I put a order in for 10 510 cartos from Vapor Kings and some adapters for my old RN4081 atties to use them with 510 batteries.cant wait to see these thinks work..If they work like my KR cartos I will be happy. The whole dripping slimy leaking 510 thing gets on my nerves but it does kick out some good vapor!!I have KR cartos that are weak also so I toss them and refill the good ones for a few days and then toss them.I dont use that many in a week. The 510 ones are supposed to hold more about twice as much so that will be nice to refill less often.Should have them in by the end of the week so I'll let yall know what I think of them....

I just peel the color label off and wrap scotch tape around it(takes 2 slight overwraps to get it covered) and you get a nice silver carto.Looks really good with my white or black batteries.I dont even worry with the label sticky gunk left over since it is now under the tape. I have noticed some of my cartos(KR808D) have the label over the 4 vent slots.Looks like a factory defect as they are not supposed to be like that.Just be carefull not to tape the slots if you use auto batteries the draw will be tougher....

Thanks Jeff got that one running...

Everything I've Read About Cartomizers Is True
SteveD1 replied to Brandon's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I am sure they are refillable(let us know if they are not) there is always a way..Even the new sealed(glued on cap) premium cartos from V4L are fillable with the cover method.I dont use my 510 much since I got my VK and the 510 cartos may get me back to it especially if they produce more vapor and same great flavor. Carts are dead IMO and Cartomizers are the future!!!! Cant wait to hear how they(510 cartos) work!! Old KR Carts come alive at 5V with a cheap $20 passthru from V4L.I dont use batts at home most of the time I plug in a AC to USB(1200mah) and attach my V4L PT and 5V at the couch all evening!!!It gives me 510 like vapor with 1-3 hour refills depending on use. -
How Much Juice Do You Use On Average?
SteveD1 replied to hardwired's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I use about 15-20 mils a week also. The Kr808D-1 Pass thru uses more when I am at home and my 510 model uses about the same.I use my KR batteries and cartomizers while on the go to cut back on refills.I only use 8-9mg refill E-liquid and cartos.A 3ml dropper bottle will refill my KR cartos 4-6 times about a days worth for me in the KR or about a days worth for my 510. Give Arno at Awesome Vapor's 555 a try its good!! its $10 for 16ml and a 3ml sample of something. Vapor4life's cartomizers for the KR in 555 taste good too and they sell NoBacco Juice($3 for 5ml) in 555 to use as a refill or drip whatever.I need to get some to refill my KR carts. There refill in other flavors works well for the KR carts. -
I see alot of posts about people with the Janty EGO or the Totally Wicked Tornado, they are the same model just different names and they are 510 big battery mods that are pretty compact.Might want to give one of those a try.I dont have one yet but I do have the 510 charging case and it is good thing to have for standard batteries to keep them charged while your on the go...

I think this is Cool as Hell just be carefull with the battery in the phone I dont know if it is made to handle the loads or is safe for that ap. And it plugged in doubles as a PT at home or in the car!!!! I-Phone eat your heart out...ROFL

Also watch for cart fibers getting into the coil they will melt and leave that burnt poly flavor. After they get crusted some and/or get dry between re drips or top offs I taste the old burnt toast flavor. If redripping or topping off doesnt help I clean them or replace it.I get 4-6 weeks out of mine and keep 2 in service at a time for different flavors, one for menthol stuff and one for tobacco flavors...

If you dont mind sharing this info with the UK proposed ban issue it would be great. They need hard evidence from doctors showing the benefits to people who use PV's. I left my opinion and if you havnt this would help alot.

I added my comments as well... Lets help them cause I bet we are helping ourselves as well and they came to our aid last summer with the FDA...

