  1. That was my plan. I was going to run down to the local shop and pick up some lower nic liquids. However, I have been using the 12 mg and I seem to not have any issues. Not feeling any side effects of nic overload and I finally figured out the draw on the sub ohm. Not harsh at all, but I really don't have any harsh flavors in my rotation to begin with. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to close up the airflow and seem happy. I am going to buy some lower nic liquids and make the switch in the tanks. Guess I am just a bit weird and keeping an eye on how I am feeling so I don't overload. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. I want to add a disclaimer to my last post for all vapers wanting to go to sub-ohm route, listen to what Earthling789 said in his reply post to me! Do not do as I do or am doing. I have been vaping for a very long time, I know the effects of nicotine overload! I am being extremely careful vaping 12mg in a sub-ohm tank!
  2. My turn. Well...I took a very big jump into the pond. I am now the proud owner of a Cool Fire IV plus, ISub Apex tank and the Cleito tank. The Cool Fire is nice. Feels good in the hand and the buttons are sturdy. It is 70w with a built in battery. The Apex came with two .5ohm coils and the Cleito has a .4ohm and .2ohm coils. I have been using the Nautilus and Protanks. These new tanks are kicking my butt. It took me awhile to figure out how to draw on these without choking to death. But the flavor is outstanding! OMG! I can actually taste my liquids now. I have the airflow wide open and the wattage set at the minimum for the coils. Will take me awhile to get used to it before I can fine tune it up or down. The only downside I see is cleaning the Apex tank. It doesn't exactly come apart like other tanks. I will share that with you all later. Today was a good vaping day.
  3. The way I understand it is they are banning the portable electronic smoking devices, not batteries. As it reads, you can take your battery you just can't take your devices. I see tube mods coming back with fake flashlight attachments, e-liquid being transported in shampoo bottles and the tanks/atomizers being broken up and scattered in with jewelry.
  4. The industry changed so fast since I started vaping that I have not had this problem. I did have a bunch of batteries from old mechanical mods that refused to charge. I am not sure if the problem was from the batteries sitting for so long or if the charger was bad. When I moved, I just ditched them all because I was not using those old mechanical mods.
  5. If you are in a vape shop, they will ask for your ID to verify your age. Sorry but you are out of luck. If you are buying online, you will be asked to verify your birth date when entering the website. Some states are now requiring ID verification, and you will need to scan and send a copy of your driver's license/state ID in order to buy.
  6. By tricks, do you mean to make things similar to balloon animals? If so, I would like to request a giraffe.
  7. My best guess is the battery is defective. The light on the button should do something when pressed, even if it has a limited charge. I am still thinking the battery is defective. The light might be defective and the coil could be dry. That might explain why the liquid is hot, but not producing any vapor. This is a CE4, the coil is on the top and not on the bottom.
  8. I am not a fan of charging batteries or anything using a USB port. Except for an Ipod shuffle or Fit Bit. If the USB port is your only option, you might want to try plugging it into optional USB port on your computer. I have a couple on my laptop, one won't charge anything, but will play, the other is very happy to charge anything I plug into it. I see you have a MAC, pissy little computer. I have and had MACS, so I can call it pissy. They hate charging shit. Try the optional USB port if you have one. If you battery is dead on your laptop, and you are charging at the same time, expect a delay in charging the ecig battery. As stated before, the CE4 is the tank. The CE4 has nothing to do with the power of the battery. The battery is a battery, right now your problem lies with the battery and not having any power. If it isn't charged by the morning, take it back to the retailer you purchased it from.
  9. Hard to say from what you are describing. Are you charging it from a usb port? When you click it 5 times, are there any lights flashing on the battery? It is pretty hard to push the center pin down on the battery with one use. It usually will happen after several uses. You don't need to screw on the CE4 so tight for it to make contact. It sounds like the battery is bad, not the CE4. What kind of battery? There are many that come with a blister pack. I would take it back to the supplier.
  10. I have heard nothing but excellent reviews on the rx200. I almost pulled the trigger on this one, found a really good price. But it is overkill for how I vape. I got sucked into the hype. But I do believe it is a good device and the price seems to keep going down. I am glad you guys are all liking it.
  11. I recently took a vacation to Disneyland. This was my first trip on a plane in 16 years. I have to admit I was a bit nervous going through the new security protocol. I made sure to look up all the new TSA rules and procedures. I do have to compliment the TSA and their instructions. It was pretty simple to understand, someone did get the memo and wrote it for stupid people. My dad told me one time, in business, always write down instructions/memos so the stupidest person in your office will understand. lol I opted to take my Spinners and EVOD tanks. I wouldn't be heart broken if these were confiscated. I filled one tank and disconnected it from the battery. I did this for safety, just in case the battery decided to do it's own thing. I put the batteries and tanks in my back pack. I put the charger and liquid in my check in luggage. I stuck two 15ml bottles in with my cosmetics. Not a problem and I didn't get stopped or have my checked bag opened. I used a TSA approved lock, with open alert, on my checked bag. I really did the lock out of curiosity, I don't put valuables in my luggage. I didn't need to vape in the airport, I am one of those weird chain vapers that can go 8 hours without it. I smoked cigs the same way. I didn't plan on vaping while in Disneyland. I only saw one person puffing away the whole 3 days I was there. I was also surprised at the small amount of smokers in the park. Good luck. Enjoy your journey.
