For one person, it makes lots of sandwiches, salads and stir fry. It was really good! I hope you are not disappointed. The local grocery bakery used to sell them in full and half sizes. I would buy the half size. For some reason they stopped selling them, the baker said she was surprised, the pie was popular. It was sweet, tasted like pineapple. Desserts with pineapple can be really sweet, but the pie was just right. Had a craving, jumped on google and found a recipe. This is the first time I made this pie. Will have to see how it turned out. The recipe is simple.

lol It was during the summer, not in the mood for stuffing at the time.

I have done this! Minus the stuffing. It turns out really well. The breast is nice and moist. The only part I didn't like was the skin, it didn't brown very well. I put it under the broiler for a few minutes to brown up the skin and make it crispy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I made pies tonight! Pumpkin, cherry and pineapple. We are going to my brother's in-laws for turkey dinner. We are also bringing salad and some squash thing. We also made candied pecans for the salad, we were too cheap to buy them. I was making the pumpkin pie and my mom actually asked me if I knew how to use a can opener. The look I gave here was priceless. Really? You don't think I can open a can? She started laughing, I thought for sure she was going to pee her pants. FYI, for those that don't know, I live with my parents. I moved in with them a year ago to help my mom take care of my father.

I see what kind of battery you have, looked it up. eGo style with the flat button. I have a battery that is built the same, it is a Kanger, but same flat button. Mine was stuck, pressed it and gave it a wiggle and it released. It also could be gunked up with liquid. You could try and clean it with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol). Do not saturate it. You will have to let it dry out before use. If that doesn't fix the problem, the battery is broken and should be replaced.

I have to agree with Comp here. There are regulations for food to be considered organic. I worked in a produce department for a store, if anything that was labeled organic made contact with any general surface or other non-organic produce it had to be tossed. It was considered contaminated. But we are talking the vape industry here, not regulated yet, but it sounds if it is on the way. There was an old vendor that used to sell organic e-liquids. His stuff is good. But it seems he dropped the "organic" sales pitch and now calls it "natural." https://www.vaperite.com/ There is a vendor, listed on the forum, that sells organic and natural e-liquids. See the Velvet Vapors sub forum. I am not really sure how they can claim something is organic or natural. Most flavors are extracted from the source using ethyl alcohol, PG and/or VG.

Anyone use Roku with Sling Here?
BirdDog replied to Compenstine's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I am assuming that your Roku has been updated, along with any of the applications installed on it. It will usually update itself. If Sling has a tech help section, you might want to check it out. But knowing you, you already did. lol I wouldn't pay $25/month for something that buffers every few minutes. I would let it go also. My mom complained that Netflix was buffering. It turned out my mom kept stuffing the Roku under the TV and next to the cable box. It also didn't help that it was next to a gas fireplace. Between the interference from the other electronics and the fire shield in the fireplace, the Roku was dropping the signal. If I moved the Roku above the tv and fireplace it worked just fine. But my mom kept putting it back, then complain, and the whole process would start over again. -

Hulu+ has the same limitations. It hasn't been a problem, because I am the only one that uses it right now. -

I would get the Roku and give Sling a try. If you don't like it you can cancel. We have been thinking about getting rid of our provider, they just increased all the small charges about $1. It made our bill jump about $40 extra a month. After I am done with Halloween decorating, my next job is to investigate TV viewing options. I cut the cord years ago and was pretty happy with Netflix and the other free stuff found on my computer or Roku. My folks are another story, they just aren't in that frame of mind to cut the cord, a bit confusing for them. It will be a long road... lol -

The Vizio is a good television. Great picture! The smart version has limited streaming applications than what Samsung offers. You can use a Roku on the Vizio. I don't have problems with my Hulu app on the Roku or Samsung. The app for my computer sucks and crashes. I use my browser instead. -