The Anti-Smoking Movement And The Electronic Cigarette

I just wake up and Have a cup of Community Coffe and sometimes vape my Cappachino flavor too!!! -
I would really like to know if this is true I heard the rumor a while back on this or another forum and if they let him use it I am sure that it would have to really be way less dangerous than real tobbacco or they would refuse him the use of it.This would be some of the best PR if it would get out in a credible media news etc. I am not a big fan of the Pres we have but this is important for us!!!

What model is it ..Kinda looks like a 901 cart but im not sure....IF the carts are 901's then all I need is a few 901 atties for my KR batteries and I have a local backup if I need it.. Best thing about this Is I can say they sell these things at Wal-Mart and the people that ask about them will know its for real if Wal-Mart has it they must be OK LOL... I was mad about the Pay-Pal thing especially since Arno at Awesome Vapor used them until they switched to something else and I order regularly from them. Pay Pal will come around someday the $ is headed that way more and more...IF they want some they better get right!!!

Its not a sickness your a Pioneer in a whole new thing..One day we will look back and say can you believe we used to have to do that!!!! What will E-Cigs look like, work like and be like in 5-10 years????

My 510 with inline battery PT works with the lower capacity car to USB adapters but my Vapor King 5V wont hardly heat a Cartomizer on the same adapter due to the low Mah rating.I need a better car adapter for my VK unit and they have them at Vapor4Life and the one shown for AC to USB from Vaporlife is something else I need for max performance also.I quit using batteries at home and Vape PT style on AC power 95% of the time.

Yes and another tip is battery connectors tend to get wet when you flood the atty that can cause weak atty/charging performance. I wipe mine with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and they clean right up then dry with the other end of Q-tip.The atty can be twisted in a paper towel to clean the threads dont use alcohol here as you will taste it as it will leak into the air holes..And blowing out the old juice and/or flood into a paper towel occasionally works well too and then wipe the threads.Keeping a stock cart topped off seems to be the least messy of all as the juice seems to stay put better for me.I have tried the PTB cart mod and get some that work well and some that just leak to much.

This will be a must try item since I use a KR most of the time..My 510 batt to KR adapter was a poor performer for me so these 510 cartomizers could be great for me...Like my 510 just dont like the drip ritual to get the most out of it...
-
The KR batteries and 901 atties are also compatible..I need to get some 901 atties to try myself..I use my KR all the time now I just got tired of the 510 mess and constant dripping and leaking, juice in the mouth etc.I have two different KR battery styles 3 have the slit in the center post and 4 do not.The cartomizers have a slot already in the Vapor Kings/Vapor4life models..I find the draw is easy almost too easy with the batteries with the slots combined with the cartomizers with the slots..Only drawback to the cartomizers is less vapor on average than a 510 but my weaker ones I use with a 5 volt passthru and it wakes most of them up alot!!

Awesome Vapor 555 in my Vapor King 5 volt PT....

Power and more Power is what we need in small light packages..This could be really cool for us and cars of the future!!!
-
Even if the charger is bad I some times have issues with my battery connectors getting dirty and this will transfer to the chargers which is hard to clean.I have been more proactive in wiping the connectors clean before charging to help eliminate that problem also!!may want to get in that same habit. My 510 is a messy unit for me and the batteries really get wet but are real easy to clean by design. My KR model is harder to clean but I am trying to keep it as my routine to clean them if they need it.I either wipe them off or clean with a Q-Tip with alcohol...I have the capacity to charge 4 batteries at once with both models with pcc/usb/2 wall chargers for both models. So backups is recomended!!

My auto KR batteries stick on from time to time and my manual Kr also but they have a cutoff of 10 seconds to protect them.My 510 batteries have never stuck on and it has no cutoff.sounds like you have a dud you need to send it back if you have a warranty or get another spare or two.I dont really make it a habit of taking mine apart but with the 510 toghether in a pocket it could be trouble.

I just had a routine test at work and nothing showed on the test as I expected,I have no reason to worry there is nothing in E-Cigs that will show up and I dont mess with anything illeagal!!! You will be fine!!!
