Welcome to Vapor Talk Hdryder! The automatic batteries have been known to be set off by just sound. So I do not think it will be safer carrying the automatic battery in a pocket. I am pretty sure that is why they created the button models. I don't recommend carrying any pv in the front pocket of pants. I have carried my 510 in jacket pockets and not had any problems. Electro-nic-stixs does sell 510 kits. It looks like all his kits comes with the manual button. But he does sell the automatic batteries separately. I would suggest buying the kit and then buying one of the automatic batteries. This way you can find what will work best for you. You can find him in our supplier forum. I have ordered from them before. RMV is a good supplier. Had I known that they had low bridge I would have included a couple in the order I placed with them today. Their loss I guess for not having a good description.

Nice direct drip cart idea. What was the reason for removing the bottom of the cart off below the air vents?

The 510 Mega XL Atomizer is made for the mega carts. The mega carts are supposed to hold more 2x the liquid and allow for longer vaping time before being re-filled. The mega atomizers can not be used with regular 510 carts and the mega carts can not be used with regular 510 atomizers.

I used to smoke about a 3/4 packs a day, then in the last year of smoking I was at a pack and a half. I never smoked just one brand, I changed it up frequently Camel lights, marlboro lights and winston lights.

Welcome Snik to the forum. I use the direct drip method. When I go out I usually don't have to travel far so one good drip and I am good to my destination.

For those that smoked in their homes, I have one small suggestion that really helps get the stink out of your home. Change the furnace/air conditioner filter if you have not done so already. It really will make a difference and help speed up the removal of the lingering smell on everything.

Dave pretty much answered your question. There isn't much effort in using the manual button. I took to it really fast also. The most automatic batteries will have a auto cut off on the draw, and this can be a bit frustrating to some users. Good luck you will enjoy your 510 kit.

The VP1 is set up to use with a 801 atomizer. When you buy it for the 510, you will get a adapter that will screw onto the 801 fitting. Your 510 atomizer will then screw into the adapter. So you are actually getting the best of both worlds with this purchase. You can use a 801 atomizer or a 510 atomizer. The best way to use the adapter is to screw the atomizer onto the adapter and then screw the adapter, with atomizer attached, to the battery unit. The little gold piece in the front of the picture is the adapter.

The animated movie "9" was amazing. Wonderful story and beautiful animation. It is one of my favorites. District 9 was also a good film. I did shed a few tears. I also really liked Zombie Land. Absolutely hilarious and bloody all at the same time. You really can't ask for more.

Brian, I am very impressed. You got over the first hurdle just by completing the mod. I bet that the next time you try, it will be a bit more easier. You must have great patience, I probably would have chucked it against a wall. How does it work? Are you satisfied with the vapor production?

I have not tried the Halo juices, so I will not be any help to you there. The first kit I bought was a 510. It really helped me get going with the art of vaping. I agree with Chris, the battery life is a bit short but it never was a problem for me. I always had a battery on the charger. I did just purchase one of the new mega batteries for the 510. It is much longer than the regular 510 battery but it doesn't seem to be a problem. The life on the mega battery is outstanding. I have been very pleased with it so far.
