I did a little research and I was always led back to the Bulli A2 atomizer from Germany. It appears that no one has truly identified what material to use for a wick and if using a fiberglass material is really safe. I guess this is a use at your own risk type of answer.

Welcome to the forum. I started out with the 510 and the 801 pen style. The industry really has changed in the last 2 years that I have been vaping. I think it will continue to evolve. Making the switch to vaping really does require a good product and the will power to make that change in your life. It is possible that you weren't just ready your first time out. I am glad to see you have come back and are giving it a second chance. Good luck.

It looks like they have a 90 day warranty. I would contact the seller for help or return the product for a refund. If you return the product for a refund, I suggest you look at the Joye eGo or the 510 standard model. There is also a personal charging case available for the 510 standard model. The eGo battery is a larger battery and will last you most of the day. The eGo is compatible with the 510 atomizers and cartomizers.

The symptoms you describe really sound like the 18mg is too high for you. Try lowering it.

LR atomizers or cartomizer should only be used on a 3.7v device only. If you are going to use the Chuck or SB at 3.7v you can use the LR atomizer. If you choose to stack batteries and run the devices at 6v, do not use a LR atty and use the standard version. 6V delivers quite a punch with hotter vapor and throat hit.

I don't have the MAP tank. Are you buying the actual MAP Tank or another product? As far as I know, the MAP tank comes in two versions. The original that uses a cut down CE2 cartomizer and the DCT MAP Tank that uses the punched dual coil cartomizers. Hello and welcome to the forum! Congratulations on deciding to make the switch. The liquid in the Vapor Talk and Forever Vapor stores do contain nicotine. When you purchase a bottle of liquid you have the choice of nicotine levels. If you currently smoke a pack a day I would suggest starting with the 16/18mg level. You will need to start off with a kit, the eGo is the best choice for battery life and functionality. The kits will come with all the gear you need to get started. You should also purchase a couple bottles of liquid that are sold separately from the kits. I also suggest adding a couple extra atomizers and a package of cartomizers.

The liquid inside a new atomizer is called the "primer". It keeps the coil moist while in transport and storage. I do not suggest cleaning the atomizer with water or any other substances before or during use. You can roll up a paper towel or kleenex, insert it into the atomizer and blow gently through the battery connector end. This will clear out the excess primer fluid. You can also use this method between flavor changes. There is also the dry burn, hit the button on the battery (short burst) a few times to burn off the primer. Be really careful if you do this, you can burn out the coil and break your atomizer.

Yes, you will need to order liquid separate from the kit. Most kits do not include liquid. If you are not sure what flavor of liquid you would like to try, look for suppliers that sell smaller sample sizes. You will want to order more than one bottle anyways. It is always best to have more than one flavor at your disposal. You will find better deals, more variety when purchasing online and shipping only takes a few days.