  12. Congrats. Glad he did well on the ASVAB. Good luck to him in the Navy.
  13. EVOD does make a glass tank, EVOD Glass. The glass tanks are hard to find now. The EVOD and EVOD 2 are plastic tanks. The only difference is the mouth piece. These tanks will crack if you use citrus or heavy menthol flavors. But it took a long time for me to finally crack those tanks. Pretty sturdy with my experience. 50pg/50vg mix works well, but anything with a higher vg content doesn't wick well.
  14. You guys did math...my head hurts now. Welcome to the forum. What box did you get?
  15. I finally picked up a different tank. I ended up with the Nautilus. What I really wanted was the Kabuki from House of Hybrids. It is a custom tank that uses the Nautilus coils. The Kabuki is $89 and made in the USA. The price tag and not having used the Nautilus made me change my mind. I figured it was a better bet to try out the Nautilus coils first and if I liked them, then I would invest in the Kabuki tank. I did look at the Triton V2, but something turned me off to it. I don't remember what it was, it might have been all the coil options. I might go back to that one later. I have had the Nautilus loaded up for the past half hour. I really like it. The flavor is amazing. So much better than the Kanger stuff I have. It started to gurgle after the few draws. I opened it back up and noticed there really isn't any way to blow it out. Confusion set in. Put it back together, took it apart, put it back together and so on. It stopped gurgling. I have no idea how and why it stopped. Oh well. I really like the air flow adjustment. Not a bad tank. I also bought another Istick 30W battery. I really like these batteries. They are hard to find now. It looks like most of the Eleaf products are going up in wattage and with TC. The Nautilus tank just fits on the deck, but I can deal with it. Thanks for all your help guys!
  16. I have watched this happen. Pricing team comes through, raises everything a few cents, then it goes on sale a week later. I worked in retail, mostly food, food usually only goes up a few cents. The sale usually made the price lower, even before the raise, but the retailer was still able to grab a few extra pennies. Black Friday is a prime example of not having sale items in stock or a limited amount. But available stock also has to do with the volume and location of the store. If you are in a small area, that particular store might only receive a few of the items or none it all. A larger volume store will receive the bulk of sale items. If the item wasn't on the truck, before the sale, it will not be on a later truck. Yes, we did say "Sorry, our shipment didn't come in today. We will be getting another tomorrow." Most of the really hot deals were not available online either. The only way to get a good deal is to shop the clearance sections.
  17. I did not receive any vape gear for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, I received a jury summons for January.
  18. Pink Spot and BeKuali were my go to for a long time. I needed to change things up and I have been using EC Blends and Mt. Baker. Mostly various fruit flavors from Mt. Baker and some of the Tobacco style flavors from EC Blends. My eliquid journey is a bunch of squiggly lines traveling in all directions. I have no idea what I want. I am lost. But having a good time trying out different flavors every few weeks.
  19. It concerns me that your supplier is not willing to replace a defective product. Did you wait too long to report the problem to the supplier? They should have replaced your product if it is defective. Most vendors have contracts, with the manufacturer, that allow them to send back defective products. It could be possible that you have a clone/knockoff device. Which could answer why it is defective and why your vendor won't replace it.
  20. I have to agree with everyone on Comp's (Fadora Vapor). He is so easy to work with and really cares about what he sends out. @Compenstine I did really like all the flavors that you sent out, I need to get with you and talk about some of them. You did a good job with all the crazy requests I put in! ECblends is another good company. I like what they have to offer and the prices are not too bad. I just got a delivery from them. They are pretty thorough when sending out an order. They will let you know what liquids are best when steeped. They also sent out a printed catalog, full color, of hardware and flavors with my order. Pretty nice. I was impressed. I also like Mt. Baker. Their pricing is pretty decent and their flavors seem to be consistent. I have found that it is best to order an extra flavor shot for almost everything they sell. But this is my preference. I have a tendency to suffer from the dreaded "vapor tongue".
  21. The holes in Kanger cotton are larger too. What I did notice the other day, was the regular dual coil has 2 small holes. I must not pay attention well. lol Thanks everyone for the tank suggestions. I will look into your suggestions.
  22. I was going to do a review between the regular and organic cotton dual coils from Kanger, but decided against it. I wanted to know if anyone else has tried them and what they thought. I use Glass EVODs and a ProTank 3. I have been using both coils the last few months. I can't tell the difference between the two. The organic cotton version requires special priming. I usually add a few drops around the holes until it stops soaking up liquid. Then let it sit a few minutes before firing. The regular ones, I would just fill and let stand a few minutes. I did start priming the regular coils like the cotton ones. It didn't make a difference. Like any tank, they leak the same at some point during use, usually towards the end of a 15ml bottle. I guess the whole point to the organic cotton version is for flavor. Yep, no difference. The price point between the two is usually a $1 or $2 per package of 5, cotton costing more. Anyone else have an opinion? I have been looking at other tanks to replace my Kanger EVOD's and Protank. I just can't seem to make up my mind. Plus the coils are more expensive for other tanks. Have no desire to re-build or cloud chase. Any suggestions? Only asking because it seems what I use is on the way out.
  23. Yum! Turnips would be perfect for turkey.