I have a Roku. I use Hulu and Netlix on it. I never used Sling, but I worked with someone that used it on their Roku. They liked it. The Roku works well and has many options for adding other services. Some are free and some are paid. I have 2 smart televisions and prefer the Roku. Samsung has the best options for adding streaming channels. The Vizio sucks when it comes to choices for streaming and wants everything to be with Yahoo. Had I known this, I would have talked everyone out of the Vizio, it was a birthday gift for my dad. -
I ran across this story earlier today and I shook my head. This is how I am going to interpret the ban based on my recent experience. It won't be enforced unless you are in a crowded National Park, with attractions, where large groups of people gather. The ban is based on second hand vapor and how it will affect other visitors. It has nothing to do with litter or possible fire hazards. Otherwise, if you are hiking, camping or out on a boat, it won't be a problem. I ran into one Ranger the whole time I was up at the cabin. He was busy tracking hunters, checking ATV's for current stickers, illegal gun use, picking up garbage and putting out campfires. They don't have time to track down Ecig users, it is the least of their worries.

You could try a new coil in your tanks. Sometimes when you have a shorted coil it will cause the battery to do weird things. I know the batteries are not acting the same way. But it is worth a shot. Otherwise, you have bad batteries.

Link to the vapor talk vape time signature
BirdDog replied to spydre's topic in Website Feedback & Bug Reporting
The quit banner is very old and there could be some issues with the new system upgrades. The banner has been a bit testy the last couple years. It was developed by someone that is long gone from the forum. If you click on any banner, yours included, it will take you too the web link for the banners. -
What did I learn about vaping today......
BirdDog replied to cany's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You can always use vinegar and water mixed in a spray bottle. It works well and deodorizes. It won't stain the upholstery either. You can also buy a pre-mixed bottle at the Dollar Store. secretly love the dollar store. -
Well that was interesting. It will be nice to see the zombie devastation unfold.

Are you guys ready for the premiere "Fear the Walking Dead" tonight? Very excited! I got the date wrong in a post above, at least I was a day ahead and not behind. Sorry.

It was 18mg. This was sent out to me before I made the decision to drop my level to 12 mg. Most of the flavors have a nice easy throat hit. The Tobacco and Apple Cider probably had the strongest throat hit for me. Sometimes they would become a little much during the day and I would swap for another flavor.

I just want to add that there are reports, floating about, about Sucide Bunny and some of their mixes containing Diacetyl and Acetly Propionyl. These additives are not safe for vaping. Not all their flavors contain these additives. I don't know which flavors were tested, but there was huge debate and community shaming towards Sucide Bunny. If you are wanting to purchase these flavors, I suggest you Google or check out Reddit for the test results in regards to Sucide Bunny. I am just posting this as a warning, I have no interest in Sucide Bunny.

