I lost track of this thread for a bit I've only used LorAnn's, but after re-reading all this, I guess I need to get on ordering some other flavorings. I got away from diy because, for me, the LorAnn's isn't sweet enough. (For instance, the peppermint. It's like Altoid's peppermint, not candy cane.) I need to get back into the game, and try some other suppliers! I just placed an order to LorAnn's to re-stock my Keoke Coffee, Butter Rum, and Bavarian Creme... while there, I decided to order a candy thermometer and some candy molds. Soooo many flavors that will never get vaped, thought I should try my hand at candy making! LOL!

OMG!! I saw the video on the bottom left, didn't even watch it, but now I'm remembering the smell of my hands! Just that still shot of the guy with that cig butt so close to his fingers.... I realized that my hands are no longer "molting" from washing the stink off so much. My hands used to be soooo dry! Yet another benefit of vaping, no more ashtray fingers!

That site you linked looks like a scam to me. Their juice is $35 for 15 ml!! And, yes, their e-cigs look like any other lower priced e-cigs. Looks like their way of getting people to think they can only use "their" pieces with "their" juice... all of which are way too over priced!

I'm reading that as still cigarettes, not e cigs. Looks like it's still something that's lit, i.e. "smoke" producing. Which would make sense that they're still cancer causing.

I almost ordered from that company. But, when I got to the shipment page of the order, I got off the site and went to the VT store. The shipment was WAY to costly to be coming from anywhere in the U.S., and it also said something about up to 25 days to get here. I'd see if you can cancel the order.

Very well written. My mom and I have talked numerous times about how much money the gov't would lose if all the smokers were to actually quit. Not to mention all the tobacco industry jobs.

That's awesome! Good Job! Edit to add: Forgot to say something about my setup! I'm a girl, we have lots of carrying things. I actually use a change purse from an old purse. It's about the depth of a 10ml bottle, and holds extra atty's, battery's, juice. You know, all the stuff a girl needs.

I was an ultra lights smoker, too. There's No way I could vape 48mg! OMG! I almost exclusively vape 6mg. Although, this evening was the first time in the past week or so that I've craved an analog, so I dripped 16mg VT mentha. (At this point, a shout-out to Christopher is necessary... Thanks for the sample!!!! You saved me from an analog. I would have Never ordered 16mg! ) I'm mostly addicted to the hand-to-mouth. I actually didn't think that I was that addicted to the nic... until just now when I realllly wanted to smoke. Still, just going from 6mg to 16mg, I'm woozy.

Thanks for checking on that! Much appreciated! I don't see why it would matter which way they're charged. If they're meant to be charged via wall outlet, why make them usb???

Mine does the exact same thing. Wall charger takes between 6 and 8 hrs to charge, but if I plug directly into the computer, it only takes 2 hours. I'm not real concerned about it, as long as they're charging, I'm good. My only concern was Christopher's comment in the other thread about only using the wall adapter and not plugging directly into the computer. I'm assuming that was not what was meant (?) My assumption is that it's supposed to be quick charging regardless of whether or not you're using the adapter or not. (not that you should only use the adapter) As a side note (but still related to ego charging)... could they have possibly made that cord any shorter?!?!

Hey all you fellow DIY'ers! I'm looking to see what anyone has come up with that has worked. So far, my diy mixes have mostly been failures. My favorite success has been with using Lorann's Bavarian Creme, Butter Rum, and Keoke Coffee, mixed with VG (Wilton's) and some tobacco base. I also found that if you hold all the flavors open together, you can smell them to get a really good idea if the flavors will mix well.

Exactly what I'm wondering. I took off the adapter and plugged it into the computer.

So, is it Not normal to take 7 hours to charge a fully drained ego battery? or is it only a "rapid" charger if it's plugged into a usb port and not into the wall?

It's interesting how most of the votes are cast in the 0-20 mg and for both those areas, 20-40 ml's of juice are used. But in the higher mg's, those users are also apparently using more juice (the ml's are higher, too) I would be sick if I were to vape high mg AND alot of it! (this is all assuming that for the most part <10 means n/a or 0) cool poll!

weird.. I was just going to post the same question. I've got mine plugged into the wall adapter, would that make a difference on speed of charging? I was going to go look for my usb extension cord, see if it's quicker charging from the computer. The battery I charged yesterday, right out of the box, took about 2 hrs. That battery lasted till this morning, and it's been on the charger since 7:30 this morning. It's just now green. That's right around 7 hrs to charge.

My ego came in the mail today. Now I just get to wait for my batteries to charge. Annnnnnd it just figures that the VT store got cartomizers in After I had already ordered. Looks like I get to place my 3rd order...

Hey Bigjim! Welcome to the forum! I'm in Michigan and also ordered the ego from the VT store. Last week I ordered just some juice and I believe that only took 2-3 days! This time I placed my order on Wednesday, and got an e-mail that it had been shipped the same day. I'll let you know when it gets here... based on my last order, I expect it today or tomorrow!

I think I got a great deal too! I actually had it in a shopping cart at a couple other sites, and was comparing total with shipping. Got a "funny" feeling about the site I was on, remembered seeing the 10% off, went to the VT store (wasn't sure the 10% would also include the ego)... and well, now I just have to wait! I almost went with the other site because they offered it with an extra few goodies for the same price, but I decided to go with "safe." And with the extra off the price, I could stock up on Mentha

Thanks for all the responses! Last night I had pretty much made up my mind to just go ahead and get the mega batts, now I'm re-reading this all and changing my mind. Now my next mission will be to find a supplier that has the batts and charger adaptor in stock. The only place that I found that even had the adaptor's listed was Totally Wicked, but they're out of stock.

Hey guys! I think my 510's batteries are starting to go. (either that, or maybe I just want a new toy ) I'm trying to save some money, so would anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for longer life, switching batteries every 1/2 hour sucks!! From what I'm seeing, the mega batts are for sure a good option, but I could also get the ego parts... hmmm, decisions, decisions! Anyone want to chime in and give me some pro's and con's for them? To switch it up to the ego, it looks quite a bit more expensive, is it worth it? Thanks in advance for any advice! Beck

well now That's interesting! I was going to order that next... now I'm not so sure! Pear: one of my favorite flavors/smells . Banana: my least favorite, bordering on hate (especially fake banana, ewwwww)

So sad, but I'm sooo not surprised. I've been doing Lots of research on vaccinations. Want to scare yourself silly.... especially if you've got kids, look into them.
