  1. I use the VP/PT. You can either vape at 3.7v or 5v. It is available form Vaprlife and it still might be available from Dietsmokes. I have the 801 fitting, but you can get adapters for the 901, and 510. I use the 901 atomizer on it all the time. I love my PT! It is a bit pricey, but will worth the money in my book.
  2. Try the Grape Soda from the VT store.
  3. The cream has become my new flavor. I have mixed it with a bit of everything. I got a free sample with some juice I ordered, yum. Never thought of mixing the RY4 will have to give that a whirl.
  4. The shipping charges for me are all about the same no matter who I order from. Most ship USPS priority so I can expect the shipping to be around $5. I have not noticed any difference with shipping costs unless it is shipped UPS.
  5. Congratulations!
  6. I am sorry. I didn't mean to ruin your day.
  7. That is old news. The date at the top is from January. This has been over turned and we are back at square one. It was nice while it lasted.
  8. Only from Bickford. Take a look at this thread too. Bickford Thread
  9. Last night I watched Food, Inc. About 15 minutes into the film, I wasn't sure I was going to get through it. It was the scenes of the chicken plants. After that was over it was smooth sailing. It was shocking how much corn is used in food processing. In the last few months I have met a handful of people that were allergic to corn and it doesn't include just eating it off the cob. They are allergic to all forms of processed corn used in foods. There were so many things that were just wrong. I am seriously going to re-think what I buy and what I am eating. It scared me so bad, that it made me want to stop eating all together.
  10. My dog is always with me, so there is always a window open in the car. She will open the window herself if I don't put the window locks on.
  11. I use about 2-3 drops and I get about 5-7 draws before re-dripping. Mileage may very from other people's experience, but I would say that is about standard. You will know when to re-drip, the vapor production will drop off. Cleaning the atomizers is a personal choice. Most people will put a small piece of paper towel in the atomizer and turn it upside down at night and let it drain. Some people will rinse the atomizers with hot water, some will use everclear, and some toss them every 30 days. The atomizers are disposable. I have had some atomizers last a week and some have lasted a few months. You will find posts all over the forum about cleaning atomizers. It really is a personal preference.
  12. One more thing, order a couple extra atomizers with your kit.
  13. I used the carts for about 30 minutes and gave up. I only drip now. You can use the carts that come with your kit for direct dripping. The carts will be pre-filled when you get them, you just need to remove the filler and rinse out the cart. If you order blank carts you can remove the filler and use the direct drip or you can use the filler and add your own liquid. Yes, do buy extra liquid with your kit, you will need it. Go to the video area, there are instructions for direct dripping. Others have used other filler for the carts, like fluval, tea bags and some type of blue foam. If you search through the forum you will find those key words. I am just lazy and don't want to refill carts.
  14. I have a 510 and the 801. I really like them both and each has a unique feature. Vapor production is awesome with the 510 and the flavor is pretty good. The 801 produces much better flavor and the vapor production is also good. I know the batteries on the 510 lack a bit but there are the mega batteries for the 510. Some vendors may call them 520 or mega batteries. The other choice for a 510 is the Janty/Tornado/Joye Ego model. I do not have a Ego, but everyone seems to really like it. Hope this helps.
  15. Welcome to VT. Look in our suppliers forum. There are several suppliers there that sell the 801.
  16. I am going to give this a little bump, in hopes that one of our battery guru's might jump in for you. I use the 901 atomizer and really like it. I don't have any of the batteries so I don't know how long they last. I do use an adapter with a 801 battery and on the VP/PT.
  17. Welcome BamBam! I have to agree with everyone else. I would start off with the 510 and a couple bottles of e-liquid. Take a look at some of the suppliers in the supplier forum.
  18. My least favorite was Gooseberry. I had really high hopes for this one. The thought of it gives me the shivers.
  19. That is a very large list. I have been watching the GLV for a very long time. A bit frustrated that it is always on pre-order, I do understand that he is a very busy person. What are your impressions of the GLV and are you going to purchase the one with the new design change?
  20. Thank you Brian. Very much appreciated.
  21. How dare you defile the Dulcis! Don't you understand it is the holy water of vaping liquids? VT Tobacco mixed with a drop of Cream from Awesome Vapor.
  22. I have to agree with you that the mall kiosks are really a bad place to get information and product. For the guy not knowing what he is selling is pretty bad. Especially trying to make a selling point of vitamin B being in the cartridges. I read a thread once, on another forum, about someone wanting to know if they could crush up vitamins and use them in their ecig. That question scared me a bit.
  23. I like your method. Simple and easy.
  24. Some suppliers will take the regular 510 or 901 and brand it with a fancy name. It will come with logos on them or maybe custom packaging. They might then mark it up and have a higher price. But when it comes down to it, a 510 is a 510. You may want to read Chris's blog about Janty and Joye. It might make things a bit more clear. Ecig Guru Blog Looking at your title for this thread you mention the Joker. The Joker is a whole different type of ecig. Models like the Joker, Silver Bullet, Indulgence and the Chuck, (to name a few) are what we call mods. These e-cig modifications are built for longer battery life and more power. The batteries used in these will extend the time between charging. A regular 510 battery lasts a couple hours and a mod will last up to 8 hours or maybe longer before having to be re-charged. The other purpose of these high dollar mods is the voltage. The Joker for example is a 5v mod. Other mods like the Chuck can either be 3.7 or work at 6v. This depends on the battery combination that you choose to use. The regular 510 battery performs at 3.7 volts. The higher the voltage the more power to the atomizer, which means more vapor. Most of these mods are hand made by manufacturers in the US. Except for the Indulgence, I think that is made in China. I hope this helps, I tried to make it as simple as possible.
  25. I downloaded the MSDS sheet. Much of it didn't make much sense to me, ie the testing on rats. I was a bit disappointed that it listed the ingredients as "trade secret", although I can understand why. These were the warnings: Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. May cause abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Skin Contact: Causes moderate skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause defatting and drying of the skin. Inhalation: Causes irritation of the mouth, nose and throat. May irritate the lungs. Eye Contact: Causes moderate eye irritation. Moderate Eye Irritation: signs/symptoms can include redness, swelling, pain, tearing, and hazy vision. I just thought I would put this in this thread before people start going out and trying the stuff. I am going to keep an eye on that link you posted. I want to see what his comments are after a few more months.