Most of you are aware there is a store attached to the forum. In the store is a line of e-liquid called BeKuali. The line was developed by the Vapor Talk store. Christopher, our supreme leader, was involved in the development process to create this line. The BeKuali line is manufactured to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality control. It is a 70/30 mix with nicotine levels ranging from 0mg to 24mg. https://www.vaportalk.com/product-category/e-liquid/bekuali-eliquid/ A couple weeks ago, Chris sent out a handful of samples to Jeff and I. Well, we whined and cried, got on our knees and begged for samples. That was lie, and the only lie I am going to tell you. We asked for the samples and he obliged. We are under no obligation to do a review or promote the product. But I am choosing to do a review of the 17 bottles that were sent to me. Jeff is more than welcome to add his thoughts and comments to this review. I have purchased a few flavors from the line prior to the samples and will include those in this very, very long review. I have not tasted tested all the samples yet, but I can say for the price, the flavors are spot on. I may not like the flavor, due to personal preference, but I can guarantee the flavor matches the name and description. I have yet to try a sample that tasted off, flowery or chemical. The flavors were all tested using the EVOD glass and Protanks using the standard and dual coils available for those tanks. I move my wattage/voltage all over the board during the day. These are the flavors I received: California Grape, Salt Water Taffy, Banana, Coffee Cake, Chocolate Wine, Coke Gummies, American Strawberry, Blueberry, Tootsie Roll, British Black Tea, Chocolate, Guava, Apple Cider, Cherry, American Tobacco, Espresso and Chocolate Coffee. California Grape: Delicious! The flavor reminded me of the grape Bubble Yum chewing gum from my childhood. Very tart with that nice sweetness at the end. Salt Water Taffy: This flavor is out standing. Very sweet and creamy. It isn't a fruit taffy, just the plain standard Salt Water Taffy that comes hand wrapped by the local country store. I would buy this flavor again. Coke Gummies: It took me awhile to figure out what exactly this flavor was. It definitely had the cola flavor, but there was something else. The name really had me confused. I was at the Dollar Store and on the shelf was a cola flavored gummy candy. The big bright light in my head went on and I got it! If you like a good cola flavor with a candy thrill than this is it. Strawberry: This flavor is one of my favorites and it will be added to my list to buy again. Very simple, tart and sweet. Easy on the palate from beginning to end. I just finished the bottle and wanting more! Tootsie Roll: If you are a fan of the candy than this one is for you. This tastes just like the candy without the chewy, stuck in your teeth aftermath. I have never been a fan of chocolate flavored vapes. I prefer to eat chocolate not vape it. But this flavor is spot on, no joke, spot on! Apple Cider: Nice! I am not a fan of apple based flavors for vaping. I actually don't like apples. But I do enjoy a good warm apple cider in the fall. It has the nice apple cider flavor with just that small touch of cinnamon. Not the burning cinnamon flavor, but the flavor that enhances baked goods. This flavor paired well with a nice dark beer or a cup of morning coffee. American Tobacco: I am a junkie for tobacco flavors. I never knew what real tobacco tasted like until I started vaping. I love it. Tobaccos should have that nutty flavor and be smooth. Cigarettes kill that flavor. I have tried all kinds of mixes of tobacco liquids. The best are the Chinese mixes. Sorry American made liquids, but you suck when it comes to tobacco flavors. This one has the perfect nutty flavor with no aftertaste. It also leaves a nice lingering smell in the room. A lot of tobaccos will leave a stinky after smell This is very important when picking a tobacco flavor. I ordered this flavor before it was sent to me as a sample, and it is on my list of re-orders. My plan is to mix this with the Cherry sample that was sent to me and give it go. Espresso: Love this flavor! Creamy smooth and COFFEE! This is one of the flavors I purchased before being sent the sample. This is also on my list of re-orders. It goes well with morning coffee and baked sweets. If you are craving coffee late in the day, this will satisfy the need for a cup of joe or that expensive trip to your local coffee emporium. No worry about jitters or staying up late with this vape! Vapor: I haven't talked about vapor production for any of these flavors. I don't know why people include vapor production in their reviews. Does this blow big clouds? It is a 70/30 mix and will depend on what device you are using. The clouds from these liquids are just fine for me. I can see it on exhale but doesn't make me go blind. I am a flavor type of vaper, not a cloud vaper. I will add more flavor reviews as I test them. 17 bottles is a lot of stuff to go through, and I usually only have 2 flavors in rotation at a time. To summarize, for the novice, these are perfect to start out with. The flavor will be good. But flavor is subjective. You may not like it, but it will taste as described. I cannot deny that these flavors taste as labeled. If you are an veteran vaper and want liquids in your safety stash for back up or need to recommend something to a new vaper, trying to find their way, this is it! Bekuali is affordable and worth much more than what they are priced at. If you don't like it, then where is the loss? Cheap! Cheap!

The Triton sounds like it has many design flaws, from the bases to the coils. It bothers me that you can't take it completely apart to clean it. I wonder if water or excess liquid is getting in the center tube part and causing the turning mechanism to freeze. I would like to really take one apart, after several uses and see what kind of gunk has built up in that center tube.
