I received the Hawaiian Spam Cook Book as a gift for dog sitting the other day. I love it! Pretty sure there was a recipe that involved ramen in there.

Never thought about auto auctions and buying a car for $50. Very smart. Just by selling the broken down for scrap would almost make $50 to buy the next car. Hmmm...something to think about. After being unemployed for so long, I learned that lesson. I didn't buy anything unless absolutely necessary and paid for with cash. When I cleaned out my house, I realized all my furniture was used. It all had come from thrift sales or auctions. Everything in my living room cost less than $300. So I wasn't too upset when it all was carted away. Agreed.

Really? I torture the crap out of the small tanks. They take it just fine.

So glad to see so many people with older cars! Woo hoo! I agree no car payment, cheap registration and insurance make it worth it. As long as I can get from point A to B, it is good. I am not sure what I will do when I need a newer car. By the time I reach that point, they will all be auto driven and electric. I still won't give up my old car. My sister rented a car while they were visiting. It had all the touch screen stuff. It was nice to play with, but not sure if I want all that distraction in the car. They insisted that we take it to the drive in. Ugh! You couldn't see anything from the back seat, because of the small windshield, and the darn thing kept turning itself off after 5 minutes. So we had to restart the car to keep the radio going. What a pain. The one time I got to say, "I told you so" and not catch heat for it. We should have taken the jeep.

I will keep this car until it dies. It has not required any major repairs except for the usual maintenance. I did replace the timing belt, scheduled maintenance, that was a bit costly but still cheaper than a car payment. The mechanic said I should get many more years out of that thing. Even if I get a new car, I will keep this old one. My brother and I joked about turning it into a demolition derby vehicle down the road. It was funny at the time, but I don't think I could watch her get beaten up that bad.

I have found that the smaller tanks always keep the flavor fresher than using a larger tank. The downside is more frequent filling. I guess that is why I am not ready to give up the EVOD glass tanks just yet. Just my observations and preference.

My car is 20 years old and has about 110,000 miles on it. Here is a list why I love my old car. 1. It is old, no one will want to steal it. 2. It is a stick shift, good luck stealing it. 3. Small gas tank, cheap to fill. 4. Bright pink color, can't lose it in a parking lot. 5. No car payment. 6. Cheap insurance. 7. No auto, shift on the fly 4 wheel drive. 8. No power steering, great upper body workout. 9. Engine compartment isn't full of all that computer crap, everything is easily accessible. 10. It has an ashtray and cigarette lighter. The downsides to my old car. 1. Soft top, does not stop thieves. 2. No more stereo or speakers. Thank you thieves, may the 20 year old tape deck and speakers line your pocket book. 3. The trim is starting to come off. 4. 4 wheel drive eats gas 5. Parts may be hard to find in the long run. Still cheaper to fix than a car payment.

Now hooked on Ray Donovan. Burning through the first season. Christian Slater will have to wait and it has now interrupted my binge of Stargate Atlantis.

Trying a new flavor won't hurt your current situation. The flavor you mentioned sounds pretty tame. But I am suspecting a bit of menthol in there. Just a guess, a little mint kick usually helps the fruit flavors. Good luck! Welcome to the forum.

Everyone has given you advice about adjusting the settings and lowering the nicotine content. There could be another issue going on. When you first stop smoking you spend time searching for a flavor that works and matches what your body is wanting with throat hit etc. Your throat could be telling you it is time to switch up flavors. I pretty much vaped the same flavor for the first 6 months and then was ready to move on to something else. You might want to try a new flavor, one that isn't so harsh. What flavor are you vaping now? You mentioned a brand but not the flavor. Just throwing this out there.

All Hail the Muffin Man!

I have heard some good and bad things about True Detective. My mom couldn't get into it. It is on my list to try. Binge watching Stargate Atlantis, in the last season now. Will move onto Universe when this is done. As for current TV, Halt and Catch Fire and Mr. Robot. I like Christian Slater, I admit it.

What did I learn about vaping today......

Picked up the wrong tank, popped out a new coil, filled the tank and then proceeded to try and figure out why it wouldn't screw together. Yes, I spent several minutes trying to get that thing to work. Then it hit me, wrong coil. -
I was Jeffb yesterday for a short while. Wasn't sure if it was signaling the last person to log in or if Jeff and I were crossing streams. It only happened once so far, so I was waiting to see if it happened again.

I have no idea where they came from. Was pretty happy to find them. I am hoping that I kept the drip tip for the 306. lol

^^THIS! I just went through this. My USB part had a short in the cable. Luckily, I had a box with some old parts and found one to use until the replacement arrived. There was some pretty old stuff in that box. But if I get in a jam, there are useable parts in there. I even keep a few boxes of blank cartomizers on hand. You never know when you might need one. Tam I also found a bunch of 510 atomizers and a 306!

We had a pretty wet spring. It appears to have stabilized. We had a severe storm roll through yesterday. I would take the heat over a cold day anytime.

I love spiders. I don't handle them. I just let them live out their days. I also don't believe in mouse traps. I will catch and release them, with the cats help of course. I have two toads living in my window well. They seem happy. I put a dish of water out for them. I was catching them and releasing, but more just kept showing up. Not sure how they got in, there is a cover on the well. Snakes scare the crap out of me. I will scream and run.

None of our members have any experience with one use (disposable) cig a likes. You will just have to do your own research for other companies that supply what you are looking for. Sorry we are unable to address your questions. We can help you with cigarette style setups that have re-chargeable batteries and the cartridges are replaceable. The cartridges are disposable, but you just reuse the battery. Take a look at this kit. It might suit your needs. https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/starter-kits/white-vt510-starter-kit-tobacco/

Not sure about a disposable. But if you are looking for something more Cig like, the VUSE is supposed to be good. The reviews are good and it seems affordable. The battery is rechargeable and you only need to replace the cartridges. The most basic we recommend are the Vision Spinner batteries or Kanger batteries. With simple tanks, like the EVOD. All parts are re-usable and you only need to purchase coils and liquid. Less waste with much better draw and flavor. Your other option is to buy a 501 rechargeable battery, more cig like, and blank cartomizers. You will have to fill the cartos, but it works well without the tight draw. You will still need to buy the liquid.

The man from Colorado was found guilty on all counts yesterday. The penalty phase starts next week. He will never see the outside world again. He thought that by murdering people it would increase his self-worth. Reminds me of video games, kill and earn points. Doesn't sound to far off from the those that follow an extreme religion. I am not currently caught up on what happened yesterday with the shooting in Chattanooga. Family left yesterday, it was busy and I only caught bits and pieces of everything. Will have to get caught up before I can really understand the current situation.

I think the last mystery box had post requirements. But I don't know that for sure. Just post more! lol

Thanks for sharing. It is good to hear something positive. -
Nice seats. Looks like you had a good time! Went to the Rockies game yesterday. We had seats by behind the dugout, got lucky and were just under the deck. The sun was brutal yesterday.

I have been to the Dollar Store twice in the last two weeks. Do not give money to a 6 year old for a birthday! I secretly love the Dollar Store. I also learned that a trail ride can be free if your saddle is not completely fastened to the horse. Another Birthday wish from a 6 year old. It was not me or the 6 y.o. that fell off the horse.
