I have the Don. I really like it. Took some time to get used to the bottom button. I use it at 3.7 and the 5v option. I use just the plain old atomizers and cartomizers with the 5v option and not had any problems. 6v is way too much for me. My favorite size is with the one RCR-123 battery and a LR cartomizer. Nice and small fits in my hard perfectly.

It would be a big help to the newbies, on this forum, if you posted your video review link (or video) at the top of your post instead of all the Elixir promotion stuff.

Try using finger nail polish, a good sharpie or some tape. Flavor Bands Or you could get some flavor bands. You might be able to find something like those at a hardware store if you need them right away.

You could use PG to thin it. But if you add anything to the liquid to thin it out you will lose flavor. What is a sd?

Moved to Noobie Questions and Help. VG will produce more vapor, less throat hit and can decrease flavor a bit (depends on what flavor). PG will produce less vapor, greater throat hit and flavor is usually good (depends on what flavor). If you are using your tank with the 50/50 it is possible it is too thick and not getting to the atomizer in the proper amount. You really have to test it all out. I like the 50/50 mix but I don't use the tanks.

It is just the way your body is cleaning itself out. Like Kitsune, I could have slept for several days when I made the switch. Be patient it will all pass soon and you will begin to notice the benefits. This is a good time to watch yourself, if something really seems out of the norm or if the symptoms persist I would make a visit with your doctor. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

You do not need a cartridge for use with a cartomizer. The cartomizer is its own cartridge. I use them all the time when going out and about. They have made life easier.

The cartridge is the mouth piece part that comes with an atomizer. It will have a white looking filler that can be removed. You soak the white filler with liquid and replace it back on the atomizer. Cartridges do not wick well to the atomizer. That is why direct dripping is always recommended with atomizers.

The sizzling sound means it is still working. When it stops making sound or production vapor it is dead. Sometime you might retire an atomizer early because the flavor just won't be good and a cleaning doesn't work. 5 weeks for atomizer is pretty good, some have reported them lasting longer but they are meant to be disposable. Alcohol is a drying agent. The coil is probably too dry and your cart is not wicking enough liquid to the atomizer to produce vapor. Try adding a few drops directly on the atomizer and see if that helps with the problem. I don't recommend using alcohol to clean an atomizer. I really don't bother with it. It is easier to start with a fresh atomizer when I feel it has lived its life.

The higher the nicotine content the greater the throat hit. It does not mean you will get more vapor. PG will also help with a better throat hit. VG will have less throat hit but produce better vapor. I wouldn't raise my nic content to get better throat hit. I can't handle the effects of nicotine any higher than what I am currently vaping. You could try and add some menthol to your liquid for a little extra kick.

I prefer the Joye 510 atomizers and the Boge Cartomizers. The only 901's I have used were the dse901. They worked well for me, not sure what off brand you got.

The only extra I would suggest you add to your order would be a drip tip. It is nice to not have to pull the mouth piece off the atomizer to add the drops.

If you hear gurgling that is too much liquid and the atomizer is flooded. Try using 2 drops instead of 3. You should get about 7-10 draws before having to re-drip.

Welcome to the forum. You want to get the drip tip that fits on the 510 atomizer. The ego uses a 510 atomizer. I suggest using the Boge (silver threads) cartomizers over the Joye (gold threads). Direct dripping on the atomizer is much better than trying to use the cartridges. The cartridges do not do a very good job at wicking the liquid to the atomizer. The cartomizers will be a really good replacement to the cartridges.

I have used both to charge my Ego batteries. Never really paid attention to why one was better than the other. I actually had to ask this same question so I could post an answer. The wall charger works faster!
