Yes it is, I just couldn't pass it up. It is more than I have ever paid for a MOD but I'm not regretting it. Leo had set up 7 for sale so I feel very lucky that I got one. I have been wanting a copper mod too so Yeah. I'll be dreaming in copper tonight. LOL

What batteries do you have now?

I tried the nickel chromium just to see what it is like and I'm not impressed at all. It lasts 1/2 the time of Kanthal and melts when you try to do anything less than 1.2ohms. Stick with Kanthal don't waste your time or money on NC wire.

I will say that it makes me feel good to know that what I'm making fits right in to the upper shelf. Hearing it lets me know I'm doing it right. Thanks Bebop. My goal is not to the best, just one of the best. With all the juice that is out it is difficult to achieve and even harder to maintain. Thank you to everyone that is enjoying what I have worked on for so long. It is the intensive I need to keep striving to do what I do.

I like the Kanger Pro II tanks myself. The Pro Mini II's are nice as well.

Some people boil it to get a better taste. I have found that after a few, 2-3 draws the taste goes away. With cotton less is better. I have some hemp that I have not tried yet. I take that back I did try it once and guess I didn't prep it right because it was very harsh to me. Some say it is better than cotton. Only use enough cotton to fill the inside of the coil and have about 1/4 in on ea side. Don't twist it tight, keep it as loose as possible.

Mine is the same, I think it adds to the character.

So long as the gauge is right I don't see why not. The advantage of silicone is flexibility and high temp resistance.
