  1. Anyone see any pitfalls of rinsing an empty e-juice bottle with distilled water, and re-using it?
  2. I think we really need to find out what kind of Mod it was the guy was using - the battery type helps narrow it down, but doesn't totally answer the question...
  3. Is it even possible not to stack in an Infinity Pro? They take 2 14430s. I'm supposed to find what, a 14860? Do they even have those?
  4. In all honesty man, it is probably best to leave the PV at home. You are going in for fairly major surgery, and the last thing your body needs is another drug in the mix. Smokers undergo surgery all the time, and have to go without their fix for several days. It isn't the easiest thing in the world, but you are in a hospital. It is probably wiser to go without.
  5. I suppose, but just because I got a VV (a non regulating one), doesn't mean I don't use my old Leo. I still think the best option is to just use the DCCs in what works, and buy new single coils for the VV. If you've got $100 to drop on a mod, a few bucks for some cartos shouldn't be a major deal.
  6. I guess looks aren't everything with batteries. Since I have no way of telling that the ones I have were protected, I had no idea what to look for. Time for more research I suppose.
  7. Stories about Mods blowing up in people's faces is making me want to learn more about batteries. I keep hearing about how you aren't supposed to "stack" batteries. Just to clarify, that means you aren't supposed to use 2? The reason I ask is that I have an Infinity Pro, which is supposed to use 2 14430 batteries. Is this stacking? And if so, why isn't it bad in this case? On another note - have you ever gotten batteries from somewhere other than the mod maker? For example, said 14430s are sold at Notcigs.com for $8 a pair. But I found this site, which appears to sell the exact same battery for $2.86 a piece, so long as you order 5. Is there something wrong with sites like that? Anyway - thoughts?
  8. I don't claim to be an expert on the inner workings of a carto, but if you clip that wire, aren't you killing one of the coils? If you do that, why not just buy a single coil in the first place?
  9. Bah, there hasn't been a good Final Fantasy game since FF3... I don't consider watching hours of movies a "game" lol I am guessing Link to the Past.
  10. Naw - I had 2 batteries. So unless they were both bad... Thing is, when I was screwing the top on, the indicator light would blink three times. Sometimes if I clicked it five times, it would blink 3 times... but never, ever fired, with either battery. First time I put a batt in there, and took it out, the thing sparked a little. I think there is something wrong with the control unit. I sent it back - they are going to take a look at it. Still - dissapointing to finally get the new tool in the mail, and not have it work! and no, a Lavatube is not "in between" a VV mod and a LEO. I appear to be alone, but I don't find myself at all tempted by the Lavatube.
  11. Well, I finally ordered the Tube Mod from Vapor Galaxy, and it looks really good. Unfortunately, it appears to be DOA - as I can't get it to fire at all. The light will blink when I screw it on, but I can't get it to fire, or indicate it is on/off by clicking 5 times. I emailed them. Will see what they say.
  12. Of course. Maybe that isn't the best thing for them, but there is no way I can be there the second they are done charging.
  13. I think you hit it - warmer vapor equals better throat hit. if you like that sort of thing.
  14. I think the cartos I was using were gunked up too, I noticed my draw was horrible today. I wouldn't have noticed last night, but I may have been running them harder to get enough vape out of them with every draw. When I get into a project, I kind of disconnect with what is going on around me
  15. It might be helpful if you describe your withdrawals. May help. For example, does something feel wrong when you are vaping? You might not think about it, but the action of flicking an ash off a cigarette can create a Pavlovian response. Your body starts to associate that action with the intake of nicotine, and when you are vaping, you don't have that. You are getting the drug, but the ritual aspect is gone, and it feels somehow wrong to you. Or are you having a more physical response?
  16. When I first started, I was exclusively using Bobas. Now it's weird. I definitely have to be in the mood for it, and when I am not - it isn't enjoyable to me. Not sure why that is. It's a great flavor, but man is it a specific taste.
  17. You can buy really cheap USB car chargers, which work fantastic with Leo passthrough batteries. When I am out and about, I'll usually have two LEOs - one charges, while the other is vaped. There are tons of solutions
  18. Na, I am a night owl. I was actually working on a freelance job. Ill mail it out tomorrow.
  19. NIcotine may not be the only addictive substance in cigarettes, but it is by far the MOST addictive substance. There is a reason smoking cessation aids only use nicotine - because that is the drug that is keeping you smoking, not the other things in cigarettes. There is also the habitual aspect, which is probably more to blame for gums and patches failing than anything else in a cigarette that is addicting. Addictive is a broad term, and the more addictive something is, the harder it is to quit. Everything to do with smoking has been demonized, but that doesn't mean there isn't some truth to some of the claims. It is mostly a benign addiction like caffeine - but it is still an extremely powerful addiction that trumps everything else in a cigarette put together, and then some. I'm not saying you aren't correct, but not all addictions are equal, and nicotine can be a very major one.
  20. It could be my imagination - tough to say. I had to switch them like 3 times yesterday, but I was doing a lot of work on a design project, and when I do that I tend to chain vape something fierce. And more time passed than I thought...
  21. I had to pick - Skyrim, Batman, or Zelda. Still playing Skyrim, so I think I made the right choice. By the time I get to the other two, they will be much cheaper! Glad to hear Zelda is good though. I do love that franchise. What was this thread about?
  22. Hrm. Well, these are 14430s. It's been about 45 days - but they have been used heavily, and I only have 2 sets. Each have probably been charged once a day... maybe every other day.
  23. Self explanatory. I am starting to notice a decrease in charge time on my batteries, and I am wondering if it is normal for that to happen this soon!
  24. I like it, though it is my first mod, so take that for what you will. The dial is outstanding - while I can see the perks of a digital readout like you have on the Lavatube, I think pushing the buttons is way more a pain in the butt, and I really don't need that level of precision. Anyway - it's good, but my eyes are already starting to wander. I think that's normal though.
  25. The big bottles are hidden in the back for a REASON Bob
