Colorado has jumped on this band wagon. They have or are in the process of passing a similar tax on soda and candy. The state has also a passed a law for tax on internet purchases. This should be really interesting. I don't completely understand how this will work. The sellers will not be collecting the tax, they are expecting the seller to send the information to the state department of revenue and the state will send you a sales tax bill at the end of the year. Sounds really dumb and complicated.

I am not worried too much about the Chuck. This is the first incident reported for this model and it really was the user's fault. The guy from Thag, Jeff (I think), actually replied in the posts. He has been trying to get a battery to discharge and test his product. He has offered the guy a new one at no charge and wants the damaged one sent back so he can investigate the venting issue that he has been trying to create. Like I stated in my first post, I think he is a honest guy and wants to make sure he has a quality product to sell. It will be interesting to see if he makes changes to the Chuck now that this has happened. I am glad that your Chuck is working out well for you. Thanks for posting your experience with the Chuck.

I have to agree with you. I am not really sure how much proper venting would really help. It definitely will not stop batteries from exploding, but if it can keep it from discharging the atomizer or the top of the PV at my face, I would be pleased. This brings up the "pipe bomb issue" also, proper venting might just give the user enough time to get away from the unit before it becomes a deadly weapon.

Thanks Jeff. He did admit user error and I did catch that when reading through all the posts. I think that is why I haven't taken the plunge and bought any battery operated mods yet. I am waiting this out to see what happens in the next few months. I trust that Jeso, Chris and Parker have taken this issue to heart and will be releasing the new stuff with safety being a top priority.

Looks like TW opened a store front this weekend. Good for them and I wish them the best of luck! The store opened in Bradenton, Florida. I also read a rumor a few weeks past that TW has a kiosk in a mall, located in Colorado Springs. Hmmmm....I live to far from CS to see if it is really there. Anyone from Colorado Springs willing to keep an eye out for it? I think it may be at the Citadel mall. Anyways, I am posting a link to a YouTube video of the grand opening in Florida. TW Grand Opening pics Wasn't sure where to put this. Thought it would fit in the supplier review. Feel free to move it.

Below is a post from ECF. Yes the guy used unprotected batteries and the rest of the thread goes on and on about batteries. I don't want to start another topic about unprotected batteries, what I want to point out is venting in some of the mods on the market. The atomizer blew off the Chuck and hit him in the face. Thag Built claims that the Chuck is vented through the button. I wouldn't call this a prime spot to put a vent. My other concern is talk about adapters shorting out the batteries. I can not quite understand how a adapter would short out a mod and the batteries. Maybe by pushing the center post down? I know most of us get the protected and unprotected battery safety issue. Thank you Chris for all your posts regarding battery safety. My warning is about the venting in some of these mods. Buyer beware, you may be using protected batteries, but how is it vented? Will it blow heat in your hand, shoot the atomizer at you or blow the bottom off? These are things you need to consider other than batteries. Please note, this person suffered no major injury. I think his glasses saved his eye. Also I am not picking on the Chuck, it just happens to be the example at the moment. I am sure Thag would not want any of his customers to become injured to make a quick buck. He seems like an honest person. I have included the link, in case you would like to read the rest of the posts. Link

Thank you Moderator Jeff, much appreciated.

In my experience anything with a mint flavor takes a bit of time to get out of the atomizer. The best you can do is drain or clean it and just wait for the flavor to go away.

I use only 2 drops when dripping on the 510. Sometimes I will use 3 if I think I have a very dry atomizer. I also want to add, when putting the cart back on try not to cover the hole on the top. It will work like a plunger and push the liquid out of the bottom. With a little patience it will all fall into place. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I have to second everyone about the VT juice. All good strong flavors so far. When I first started, I ordered a bottle of cappucino (not VT) and I thought it tasted like stale beer. After a few weeks, I went back to that bottle and could taste the coffee flavor. I have a bottle of the Mocha Mint coffee Rath juice, it is a bit weak in flavor, but good none of the less. Welcome to the forum!

I have ordered juice from Rocky Mountain vapor and it was good. I think they sell the Dekang liquid, standard China brand. I think you are flooding your atomizer. Try these simple tricks. 1. Use 2-3 drops 2. When placing the cart back on the atomizer, try not to cover the hole on top. Makes a plunger effect when hole is covered. 3. Use slow long drags about 3-5 seconds 4. Keep the atomizer in the up position. This will keep the juice on the coil. These might be the same answers you received in your other post. Just be patient. I spent the first few weeks with the same problem. It will all work out and you will get the hang of it. I still, on occasion, still flood my atomizer.

Thank you for the information. I will keep that in mind also. I use to store my juice in the fridge but have moved it to a cupboard in my kitchen.

I think it is a matter of preference. I got a couple 901 atomizers, just to give them a whirl. I was really pleased with the flavor and the vapor production. I never really thought about the throat hit. Hmmm.... may have to think about that when I use it again. I have been using the 901 on the VP/PT at 5v and on my 801 batteries.

I have been watching this thread too. I have some supplies to experiment with mixing my own juice. I didn't know that the VG will be thick if not thinned out by the distilled water. Thanks for the info on the drop size. This is beginning to make sense now.

I tried the 901 atomizer on my VP/PT and 801 batteries. I have never used the 901 before and I was amazed at the flavor it produced and the vapor production wasn't too bad either. I am really considering buying a 901 kit to use as a back up.

I don't know about Walmart having the flavorings. I did see them at Hobby Lobby so I am pretty sure that Michaels will carry them also. At Hobby Lobby they were stocked with the cake decorating supplies. I hope this helps you. -
I have witnessed a few peculiar things in the night sky, but it wasn't enough to convince me that it was a UFO. I will be completely convinced when I see a flying saucer land at the local liquor store and buy a six pack of beer. It must be the brain neutralizing waves that are beamed out of NORAD and the Air Force Academy. After they closed Rocky Flats I got better TV reception.

I found this map the other day and it is updated frequently. You can see all the reports from around the world. UFO Stalker Just for fun.

"Noalox", everytime I see this word I think of a laxative. I guess it can be classified as a laxative for screw threads.

Thanks for the reply. It was nice chatting with you in chat. Let me know how this mod works out for you.

I will be interested to know how you like the 5v GLV. Grimm Green gave a really good review about the GLV. I have been looking at that mod for awhile. How long will you have to wait for you the order?
