanks I like it. I picked it up at Radio Shack a few years ago. They still carry them as far as I know. It is hands free soldiering hobby stand. I just took off the magnifing glass because it was in the way. Cost around $16.00
  22. Efest and Sony for me. I here MHKE is a good brand as well as Panasonic and NCR.
  23. Beware of Fake Batteries. This is about Trustfire Fakes.
  24. No, it has a brushed finish. It is not polished.
