  1. Most tobacco flavors I have tried either tasted horrible or had a real nutty flavor. It wasn't enough to keep me interested. I have found some of the cigar or pipe flavors to be pleasing. They reminded me of that smell from family members that used to smoke cigars and pipes. You just need to experiment with all types of flavors and find the ones that will work for you.
  2. Your post was moved to the DIY area because of the mention of nicotine greater than 36mg and because it discusses mixing your own liquid.
  3. With the kit you will get 2 atomizers. You can try out direct dripping with the atomizers and experiment with the cartomizers. You can then decide which ones you like the best. I still use both, really depends on my mood. The cartomizers are nice for filling up and vaping in the car. Using atomizers with the direct drip method allows you to test out your flavors before filling up a carto. It is a win, win situation. I am a pretty heavy vapor and I go through about 10ml maybe a bit more a week. I really don't keep track. It is different for each person. If you are ordering a kit from the VT store, you should try out some of their e-liquid. All the flavors are really good and some of them are my favorites. Here is a video about direct dripping with the atomizer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h14QDp4v3O4&feature=player_embedded
  4. You could try a 510 pass through like this one, http://www.vaportalkstore.com/products/Joye-510-USB-Passthrough-.html Or you could get the eGo pass through. It is much more reliable and you can disconnect the battery from the usb cable and take it with you. http://www.forevervapor.com/products/Joye-eGo-USB-Passthrough.html
  5. See this post regarding Ovale and the eGo C.
  6. This is the eGo pass through that I was referring to above. I love this battery! http://www.forevervapor.com/batteries/joye-ego-tank-1000mah-passthrough/
  7. The eGo C is brand new to the market. It was just released in the last month or so. That is why not all the suppliers are carrying them yet. I have used the regular eGo tank and I thought it worked well. But I have been vaping for 2 years and I found the regular eGo battery or the eGo pass through with a cartomizer to be simple and less fuss than the tanks. You should order more than one bottle of juice and few different flavors that might be appealing to you. If you end up with the tank, it is best to have a few extra atomizers and tanks on hand. Anything can go wrong and you don't want to be left empty handed. The same goes for the cartomizers. You always want to have back ups. I agree with McQuinn, because you are new, keep it simple until you adjust to making the switch. I am also unfamiliar with the supplier that you have linked in your posts. I do not know if they are reliable or not.
  8. Joye 510 and then 801 pen style.
  9. The woman, Valerie, that was interviewed for the article is a long time member of the extended vaping community. You might see her around the communities using the name VapingValerie.
  10. Congratulations on making the 2 year anniversary!
  11. There is something sexy when 2 guys start talking about batteries.
  12. I gave the LR version of the eGo Tank a whirl. I enjoyed using it but it does have it's faults. You will want to refill the tank when it is either empty or when you noticed vapor and flavor starting to diminish. I got about 3 fillings out of the tank before it started to leak because the hole had become larger. Not a bad setup but could use some improvement. I went back to using the cartomizers. A little less technical than the tank.
  13. The eGo T is really nice. I have only tried the LR version of the tank system. It is probably a good idea to step up to the dual cartomizers or maybe even the LR cartos. Your other option might be to try an up your level of nic. I have been vaping for 2 years and I still use 18/16 mg. I have experimented with lower nic and I do well, but when that stress moment really hits, I find that my old nic level really helps. Good luck.
  14. Why milk and not steak? lol
  15. I left a fully charged eGo battery in my car over night and it was completely dead the next day. It was during the winter months and very cold that night.
  16. I am sure others will give you their opinion on liquids that work well at higher voltages. I stick mainly to the flavors from the Vapor Talk store. Those work the best for me.
  17. Not all e-liquid is meant to be vaped at 6v. There will be some flavors that work well at 6v and some will just taste burnt or have no flavor at all. Most people find vaping at 4.5 to 5v to work well for them. I don't like anything higher than 5v.
  18. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
  19. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
  20. The 510-T needs to have a tank. The tank cartridges have a mouth piece built right in. I don't have the 510-T, but if it is built the same way was the eGo tank atomizer, it has a post that punctures the tank. I am pretty sure you can not direct drip with the 510-T atomizer.
  21. If you are using the cartridges, the filler should hang about 1/8" (maybe a bit less) from the end. It needs to make contact with the bridge, mesh looking triangle, in the atomizer. The bridge draws the liquid from the filler to the coil. The filler is going to burn a little, there is really no way to avoid it. I would suggest removing the filler from the mouth piece and using the direct drip method. Add 2-3 drops right on the atomizer and you should get about 7-10 drags before needing to re-drip. You will experience better vapor and flavor.
  22. That is one heck of a good idea. Better to make something with them then allow the bottles to float around the ocean as trash.
  23. I gave the 306 LR a go. It leaked, the vapor was way to hot and it killed the flavor. I prefer the 510 LR over the 306 LR.
  24. What this all boils down to is quality control. Mr. CEO is sitting in his office counting his money while his workers are not paying attention or just don't care. If this were a pharmaceutical company, mislabeling a bottle, there would be hell to pay. The FDA would probably swoop in and hand them a hefty fine and not to mention the possible lawsuits that would follow. Mr. CEO needs to get off his chair and spend some time in his production room.
