Travis the only benefit i see to boiling is changing flavors or burnt taste removal. I think it does lower the life of my atties if I add up all the ones I have tossed its one dead every two weeks roughly with all my ecigs total except the Vapor King you use more with cartomizer models but they are cheaper but I cant get two weeks out of one of those either but they cost 25% less than a cheap atty .3-7 refills is all I get on those and I have used 12 so far..But I toss mine if they produce low vapor or die all together.

If the PTB is working just forget the auto drip im tossing my auto drip stuff after 2 days trial with the PTB mod.Until its beat the PTB and 510 are champ....

Jeff you really need to try the PTB mod.I refill cart filler easy with 6-8 drops and keeps me going for a while.It will hold more(10-12) but if it leaks its bad.Its not polyfill so no burnt poly taste and it flows real well.Refilled the same one today or topped off more than 10 times so far..

Ya me too 2-4 ml a day.I am lucky if a 16ml bottle lasts a week..I attest more usage to staying in the house..To easy to pick it up and keep on going.I think my 510 is wearing out atties in 2-3 weeks.They work just not like a new one.

I have made 6 carts so far and the vertical fold works better for me ..Turn the top down like a bed sheet maybe 2 or 3 times then roll and cut to lenght.When you are done and its in the cart it looks like a car cig lighter coil in the top of the cart with the folded thicker side to the top where the atty goes.They refill well without removing PTB material and have only had one leak think I overfilled it!!!And the vapor is consistant and when it drops off you know its time to fill it back up!!!Best mod so far..Tried it in a Blu cig cart and havent got it right they may be too small to work right...

Okay I am going to get some of this Today...I need to do some X-mas shopping and have no excuse for not picking up a box on the way home!!!Will let you know later how it works for me... Thanks to all for the tips!!

I dont know why I havent rushed to the store to get some PTB to try this..My current 510 atty does not like the dripping method it floods way to easy.IF I use a spring auto mod it works fairly well to great or just topping off.I have saved all my old carts so I can make plenty of these to try and from what I read they work better and dont need to have springs and a pic to put it together on the go.The biggest issue for me is the polyfill hanging out when I refill on the go and needing to carry a tack or something to take it out and refill and push it in.Why do they even use poly anymore!! LOL....

One more Question how many times can you refill it before you have to trash it or can you just clean it and reuse.

I had the same Smoking everewhere mall experience.. 1 cart $2 equals 2 packs...A Big Lie!!!!Maybe a half if you use sparingly.. Overpriced kit $120..2 batteries one charger one atomizer and 15 carts.Would cost less than $60 for all that almost anywhere online. But it did get me here(Kudos to VT) and this forum is where I send new recruits for info.

Please be very carefull with anything you use to clean a atomizer with as any residue will be inhaled!!! The topic has come up for general cleaning and distilled water,tap water,pure alcohol,are the safest.I dont know for sure if anyone has used alcohol in a ultrasonic cleaner. The boiling method with water is sure to do no harm... Anyone else please chime in......

I am very happy to Vape instead of smoke and am glad that my Sin Tax money is going to a more usefull source.They took advantage of us for too long!!!

I got a black one(Metal)from Altsmoke for 24$ and it works fine ..I havnt run it through heavy use yet but it works with auto and man batteries..I only think there is one model out there available in many colors..But for the 510 user its a must have on the go.....

What size straw and type of fill and how much are you using..

After some trials with the spring auto drip mod I have run across vapor lock where the liquid wont flow,Some of the issue was with too much polyfill but it didnt fix the problem completly.Would only work for half the cart maybe.Back to dripping for now..
